El Chapo Has Learned Of Ovidio’s Arrest

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

Video translation is as follows:

El Chapo Guzman's lawyer Maria Colon revealed whether or not the drug lord knew that his son Ovidio was in custody.

It was in this interview that the host Molusco did for his program Molusco TV on YouTube that Colon said that El Chapo must have known what was going on, the arrest of his son, because he had a television in his cell where there were Latin channels including Telemundo.

But not only that. He also asked the lawyer if she was not afraid to defend such a powerful drug trafficker. To which she answered no. Because El Chapo was always involved and well informed of how his case was being handled.

  1. Damn. That little dude has Telemundo in his cell? Shit don't sound too fucking bad if he's got that privilege. I'm beginning to think that federal time is seen as a joke for traffickers.

    1. I never realized ADX gave them tvs in their cells either…

    2. Federal prisons allow color tvs and some even allow them to purchase xbox or Playstations its a joke. Sex offenders are put in private yards with other molesters and it becomes a fiend fest. Some live better inside than outside. It’s bullshit and not many people know

    3. Some of them have small TVs that only show in black and white and from what I read the only TV channels they get are educational and religious but I could be wrong.

    4. I had 53 channels

    6. @1:43pm that's what I've understood too.

For newbie bb readers please know our Canadian prisons offer 'guests' spoon fed 24k gold leaf ice-cream, weekly RMT massages, plush cashmere prison attire and to prevent any sprained ankles in the dark inmates can from their bed can clap-on/clap-off their cell light.

    8. You should see the prisons in Italy.. and Sicily.

All let you out of your cell all day, and most have stoves inside each cell.. quite a few have their own vegetable and fruit gardens too, that the prisoners use to cook fresh foods!

    12. Put those motherfuckers in jail to work. Make them get up in the morning and work at least an eight hour shift of a job that blister their bitch ass hands like making concrete bricks or cleaning horse stables and shit-no pun intended.
Lazy ass punks in ADX and such prisons have never known what it's like to have responsibilities other than thinking what crap as in crime their are going to pull the next day.

    13. When locked up in Mexico during 1993, an informant said that Chapo would always have Cinderella played at the prison and they would all watch, while having popcorn….

No, I am not making up sh**

    14. ADX must be the only federal prison that allows inmates to have televisions in their cell . In the Feds you have them in your unit common areas and can tune your radio in to listen to which ones are hanging in the common areas . But as far as federal prisoners having little televisions in their cells like state prisons… it ain’t true. You get fed way better in the feds though . We got to go back for seconds on everything except the main course like fish, meat and chicken. ADX might be a little bit different seeing it’s regarded as the worst place you can possibly be sent in federal custody

    15. Y’all need to read boxers book. He talks about foos in the shu losing their minds because all they did is sit around in their cell watching tv. The idea sounds nice of a color tv in your cell. And if you been locked up in the feds where you don’t have one it sounds cool but if you fell into the trap of only doing that you would deteriorate mentally….

      Delete
    16. @8:20 — Boxer was not in ADX, or any Federal prison for the matter… Irrelevant.

    17. I don't think he has been there long enough to "earn" the black & white TV.
That's a minimum of 3 years straight. Even then, it only gets 3 channels.
One is described as a Nature Channel, the other religion and the 3rd is like PBS but cheaper.

  2. ADX is no joke. Its a slow, lonely death. They get TVs but they are not in color. He's watching Telemundo in black and white: https://solitarywatch.org/trouble-coming-every-day-adx-the-first-year/ I would not want to live the rest of my life watching black and white tv. If he acts up they take the tv away so he'd be sitting there 23 hours a day doing nothing except waiting for his next meal. Thats not a life.

You mentioned some prisoners have PlayStations. That's a good way to kill time, while having a life sentence. I would go crazy playing it 12 hours a day.

      Delete
    8. @9.20- Yeah man, you probably would go a bit crazy- but dulled and passive and childish and easier to handle too. It just makes things easier for the people who have to deal with them day in day out. And I will never break your underwear.

    2. Chapo won’t be there for life. Eventually they’ll transfer him out to a medium/ max like Atlanta somewhere. They have a classification system that has to do with offense committed/ time sentenced to / how much time you’ve done / a number of things go into your classification status. But he stays out of trouble they’ll transfer him out sooner or later.

      Smart Guy
The prison that Chapo is in is Modern and was not yet build, when Noriega was in prison , he was actually in another prison but good try.

    7. @ 3:28...King Blood from NY Latin Kings is not allowed any type of human contact or communication at ADX. He is a Cuban refugee a Marielito with no family in US. All his communications have to be through the court system. Huero Sherm is just on keep away status at ADX.

      Delete
    8. Huero is on more than keep away status… He has an escape attempt (Pelican Bay) and CO stabbings on his coat, with being green lighted by La Eme… That equals no human interaction or communications what so ever, I believe his attorney is the only one and even then, it takes an eternity Im sure… Not like it would mean anything, with two life sentences and all.

He was also caught multiple times organizing drug sales through his gang back home, so again, he is the only ADX prisoner — to this date — to have the most restrictions possible.

    9. What about that ab guy who killed the guard? Silverstein I think he is called thought that’s the guy that’s been in isolation the longest

      Delete
    10. @8:28 — He has long passed away… Wanna know a crazy story? There was a crisis at the prison he was in, in which a group of Cubans took all the guards and prison hostage… They actually let Siverstein out of his cell, his first time ever seeing other prisoners face to face, or even the mainline and anything outside of his cell…

He actually had the chance to murder a correctional officer again, but instead decided to save his life… Why?

The CO was the only guy he said who ever showed him respect and was kind to him.

It pays to be nice to others…

      Delete
    11. @8.51. That story is so overblown. He didn't ''save his life'' ffs. He just didn't murder him when he could have done. The Cubans weren't going to murder him either. You make not being a total psychopath sound like noble mercy.

  6. That’s about the only win IS has on the “war on drugs” so he will be used as an example (the only for sure) since they couldn’t get RCQ. Chapo will die in that prison, especially since his kids didn’t get better, they only got worse. So, he’ll pay for his kids’ bs.

    1. You mean when you were a Trustee ,(person with misdemeanor charges), is let to do washing of police cars, feeding the locked up prisoners, no pay but reports weekends to jail.

      Delete
    2. In the 90s the name was inmate worker (there was no trust). Washing cars was for Los Angeles County. As for chow you push the chow cart into the module let the race reps verify the count add extra meals for the workers. Weekenders would get only blues and only felons. You have a fuck up attorney if you get time for a misdemeanor. The only thing I got for time serve was 3% at 50.

I don't know because, I haven't committed no crime, in the 80s, I was a trustee (serve 8 weekends, DUI), Pasadena jail would have arrested people come in, all hours of the night. Two really stood out..guy in his 20s, brought in for rape of a 14.
Then a Security Guard stealing merchandise from the store he was to protect, then you hear the cops joking, he is supposed to be on our side.

  10. It's ironic how chapo basically worked for the US government but at the end they lock him up and blame him for all the dugs coming to the US.
Chapo, mayo, vicentillo and the rest of the cds were government informants that got privileges to transport millions/billions of drugs..

  14. They used to get black and white tv years back. Im pretty sure they switched it. From my understanding they have a kiosk in their wall that allows them to send kites, has radios stations, and tv. All in one. I was told this by a correctional officer who had transferred to Colorado State Penitentiary II (before they sent Guantanamo inmates there) and the CO told us that basically CSP2 was the same cell wise as ADX. He told us thats where the state prison got the idea of the kiosk and implemented it to this new facility. Matter of fact the system was so new and advanced for these cops we were able to make video calls from cell to cell before someone snitched and we got that shit shut down. So aside from heavier securIty im pretty sure them foos just chillin in there ordering books from the extensive library they have and watching tv. Prison systems have a real good library system from my experience. Also, around summer time being that its so close to a dairy farm from four mile correctional center it smells like cow shit bad like 3-4 months out the year because its right down the road. You got Territorial, Fremont, CSP 1&2, Centennial, four mile, arrowhead, skyline, USP Florence , and ADX Florence all within the same lil town basically. Its cold af in the winters and smells like shit in the summer. Good colorado rockies tap water though. That nice hard water that dries tf out ur back when you get out of the shower. He gets nice cold water out of his sink though. He prolly watches Despierta America after bfast, the during count time watches Hoy til lunch and after lunch hits the Rosa De Guadalupe until Gordo y la flaca comes on, and then primer impacto and then the novelas and calls it a night. I wonder if he watches the Chapo series they used to show episodes on Univision at like 1am.
