FGR Secures Around 300 Kilos Of Fentanyl Hidden In Coconuts In Sonora

 "Ivan" for Borderland Beat

Elements of the Attorney General's Office (FGR), attached to the Criminal Investigation Agency (AIC), secured in Sonora approximately 300 kilograms of fentanyl, hidden inside coconuts.

The shipment was being transported in a trailer, which was stopped on highway section 26, Puerto Libertad, where two people were arrested.

The inside of the coconuts was scraped to hide bags with blue pills.

So far there are no further details about the seizure, but the FGR informed that the suspected drugs and the detainees were handed over to the MPF, who is carrying out the corresponding investigation.
