Governor highlighted the timely implementation of security protocols
Víctor Ramírez | El Occidental
The arrest of Erik "N" alias "85", did not provoke disturbances as happened less than a month ago after an operation by the Mexican Army, so Jalisco is calm due to the timely application of protocols and coordination between authorities.
The Governor of Jalisco, Enrique Alfaro Ramírez, highlighted that on this occasion one of the founding chiefs of one of the most recognized drug trafficking groups was arrested, there was no occasion to allow violent reactions from his subordinates to try to block his transfer.
As soon as reports of these actions were obtained from the Federal Government, "the protocol that has already been established was implemented, the issue was reported in the early hours of the morning, the mechanisms and provisions were established in a scheme that has been reviewed with the federation and, so far, there is no problem", that is, no blockades or burning of vehicles in any part of the country. In response to the questioning that there is an alert in the entity for any type of reaction in the coming days and hours, the state governor ruled out a special situation or one that would cause concern to deploy more elements or actions different from those established in the agreed protocols.
"No, there is not and we are attentive, the security table every time there is an important detention of the Army, there is an established protocol and internal coordination mechanisms that are activated," he assured.
But Alfaro Ramírez did clarify that all the information related to the detention, transfer, crimes of which he is accused, destination and location are completely under the authority of the Federal Government.
From there, the corresponding information will be provided, since it is also an agreement reached between authorities for this type of operation.
To me it sounds like 85 was given up to authorities
ReplyDeleteI remember seeing a video where mencho personally snitches on these Man Call Alfaro Something that he is enemie of HIM
Delete1:51:
DeleteVideos of Mencho are rare. You might not be remembering this correctly. If you run into any photos or videos of Mencho, please post them here.
@11:06, no doubt. Mencho snitched to take some heat off his sick, old, dying ass.
Delete2:06 wasnt nencho dead? Come on guys make up your minds! Or was it menchos ghost? What is it?
DeleteThe only video of Mencho I’m aware of his one where he is ALLEGEDLY dancing with wife his while a band (I forget which) plays at a private party. If that is Mencho in the video he is relatively in shape - contrary to some reports - though admittedly the video is some years old. Anyone hear anything else about this video? It was identified by the tiles on the floor where he was dancing if I recall correctly.
Delete1:51 I remember seen a video of Ivan getting kicked on the ribs
DeleteI would like to say that Jalisco didn't suffer from violence thanks to the government's planning and coordination, but the violence in Jalisco 3 weeks ago doesn't support that. It's more likely that 85's role in the CJNG has greatly diminished.
ReplyDeleteYes or maybe he turned himself in
DeleteHe’s facing extradition and was caught with a bunch of stuff doubt he turned himself in
Delete1:51 drugs more then likely planted if you look at the quantitie and who 85 is that doesn't add up.
DeleteMust've posed a serious threat for mencho to rat
ReplyDeleteYeah with his two member cartel/lieutenants/bodyguards😜
DeleteIn all of 85 arrest pics dude looks calm as shit. As if he has a calm persona. Obviously not if he was a Mata Zeta.
ReplyDeleteHe looks absolutely stoic
Delete85 entered Veracruz with 15 estacas in 2011 to hunt down the zetas. That’s when they made the news in Boca Del Río and subsequently made a video with ski masks
DeleteHe wasnt A Matazeta he is know as EL Matazeta. Huge difference
ReplyDelete@1.22 El 85 was a Matazeta. He was either the boss or at least way up there.
DeleteIf El 85 was already fighting with El Mencho he did not get betrayed per say.
ReplyDeleteIf anything he got respected and turned over to the cops not executed like a regular cartel member for going against El Mencho.
This is what happens in many cartels with a lot of their top capos.
Rather than execute former partners you simply turn them in.
I think it's possible the blowback from the Government would be too strong if they burned the city EACH time someone got taken in
ReplyDeleteFor someone like Mencho's wife, they didn't, his son, same. They have other ways to get them out, quietly. The political capital you lose when you burn is expensive.
Look at 85, did 5 years, and eventually walked. He can try that again.
DeleteThe lack of backlash shows either (1) 85 is no longer very important in the hierarchy of CJNG or (2) 85 really did turn against Mencho and was either a part of CNP or allied with the other CDS-backed remnants in Jalisco.
ReplyDelete85 was supposed to be number 2 in Cjng
DeleteDoubt it. CJNG lit up three states when they tried to capture RR and Apa, and neither of them is seen as #2 or #3 in CJNG. When they tried to capture Mencho CJNG shot down a helicopter. There have been major gun battles when they have tried to capture plaza bosses for CJNG such as Chola and M2 de Nayarit. When Mencho’s wife was arrested CJNG kidnapped Marines. CJNG’s MO is to put up a violent reaction whenever someone important is captured.
Delete9.10
DeleteYeah, I think that info about 85 being number 2 or 3 is way out of date, but the RR and Apa attempt was very different- The operation was done on the fly when they allegedly meeting, with loads of equipment and loads of men, to film a propaganda video. So it wasn't just them, and they were able to fight back.
Cjng got to big to fast for El 85..
ReplyDeleteMaybe just maybe 85 was "retired" in the way few men retire from that occupation. An advisor/consigliere? Perhaps. Two bodyguards for a low profile or did he not sense any danger when he was "captured" in his guarida
ReplyDeleteThe Mata Zetas commandos of Special Forces sicarios will liberate el commandante 85
ReplyDelete6:49:
DeleteWelcome back sicario 006.

DeleteHe's going to be gutted when he finds the virgins are all a bunch of Reddit incels.
Who controls the area 85 was caught in? That's what cartel he is with if he's active or retired
ReplyDeleteIt’s in Western Jalisco, a CJNG stronghold. It isn’t too far from El Grullo and Villa Purification where Mencho supposedly hides.
DeleteMencho gave the nod that’s why you corrupt imbeciles!
ReplyDeleteMencho died in February.
