The Jalisco Prosecutor's Office initiated an investigation folder, after locating two men in the municipality of El Salto, one of whom was identified as an active police officer from Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, as confirmed by the state agency.

This Sunday morning, around 11:13 a.m., a report was received of the discovery of the bodies at the intersection of Hermilio Olivares and Minerales, in the La Piedrera neighborhood, for which the municipal police who served as first responders located them. The two male bodies were approximately 500 meters away from each other, as well as an abandoned vehicle. They looked 30 to 35 years old.

Both corpses had wounds apparently caused by a firearm projectile: one had eight impacts and the other one at chest height.

Due to the foregoing, the first respondent requested control and leadership from an agent of the Public Ministry who went to the point and with the support of elements of the Investigative Police to initiate the first inquiries.

Relatives of one of the murdered arrived at the scene, who reported that he responded to the name of Arturo and that he was a municipal police officer from Tlajomulco, while the other remains unidentified so far.
