Nochistlán, Zacatecas: CJNG Enforcers Hold An Entry Control Point

"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat

A group of hitmen, alleged members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), filmed themselves with a drone while they were in the vicinity of a gas station in Nochistlan, Zacatecas.

The images show a Improvised Armored Fighting Vehicle (IAFV) that has been captured on film elsewhere circulating in a convoy in the city of Apulco.

Throughout the duration of this broadcast several enforcers and their vehicles are positioned on a two lane road in what appears to be an Entry Control Point (ECP).

The sole purpose of an ECP is the visual monitoring of all moving traffick through the area. Each vehicle and its occupants seems to have been strategically positioned far away from each other.

It is this writer’s belief that this was done to avoid falling victim inside a kill radius should bombs rain down from an opposing drone in a potential aerial attack.

    1. Lol bro Sinaloa can’t beat CJNG. Sinaloa MZ got no other fronts while Cjng got like 7-12 fronts. Jalisco will win most of the state of Zacatecas except the border towns near Durango will remain MZ,

      This is traditionally Sinaloa territory.

    4. 11:06 cds is also fighting in sonora, jalisco, baja and chihuahua. And look at the latest Zacatecas maps CDS is slowly pushing south. use facts not feelings

    5. I am from this region. Jalisco controls up to a certain point. Most of that area starting with Teocaltiche is controlled by sinaloa. from Teocaltiche south it's controlled by Jalisco. The main reason for all the fighting in that area is because the roads that cross all these towns i mentioned from Yahualica Jalisco up north also lead to Aguascalientes, Zacatecas, and Guanajuato

    6. 11:06 cjng has multiple fronts, their people are spread all over the country fighting different cartel groups. Since Jalisco isn’t prioritizing taking down one at a time this can leave them vulnerable and too spread out on many fronts. Makes it easier for other groups to take advantage.

    7. 4:22 yep, but jalisco know what they are doing, they know Cds are not as big as a threat like their fake corridos say they are

      Delete
    8. 7:19 you cjng fans always talk about cds fake corridos how thats all they do is sound brave, but why do your cjng soldiers always post sinaloa music on their personal profiles, ive seen it on many when someone passes they post all sinaloa corridos. Or the cjng sicarios posted with guns put sinaloa corridos in the background. Bunch of hypocrites. Mejor no digan nada porque ya quisieran ser como sinaloa

    9. 2:06 yup cjng fanboys are so obviously jealous of the worldwide infamy sinaloa cartel has gained after the second escape and arrest of el chapo. sinaloa are the trend setters of Mexico and that hurts the Jaliscos and michoacanas to the core

      Delete
    10. 2:06 cause Cds corridos in reality talk about what CJNG does on a daily bases, Cds wish they could do what Cjng does, in other words those corridos fit CJNG better 😉

    13. 5:06 you realize how stupid you sound, cjng fans like you bash cds but your heroes are out there listening to sinaloa corridos in real life. They would be quick to flip to cds but since they live in a shithole area were they are forced to fight they have no option. Cjng gets whooped in every state they go in, they just have unlimited manpower because jalisco has alot of populated towns they recruit people also the other states they get people from. So they just keep sending guys to the states they fight in.

  3. This has been a hotly contested region for more than a decade. CDS has been in this region the longest even though a lot of families have been independent operators for decades. Most of the families are aligned with CDS.
This was a calm area until about 2010 after the death of Mario Gonzalez Sr. In about 2010 they started capturing meth labs with ton quantities of precursers and meth. There has been many seizures of major meth labs in Mexticacan, Nochistlan, Apulco and the surrounding area.
Over the years, this area has been contested by the Gulf Cartel, Zetas, CDN and CJNG. By and large, this area has remained predominently CDS until the incursion by CJNG. Now it appears to be split between CDS and CJNG. CJNG did drop leaflets from a plane in Teocaltiche a few months ago. Then they threatened Mario Gonzalez Jr., and most recently kidnapped the four workers who were installing or maintaining cameras in Apulco.
CJNG got into a confrontation with the National Guard last year in a rancho in the municipio of Teocaltiche and then later with CDS. It appears that CDS was pushing them out of Teocaltiche. Much of this has been reported on here in Borderlandbeat.
It doesn't appear that there has been much movement in this area in the last few months. Then again too, it is difficult to get an accurate assessment of what is occurring on the ground. It appears that both sides prefer not to have confrontations.
It's unknown why CJNG can be so blatant and thumb their nose at SEDENA and the National Guard. The National Guard is patrolling Apulco. The confrontation between the National Guard and CJNG last year appears to be when they were patrolling Apulco near the border with Toacaltiche. There aren't many reports of either cartel getting into confrontations with SEDENA or the National guard. It appears that SEDENA and the National Guard are favoring CDS. It also appears that neither SEDENA nor the National Guard are too enthused to engage the cartels. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a SEDENA commander on CDS payroll.
Despite last year's incursion by CJNG into Teocaltiche, the leaflets dropped from the plane and threats against Mario Gonzalez Jr., there doesn't seem to be any major confrontations between the cartels or the cartels and the military. It appears that they have reached a pax mafioso.

    1. It was a vds plaza but cjng got in that plaza a few years ago and cds can't take them out of there. From my understanding, Cjng has more pull than cds in zacatecas. There's videos of cjng capos getting pulled over drunk and speeding and let go by police once they find out who they are. More government pull too but most likely both cartels have that privilege from dirty and greedy government officials cops and Marina.
One thing is for sure, cjng is well entrenched in zacatecas plaza now and not even the so called boss of bosses AKA super capo MAYO can't do nothing to get rid of them.
MAYO'S flechas were no match for cjng sicarios and they don't make videos like in the beginning when flechas thought it was going to be an easy take over. Poor guys are just sent to the slaughter house blinded of that Meth rush and bravado with an a AK 47

    2. Cjng push from Teocalthiche is by la guardia national & military who are pro Sinaloa thanks to all the money that gets sen t their way. Even the governor of Jalisco is pro Sinaloa. If he knows a commander is pro cjng he has them exchanged for one that will be pro Sinaloa

      Delete
    3. 6:26 governor is with LA Corona and cjng. Not necessarily cds, they might be clicked up to go against cjng but they ain't cds.
Those governors are in it for the money and they get payments from anybody giving. In zacatecas it's clear the governor takes both sides and can care less who wins the fight as long as both keep giving millions to his greedy A$$.
Same with MOST states in Mexico

  4. Millions of gang members in america watching as America collapses and getting ready to openly control territory like Mexican cartels. The majority of Americans are very nervous or live in fear of their children assaulted or murdered in schools or themselves being the victim of robbery, home invasion, rape, violence or murder! Millions are fleeing high crime states and even America!

      >Where i live no one is fleeing< and how would you know that unless you out in the wilderness surrounded by your guns! Look, buddy, I stand by my statement that the majority of Americans are very nervous, paranoid or in fear of crime being inflicted on them or their family! Take a look around and put down the comic books and you will see America has taken a deep dive into rampant drug addiction, soft crime and violent crime! And it's no stopping it from increasing year after year until it becomes another Mexico, economically and criminally! The smart ones have left and many others are getting out ASAP!

    11. There's a large amount of Americans going to Mexico like never before. They buy houses or rent apartments and spike the cost of living in places like city of Mexico, Tijuana, jalisco guanajuato or Oaxaca. The US of A is nowhere near what it was decades ago. There's no certainty that it can withstand itself and everybody is scared of a hard inevitable recession. It started when President Obama went in Office. All the white people didn't like that haha
Now with the genius President Biden (Sarcasm) its even worse with people selling their homes and belongings and running south of the border

    5. 3:12 they also kicked the shit out of cds in colima, jalisco and Nayarit

      Delete
    6. Not really. Jalisco and Colima still have heavy presence. Csrdl is still active, not strong but active, and nueva plaza is still figting with mario gonzales jr at the helm. What jaliso did do is destroy zetas presence in the west but on cds budget so who do we really give that win to?

      Delete
    7. Damn. 8:21 hit it right on. Zetas did battle in Jalisco. CDS dispatched CJNG at the time called Mata Zetas. So that win goes to them as well. Don't mind me i hate all cartel activities as it's destroying what is really a beautiful country. But my family is from that region. And I can confirm the Los Altos region has been primarily CDS until recently. Still primary CDS but CJNG is gaining ground in that area

      Delete
    8. @8:21 Without Cholo flipping, Jalisco would've been 80-90%+/- controlled. He was accordingly dealt with.
Vaca "rebelled" in Colima and destabilized the control but ultimately where's he at?
These evolving dynamics can change perceptions and stability that allows contrarian groups to make inroads.
Can they sustain and maintain these gains or are they slowly but surely rendered ineffective?
      Time will tell...

  12. These dudes are protected from nochis to tepa. Was out there in March and they are periodically posted at the entrance to Nochis off highway 205. They don't mess with civilians or pochos like me. Went back in June and they were still out there so who knows how long prior to March have they been watching the entrance off highway 205. They must have several black armored escalades because they wrecked one when they were chased by the guardia nacional through yahualica a few months back. The video is on Narco Coyote news on YouTube. I also noticed they were walking around yahualica by la presidencia with their labeled bullet proof vest. You'll run in to them on all major roads but not on the major toll highways.

    1. I'm from the area. I can tell you it's been a shit show lately. Not in the actual town but in the surrounding area. Yahualica is key because of the roads that take you to one of four places. 1. Tepa 2. Ixlahuacan, 3. The road that takes you from las sierras into moyahua, Juchipila, Jalpa, and Villanueva. And 4 which might be the most important road. The road to Nochistlán, that can take you to Aguascalientes and Guanajuato as well.

      Delete
    2. @5:12 do you have any info on "La Troca/Troka" from Yahualica? He has several corridos by well known norteño groups.

    3. 5:12:
Can you still get to los Yugos and Canadas through the back road? It used to cross the river on a Mexican bridge. I heard that Acasica is under water so that route might not be available unless they built a new road.

  14. @11.06. So the more ''fronts'' you have the more likely you are to win a war? It doesn't usually work that way.
