The Queen Of The Pacific Accuses Calderón Of Collaborating With Cartels: "I Was His Scapegoat"

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Sandra Ávila Beltrán acknowledged that the federal government fabricated a crime against her to be apprehended, which she said she lost her family while in jail.

Sandra Ávila Beltrán, The Queen of the Pacific, accused former President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa of collaborating with cartels during his six-year term, calling him the bloodiest, while accusing him of being "his scapegoat."

In an interview with the youtuber Gusgri, the 61-year-old woman claimed that the federal government fabricated a crime against her in order to be apprehended in 2007 for money laundering, a capture with which she said, she lost her family while in jail.

"I want to especially tell former President Felipe Calderón that his six-year term is the most cruel and fatal period that Mexico has had, a bloody six-year term where, I don't say it, the statistics say so, it has been the six-year term where there were more human rights and law violations, where I was their scapegoat.

"I was the first person he arrested in his six-year term and he fabricated a crime for me so he could feel like a good President or a good Mexican when he collaborated with Mexican cartels, where he received much of the fortune he now has that he and his family enjoy from drug trafficking. And who exactly judges him?" she accused.

Who is the Queen of the Pacific?

Sandra Ávila is the niece of Miguel Ángel Félix Gallardo, who together with Rafael Caro Quintero founded the Guadalajara cartel. Her mother, María Luisa Beltrán Félix, was a cousin of Félix Gallardo, and transported drugs to the United States by land and plane.

On February 8, 2015, Sandra Ávila Beltrán left the Federal Center for Social Reintegration number 4 in Nayarit, one day after a single court revoked the five-year sentence handed down for money laundering.

A unitary court revoked the five-year sentence that was handed down for the crime of money laundering, considering that she had already been tried and acquitted for this accusation in the Mexican judicial system.

This accusation kept her imprisoned in the federal prison of El Rincón, in Tepic, Nayarit, since 2014 after being deported from the United States, where she was prosecuted, reached an agreement with the justice of that country.

In September 2007, Ávila Beltrán was arrested by federal forces in what was then the Federal District. She was criminally prosecuted for the crime of resources of illicit origin in criminal case 101/2003, in the 18th District Court of Federal Criminal Procedure in the Federal District, in which she was acquitted.

In August 2012, Sandra Ávila was handed over to the US authorities in compliance with the June 12 extradition agreement to be tried in the neighboring country. On July 25, 2013, the Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida handed her a sentence of 70 months in prison after pleading guilty.

  1. so the government not the cartels are responsible for violence> I suppose its the government skinning people alive as well. Corruption and accomplices is what the government is guilty of but not the primary instigators. No remorse whatsoever for the thousands killed by her family

    4. Good morning everyone.

I think SIR deserves to vent, and not be calm if he chooses. Considering all the shit people say about him. Not for nothing. But Sir at least invokes conversation amongst others. Which is great overall because then some discussions happen. And we learn a few new things here and there......there are ALOT of people here who chose and get away with insulting only. I dont agree with that. Calling anyone a meth head o ly because they decide to comment on things. The surprising thing is that ALOT of the people that call him a meth addict. ARE ALSO LINGERING AND CHECKING OUT THE SITE. Just not commenting.

      Food for thought.

    7. Well 👍 good morning Blanko.
I don't believe SIR is being insulted, he is respected in a funny way. He forms sentences, that I too use the word Gibberish, we don't know if he truly uses drugs, that's his business. Yes people come to vent, an article maybe serious, along comes SIR states something funny, and people start up jokes, I don't consider that insulting.
Besides Sir knows not to take things serious. Sir is ok in my book.
