THE NATIONAL GUARD ASSURES, IN SINALOA, A RADIATOR FILLED WITH APPARENT DRUGS
The auto part was located in a courier company.
Culiacán, Sinaloa, March 6, 2023.
Through a statement, the National Guard reported that in a parcel company, located in Culiacán, it secured a car radiator in which packages of apparent crystal meth were hidden.

According to the information card, the finding was made by elements of the corporation as part of compliance with the National Public Security Strategy and to contribute to the National Strategy for the Prevention of Addictions Together for Peace, who, with prior authorization, entered a courier and parcel company located in Culiacán, Sinaloa in the company of a canine binomial.

The staff of the institution randomly chose various shipments; when sniffing a box, the canine specimen showed a change in behavior, followed by the positive indication to an aroma for which it was trained, indicating the possible presence of some illicit object or substance.

When carrying out a thorough inspection, they located a car radiator that concealed plastic wrappers, containing a white and crystalline substance with characteristics similar to the narcotic known as glass.

The probable psychotropic was made available to the Public Prosecutor's Office in the entity, to continue the corresponding investigations, as well as to accurately determine the weight and type of substance.

    4. 8:23 Not speed man. Speed is normal amphetamine. Crank is meth.

    5. 10:50 IDK, they're all uppers and crank is not clearish like the other three but I'm no chemist

    6. 2:07 Just because they’re all uppers doesn’t mean much. Only amphetamines affect the TAAR1 receptor for instance which is why Ritalin and cocaine feel completely different. Crank can be clearish because “crank” is literally just a nickname for methamphetamine. Speed is normal amphetamine. Coloring doesn’t matter.

P.S. Speed even actually has more of an ‘edge’ fight or flight/adrenaline feeling than crank because normal amphetamine releases more norepinephrine than meth but less serotonin so it’s subjectively “less smooth”. Also much much shorter lasting. MDMA and meth are some of the only uppers that even last more than a few hours unless it’s an extended release form.

    7. 3:29 much appreciated for the info. By any chance are you the person who would comment if the authorities in México tested the meth to know if it was D or L meth or something like that? Did you read a recent article on here of a meth lab bust in Sinaloa where there is a picture of an electronic device that is "analyzing" the seized drugs?

    8. 4:47 I actually wasn’t that person but do remember their comments and I think I commented once or twice about the d-meth vs l-meth thing as well but only after that.

And ya I saw the recent seizure in Sinaloa where the device said L-methamphetamine on the screen so it appears they do test which version at least sometimes. Kinda weird though, I wonder if it’s just straight up l-meth or a racemic mixture of both forms. These days a lot of people think even the mixed batches are no longer 50/50 mixes.

    1. Doesn’t matter how “clean” it is if it’s a racemic batch.

  3. Mexican Agency or Policy name:
“>National Public Security Strategy< and to contribute to the >National Strategy for the Prevention of Addictions Together for Peace<”. Not lost in translation. I get the idea. Families free from addicted family members can be at peace. Neighborhoods too. I just wish our prisons, and all prisons & jails worldwide, could do a better job helping the addicted. In Agua Prieta, Sonora sometimes badly behaved addicted folks get disappeared. Fijanse pues!

  4. There was a study back in 2012 that measured the average purity of Mexican meth after heavier controls on precursors like ephedrine were implemented in the country. They should do an update to this
