During the early hours of this Friday three men were killed, one was injured. The authorities arrested two alleged thugs in the community of Machines.

It was past 01:00 hours when, presumably, armed men belonging to a criminal cell tried to enter a home in this community, where there were individuals opposed to them who, apparently, were already waiting for them, when the doors of said home were opened the gun gunfire began.

The exchange of gunfire alerted the residents of that community who, for fear of being injured, stayed inside their homes until the confrontation ended.

Meanwhile police elements from various corporations quickly mobilized to the place of the armed confrontation to diffuse the situation.

After more than twenty minutes and the arrest of two suspected gunmen, the area was declared safe; It is unknown if anyone else was involved or fled the scene.

They also found an injured person who was transferred to a hospital by paramedics from the State Preventive Police (PEP) with the support of the Mexican Red Cross.

In addition, at the scene of the confrontation, they located the bodies of three men with no vital signs and damage to vehicles and the facades of nearby homes.

The entire area was kept under guard by the various security corporations. While experts from the General Directorate of Expert Services (DGSP) collected all the evidence at the crime scene. They also carried out the removal of the three corpses. At this time their identities remain unknown.
