Zacatecas, ZAC: Caltrops Thrown In Front Of Metropol's Facilities

The Secretariat of Public Security is looking for the person responsible.

Video surveillance cameras were used to locate the responsible party.

This past Thursday, a subject threw tire spikes at the entrance of the Metropolitan Police facilities; the Secretary of Public Security is looking for the person responsible, no damage to any vehicle was reported.

Minutes before 8:00 a.m., a person riding a motorcycle on Avenida Universidad threw several caltrops at the entrance of the police station, the artifacts were located in a timely manner and removed before any vehicle was affected.

The Secretary of Public Security assured that in no way was this an attempt on his office's life. He pointed out that criminals continually try to damage the units to prevent their movement and mobility in the state so that they don't carry out their operations.

He added that by means of video surveillance cameras it was possible to locate the perpetrator and the type of vehicle he was traveling in, they are trying to find him in order to proceed in accordance with the law.
