San Francisco del Rincón, Guanajuato: Armed Attack Leaves 2 Dead 2 Injured At A Cemetary

The facts were recorded when they were giving their last goodbye to a man at his funeral.

A man was killed inside the municipal cemetery of the San Miguel neighborhood, during the attack three more people were injured.

Of the injured, a 20-year-old man died in the hospital while receiving medical attention, at the same time a couple entered the emergency room to receive the corresponding attention.

These facts were recorded at 14:04 hours at the cemetery located on the Boulevard Ignacio Ramírez, near the corner of Pedro Nicolás.

Witnesses assured that in the place they were giving their last goodbye to a person who was recently murdered, when people were attacked with gunfire.

Videos on social networks captured the moment of praying when they were interrupted by around 10 rounds from a firearm discharging. 

The death of Francisco Javier, 20 years old was reported at the cemetery. 

The moments of despair were captured by witnesses who reported to authorities that there were also three injured individuals. 

Paramedics gave first aid to Gabriela, Alonso and Juan José, 23, 20 and 38 years old respectively.

Gabriela and Juan José were reported under stable health conditions.

However, Alonso, 20, didn’t have the same luck and his death was reported minutes later at the community hospital of Pueblos del Rincón. 

Unofficially, it was said that the burial that was being performed, was of Bryan, a 16 year old minor, who was killed Saturday afternoon at a local cellular repair shop located in the downtown area.

Forensic experts performed their duties and the lifting of shell casings.

Local citizens experienced mass confusion. They were unable to determine any information on the culprits. Due to the attack in the downtown area against people alleged to be family members of the deceased.
