Puebla: Gang from Tecamachalco Behind Executions In Santiago Miahuatlán; Seeks To Extend It’s Area of action

The discovery of two bodies in less than 24 hours on the Cuacnopalan-Oaxaca super highway, near the municipality of Santiago Miahuatlán, was attributed to members of organized crime from Tecamachalco.

According to information from authorities in the Tehuacán and Santiago Miahuatlán region, foreign groups, from the heart of the Red Triangle, seek to expand are behind the execution of two people.

The findings of bodies on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November were taken as a warning by public security authorities, and they fear that they will try to enter the Tehuacán region starting with the neighboring municipality.

As PÁGINA NEGRA reported, during two consecutive days the bodies of two people were found in the municipality of Santiago Miahuatlán, adjacent to Tehuacán, Puebla.

The first was reported on the morning of Saturday, November 13, when a decapitated and dismembered body was found in the place called "Las Reginas", near the municipality of Santiago Miahuatlán.

The discovery occurred when citizens passing through the area noticed the remains of a dismembered man. The area was cordoned off and forensic and ministerial agents participated in the removal of the body.

The second discovery occurred on Sunday, November 14, in the same municipality, but now in the area of ​​the dam of the place “El Repartidor”. In this case, the body was found mutilated in its limbs, and it has not been identified either. The finding is also already under investigation by the State Attorney General's Office (FGE).

Despite the reading that the police authorities of the region have given as an entry of criminal gangs from Tecamachalco, the specific group of organized crime that is behind both executions is unknown.
