"Sol Prendido" for Borderland Beat
The prosecutor for the western zone, Jesús Manuel Carrasco Chacón, reported that at the time of the massacre of 9 people yesterday, they were celebrating Brayan Gonzalo's 18th birthday.
The young man died after the attack that occurred in the
address on Calle 9a between Avenida Jalisco and Avenida Nayarit, where a meal was being held to celebrate Brayan's birthday.
According to the Prosecutor’s official release, an armed criminal cell arrived at said place and asked about the "sale of crystal meth", and loaded their weapons to kill these 9 young people.
He further reported that some of the men were bricklayers, while others were day laborers and food service workers.

ReplyDeleteUpdate: I talked to a friend from cuah. He told me 3 trucks full of sicarios arrived to get a small time drug dealer but everyone else was there at the wrong time. The convoy picked them up and loaded them to a truck and took them to another spot where they were killed. Apparently the house where they were celebrating, it was used too sell meth and too store arsenals. The party was all males aswell so that seems sketchy. Maybe they were all innocents but one or they were all malandros taking a day off but in Mexico you will never get the truth
ReplyDeleteHey Chino, the Reporte article Sol covered seems to suggest the men were found deceased at one of their own homes but El Heraldo is reporting they were kidnapped and executed/found at a secondary location that was not one of their homes. It sounds like your friend agrees with the El Heraldo version of events more right?
