SEDENA Assures That The CJNG Withdrew In Michoacán

"Guerrero" for Borderland Beat

Luis Cresencio Sandoval, Secretary of National Defense, reported that the criminal groups of the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel withdrew from the Tierra Caliente area in Michoacán after their actions to fight crime.

"We have 2,080 troops of the Army, 152 troops with the National Guard and six helicopters of the Mexican Air Force working in this entire area. With the actions that are being developed, it was possible that one of the criminal groups, the Jalisco Cartel retreated to within the State of Jalisco.

"We have a military presence in Los Horcones, Teloloapan and Colomotitán. It was important to have a military presence in these areas to force criminal groups to withdraw from that land," Sandoval said.

At the Michoacán Support Plan event, held in Morelia, the head of the Sedena recalled that these organized crime groups had taken control and unleashed violence in Aguililla, Tepalcatepec and Coalcomán

"What is the priority situation we have right now? Tepalcatepec is a situation that is linked to the presence of organized crime. These actions carried out by criminal groups, which is Aguililla, Tepalcatepec and Coalcomán, were affected.

"(The crime) limited vehicle movements, established checkpoints to prevent movement, ditches, and also forced the Aguililla population to carry out attacks against military personnel," he listed.

The Secretary of National Defense highlighted that in the projects of the National Guard commands the installation of three is planned, for the year 2022 and 2023, in Aguililla, Tepalcatepec and Cenobio Moreno with a total of 600 troops each.

"There are three considered in Tierra Caliente, in Tepalcatepec, Aguililla and Cenobio Moreno, these normal of the projects of the Guard are 120 men at company level. Here we are considering that we must incorporate a greater number of troops, raise them to battalion so that in each of these three places in Tierra Caliente 600 troops in each of the facilities ". he added.

  1. Interesting proposal and statements ensuring the success in Michoacan.
Reports still indicate the absence of law enforcement. Along with the basic & medical necessities being withheld to & from communities.

  2. This idiot is as corrupt as General cienfuegos or worse.
    They are all sellouts.
The governor and army are working with viagras and abuelo.
Amlo is to busy convincing people that the cartel violence is down and not to worry. Hugs for thugs.

  3. What the !*??! Sedena Assures that CJNG Withdrew from Michocan? 'Possibly' retreated back to Jalisco?! I'm dumbfounded by this level of denial and outright deceit.
Perhaps something, such as the truth, was lost in translation or I am woefully ill informed or behind on my Michocan reading. This is definitely a head scratcher of a statement...🐽giggle worthy🐽

    1. I noticed the same. The title is misleading. Doesn't match what is quoted. Only one way to find out what was really said and that is by watching the one and a half hour long meeting on AMLO'S YouTube channel. Unfiltered and unedited. Straight from the horses mouth, not a second hand source like la Jornada or El norte with its own agenda.

  6. Wow, some real incompetence on the media's part to publish this nonsense. No questions posed with no accountability for what's being published. Poor Mexican people

  7. This reminds me of the Stupid Nato press releases that we all know is bullshit. They are just hiding or chilling waiting for it to blow over so that the carnage can continue.

  10. There was a protest, a few weeks ago , at a Military base in Michoacan, the townspeople were fed up, that the military was doing nothing, to stop the cartels from tearing down the roads so no one can pass. The military were getting thier food helicoptered in, the people messed up the airfeild.
Then there was another incident, where CJNG was forcing families bout of thier homes, yes all in Michoacan. Now all of the sudden, out of nowhere, this Defense guy shows up at a conference.
Where the hell, was he back then?
I can smell a liar miles away.

  11. That wasn’t no regular townspeople that was Abuelos paid protesters to get military help to protect them.In Michoacán is cartel vs cartel expect one cartel is trying to get military to do there dirty work that’s the reason for the fake protest

    1. Then would you say secretary of national defense is a quack too.
He is stating he has Military all over Michoacan. I find that hard to digest, those tacos whitey Coyote makes, have given me indigestion.

    2. @745 I can't remember the exact number but under AMLO I wanna say there were something like 20 new military barracks built throughout Michoacan. I think throughout the country it's something like 250 new military barracks that will be built by the end of AMLO's term. If you find that information hard to digest then look it up and prove me otherwise.

      Delete
    3. 12:04 there we go with the barracks thing again, blind to what you don't want to hear.
What good are the barracks, if the soldiers are there playing cards, watching Novellas, and not out there, fighting the cartels.
Next you will be defending this lying General.😂

    4. 9:14 we've had this discussion several times. You claim the soldiers are lolligagging, I'm saying they hold back for several reasons. The difference is I've given you the reasons as to why they dont take action. All you have to say is AMLO is on the cartel payroll and he's inept but no proof to support your statements... You have to get out of your emotions and think logically. The military can not do it's job effectively because Michoacan is too volatile. On top of having had that shitty governor, how is the military going to fight the cartels when you have autodefensas driving around with AK's in the back of pick up trucks. Or you have the cartel disguised as Autodefensas? How do you think the public would react if the military mistakes the autodefensas for cartel members and massacres 20 men that looked like the bad guys but were really the good guys? I can already imagine what you're going to have to say about AMLO if that occurs. If the military doesn't do anything atleast you can't blame them for killing innocent people, the cartel of your choice can take the blame for that... we can go back 15 years of violence in Michoacan but I'd be wasting my time with you. You're so stuck on how bad AMLO is that you would disregard any facts or valid points that I bring up.

    5. 10:28 Defender of Almo.
You always talk good about the barracks, me and you know, effort by almost government to fight off Cartels is minimal. You already fabricated excuses not having Military in Michoacan. Intelligence gathering officers, can distinguish who is autodefensas and who are the cartels. You my friend have an excuse for everything.

      Delete
    6. 829 how easy would it be for the cartels to kidnap, torture and kill those "intelligence gathering officers" if it were as easy as you say it is to distinguish cartels from autodefensas then we wouldn't have this ongoing 15 year problem in Michoacan. You want to declare war but have never seen war first hand. You "my friend" are clueless. You live in a black and white world. Michoacan is a lot more complex then you make it seem.

      Delete
    7. 10:08 michoacan is only complex to someone who doesn't follow the bullshit these so called out defenzas do. First off, autodefenzas are not allowed to carry guns usd by the military. If the government really wanted to get rid of them they would.
AMLO could care less of what is going on in michoacan or even zacatecas.
AMLO has no balls and won't ever go after them,@ if anything I won't be surprised after he gets out from office and they have testimony on how MAYO,CHAPITOS or mencho gave him hush money to look the other way.
He has the audacity to Go in front of a Camara and say there is no cartel problem in Mexico.
AMLO is just onother narco president just like the ones before him.

I can pull up 10 links for 10 different speeches made by this General. La neta, mejor informate antes de que me respondas.
