"Socalj" for Borderland Beat
The founder of the Guadalajara Cartel was arrested in 1989 and at 76 years of age, with various health problems, he is to continue his sentence at home. |
At 76 years old, the "Boss of Bosses", Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, who has been serving a prison sentence for more than three decades for the murder of former DEA agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena, obtained this Monday, September 12 the benefit of house arrest. However, in the afternoon of the same day, the Attorney General's Office (FGR) challenged the resolution issued by the federal judge.
It should be noted that the authority that granted this option only referred to a sentence of 40 years in prison. Another judge still needs to rule on the sentence he faces for the murder of DEA agent Enrique Kiki Camarena and Mexican pilot Alfredo Zavala Avelar, a crime committed in 1985 and for which he was sentenced to 37 years in prison.
The former criminal leader has been imprisoned since 1989, the year he was arrested for the murder of Enrique Camarena, an American DEA agent investigating the actions of the Guadalajara Cartel.
It should be remembered that on May 18, a federal judge rejected an injunction promoted by Félix Gallardo when he sought to reduce his sentences , on that occasion the magistrate considered that he should spend 45 more years in prison.
On January 5, 2022, the drug trafficker challenged the sentence that refused to protect him against the payment of 20 million 810 thousand pesos to the families of the DEA agent, Enrique Camarena Salazar, and that of the Mexican pilot, Alfredo Zavala Avelar.
Boo Hoo, health concerns? Concerns for Kiki and his pilot trump his already lost soul. . No matter where he spends his time left here, he still has hell to pay.
ReplyDeleteC’mon now you still believe camarena was killed Gallardo and Quintero. Camarena was silenced cause he knew too much he found out how DEA and CIA are involved in the business and how much money there were receiving.
Delete11:24 DEA back then were basically boy-scouts
Delete11:03 Erm, Felix isn’t really the one I would put most blame on for Kiki. Mainly Rafa and the PRI.
DeleteI wouldn’t blame Neto either
And what difference is it really, what precise crimes he pay for? He spent his lifetime as a monster of sorts. He still deserves zero compassion.
Delete1124 believes in every conspiracy theory because she can't accept that the Guadalajara cartel listened to nobody and did bad shit. Tonta
DeleteThat the DEA and CIA killed Camarena is a myth.
Delete12:05 If you want us to hate Miguel then why bring up Kiki? Miguel ultimately had little to do with that, not to mention Kiki was a DEA agent.. Since when did people suddenly start liking DEA agents? It’s not like he was doing anything halfway noble like trying to catch Escobar or something. He was literally just trying to fuck up a perfect weed operation just south of the border.
Delete2:15 No need for the overcorrection. Yes the Guadalajara Cartel did it but they weren’t acting alone
Delete@2:15 sure ain’t no conspiracy, Or where you there when caro silenced camarena? Any cartel does as they please, the problem here is that US has been cleaning their hands on this Quintero and Gallardo thing. Believe what you want pedazo de olleja.
Delete2:44pm
DeleteI wasn't there as you also were not there. I'm going by evidence not speculation, conspiracy, or pet theories.
3:49
DeletePlenty of evidence that the Mexican government was involved 🤡
Oswald was the only shooter.....
DeleteOk, I really would like one day for Caro Quintero to tell the truth, who killed Camarena.
DeleteI am not caring who anyone hates. Stating my opinion that the guy has no rights left, but in the end for him, he has much to account for and I believe he will. He has to stop breathing first.
Delete@3:49 must be a washed Mexican, thinking that the US is so innocent and have no ties to cartels. What a 🤡. Sit down and make me a sandwich. You looking foolish.
DeleteHe still claims he is innocent, he wont pay compensation. He should have died in a US prison
ReplyDeleteCIA smoking on kiki pack tonight
Delete12:22 Great reference. I wonder just how many heads that will fly over
DeletePiece of shit. He belongs in Florence.

DeleteLook at all the copaganda in the comments
ReplyDeleteWelcome home jefe
ReplyDeleteI would not be surprised anymore if this guy also gets a lovely home in Atherton, just like a certain other individual
ReplyDeleteArmando didn’t get a home in atherton,he’s a usa citizen!
DeleteAVC is sanctioned under the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Act. His nationality is listed as Mexican. U.S. citizens cannot be sanctioned under the Foreign Narcotics Kingpin Act. AVC was a mandatory deportation due to his conviction. His light sentence alone raises suspicions, but to allow a foreign national with this type of conviction to remain in the U.S. is unprecedented. The only things that I can think of is that he gave some pretty valuable information to the U.S. government or perhaps is expected to testify in a major case.
DeleteWhat about the nazi war criminals brought over by operation paper clip?
DeleteIt’s only ok for the nazis because there anglos but because there Hispanics it’s a huge problem
DeleteAtherton is one of the richest communities in the U.S. I wonder what AVC gave up for the privilege of living in the U.S. The law bars non U.S. citizens and their family members from entering the U.S. It's one thing to reduce a sentence for cooperation but another thing to treat them like royalty. This is an incredibly bad precedent. I would like to see the court records in his case. Atherton deserves to turn into a narco ghetto for allowing trash to move in.
ReplyDeleteHe's done his time 33 years gone.
