 "Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Video translation is as follows:

We are going to continue with the news here at Imagen Noticias with Francisco Sea. In the State of Mexico, because elements of the Tonanitla police have allegedly committed acts of corruption, abuse, and authority there as well.

There are so many citizens in this area who are demanding their removal under the argument of being tired of extortions and abuses of authority. Neighbors of Tonanitla lit a patrol car and two motorcycles on fire that make up the municipal police car pool.

The events were recorded when the dissatisfied neighbors arrived at the municipal palace complex. And they demanded the presence of Mayor Felipe Martínez Suárez to stop the police abuses.

However, they were only attended to by the administrator Leticia Reyes. A fact that annoyed the neighbors. They went to the offices of the mediating officer's department where they caused damage. And they rushed against a patrol car and two motorcycles, they were set on fire.

The demand was the removal of the police and the shady mayor himself whose supposed to protect everyone. But upon seeing no response they decided to burn the units without any authority appearing.
