Rio Bravo, Tamaulipas: Government Claims Its All Good In The Hood

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

A sudden running gun battle is underway between members of organized crime on the city streets of Rio Bravo.

Loud sporadic gunfire pierces the early morning dawn while pedestrians hug the ground for safety.

The bravery of a lone Mexican male records the events during the armed attack as it unfolds.

  3. Just like Cabeza de algodón AMLO nothing happens it’s all good. Mexico way way safer than US. Me being from Matamoros not like US is perfect but goin to The Valley next wk for Mother’s Day and I doubt I’ll cross with my kids to Matamoros, ain’t risking their lives

    2. Golfos are wild they are split into so many cells who don't like each other. Reynosa and the municipality has lots of recruits so they shouldn't run out of people to fight. Just realized the plus of having a border town with lots of people is your only issue is getting dope into the city to move north. You have recruits, guns in bunches no wonder Golfos and CDN can survive so long making it difficult to take the plaza. Only way is to infiltrate corrupt people in the city so you get a foothold.

  9. Them teo guys filming are something else. It's foolish for them walking towards the confrontation, but at the same time you have to have balls of steel to do some shit like that. Then when there in the alley the other guy with the one filming calls home or something and tells the person on the other end "where's my mom, let me talk to her no" in a tone of voice of yea this is just another normal day....I tip my hat to these men
