Tepatitlán de Morelos, Jalisco: An Intense Shooting Mobilizes Emergency Services

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

An intense police mobilization was registered this afternoon in the municipality of Tepatitlán, after a confrontation between armed men was reported.

Images have circulated on social networks of two vehicles, whose occupants exchange gunfire on Colosio Avenue, almost at the intersection with Gomez Morin Avenue, outside the hospital named Real San Lucas.

The participants in the scuffle practically closed the roads while some spectators recorded it with their cell phones.

Elements of the Secretariat of Security located a late-model red Toyota pickup truck with multiple gunshot impacts in a nearby gap.

A dog was found shot to death in the bed of the vehicle, but nothing was known about the whereabouts of the driver or other occupants of the vehicle.

  5. Just hold the phone steady and point it at the action. This person films like a drunk, why bother filming if you’re just going to spin about film trees, the ground and traffic in portrait mode?

    1. Supply and demand. With two mega cartels competing for sales. Both are bringing in more most likely causing prices to drop.

    3. A big sinaloa cartel load was busted today or yeaterday it came out on mexican news. It has to be the colombians are producing more. Or the market has changed in some way.
