Judge Sentences 'Tony Montana', Brother Of CJNG Leader 'Mencho' To Trial

A federal judge based in Almoloya de Juarez ordered the indictment of Antonio Oseguera Cervantes, alias "Tony Montana," brother of the leader of the Jalisco Cartel - New Generation (CJNG), Nemesio Oseguera, "El Mencho.


The Attorney General's Office (FGR) charged the brother of "El Mencho" for his alleged responsibility in crimes against health, possession and stockpiling of firearms and cartridges for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces.


On Tuesday, December 20, "Tony Montana" was captured by personnel from the Ministry of National Defense, the National Guard and the Attorney General's Office in the municipality of Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, one of the CJNG's main areas of operation.

According to information from federal authorities, Antonio Oseguera Cervantes was in charge of buying weapons for the Jalisco Cartel, among other things.


"Tony Montana" will remain incarcerated in the Almoloya maximum security prison.

  1. So he is a big fish or not? This seems like not. Many articles about him say he was putting major work, but folks seemingly in the know compare him to Mencho's son whose role in the cartel consisted of playing XBox and Fortnight on the couch in various safehouses.

  2. One thing us for sure, this guy is a major player but playing it safe. If in Mexico he will live Luke a king 👑 in the prison system.
    He doesn't have charges to be sent up north.
