'Los Durangos' send threats to Caro Quintero's group via videos

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat TY Gus   Diario

A video circulates where narcos who call themselves Los Durango or Jinetes de la Muerte exhibited themselves on social networks displaying their powerful arsenal as they walk through the limits of the states of Sonora and Durango in Mexico and launch a threat to the group allegedly headed by Rafael Caro Quintero, alias el Narco de Narcos.

Later in the video, they exit  the truck and once again show off their weapons, ready to shoot, all this while listening to a narcocorrido.

While in another video, which everything indicates was taken from a live broadcast, the alleged leader of said criminal cell launches a threat:

“We are not going to leave until the town is cleansed, (…) all those who have been causing harm to people who live their life doing good, people who work, Just as they killed the footballer, also when they have gone to collect piso they have killed  innocents, the people in the restaurant,  people that have done nothing to you.”

Video #2 translation is as follows:

Sicario #1: We’re not going to leave this town until it’s free of that gang of ratchet ass people. They’re all with Dario, El Yuka...

Hitman # 2: Abel.

Sicario #1: El 04, Abel, as well as that whole gang of faggots that are there with them.

Sicario #2: El Tico also. All those who have been in favor of causing harm against everyone who dedicates themselves to only doing everything good, citizens who work. Just like when you guys screwed up and killed El Futbolista Also, whenever you’ve gone out to charge a taxation and have fucked up by killing innocents and all that. That shit is wrong. Sicario #1: Just as well with the accountant from that restaurant. Those are citizens who didn’t even bother you.

Sicario #2: They don’t even bother you.

Sicario #1: If you’re going to go into Altar (Altar, Sonora). Then you’re going to have to kill everyone in Altar. You fool this problem that you have is only against us.

Sicario #2: Buddy, the people will be respected. Don’t think that because you have the surname of a big shot family (Caro Quintero) as you like to claim, I don’t know what you call that, gives you the right to fuck up. You don’t necessarily have to have a big shot last name to be humble, or intelligent to do things. You guys need to fucking learn. That the only people who are to be killed here are the ones who are actually guilty. You’re all hearing a greeting on behalf of my brother El Grocio. What would you like to declare to the public my brother?

Sicario #3:Well, not much. Really not much. We want a confrontation with something. But this town is too desolate. We didn’t think it was going to end up empty so quickly.

Sicario #4:Let everyone also know about what all is being said on the news... Sicario #2: Also, you’re always using the fucking...

Sicario #3: Stop using the government to help you out. Let’s just confront each other properly. So that all the citizens can live in peace.

Sicario #2: They say there’s freedom of speech. Well then... – Translation by Sol Prendido

  1. Hey Chivis, do you have any idea who seems to be winning in this conflict? I would address it to the forum at large but every cartel nut hugger will only give a response that suits them. Thank you.

    1. I think it’s far too early to tell... And how we will ever completely know is a subject up to debate.

      Whoever technically “won” Juarez?

      Whoever won Michoacan?

Is there a group that dominates the Gulf of Mexico today, specifically Tamaulipas?

  2. Dude. Wth does Caro Quintero think? He was put away for 20yrs. Why Sonora? That territory has been for the most part loyal to MZ and CHAPO.

Why didn't Caro Quintero think of regaining Guadalajara back? That was his cartel name and historically his plaza.
El miedo no anda en burro, he probably thought chapitos were gonna be easy to bully and that groups would flip on them. He was terribly wrong.

    1. You know nothing new school. Narcos didn't start in the 80's.

    2. Historically Caro Quinteros plaza has always been Sonora Caborca to be more specific. His cartel back then wasn’t called Cartel de Sonora for no reason . Los Salazar have owned the plaza for a long time now and are heavy hitters but so is Caro Quintero its gonna be a tough one . Los salazars haven’t had anyone seriously challenge them in a long Time since they basically run the state . But for Caro to openly challenge them must mean he’s got some serious power, just to maintain a war with these guys that shows Caro stilll has major pull

    3. Caborca was rcq decades ago. Wonder if altar too. When he was on he’s peak as a drug lord, wonder if it was just caborca on his power, or altar, y sonoyta too, makes a lot of people wonder

    4. Caborca has been his plaza since the 70s and since he was released from prison has reclaimed it. He wasn't going to ask for permission or pay plaza to JAGL, MIZG, the chapitos or anybody to start working again; jajajaja! GDL only came into play when operación Cóndor flushed the narcos out of Sinaloa and you must not pay attention to notice the alignments and alliances...mas sabe el diablo por viejo que por diablo

    5. Actually. Sonora was originally his/his family’s. Miguel Caro Quintero founded the Sonora Cartel that was later absorbed into Sinaloa.

    6. You are forgetting that Rafa’s brother, Miguel, ran Sonora for decades..and that both he and Rafa are currently out of prison today...

    7. 10:05 Caro and his brother Miguel headed the Sonora Cartel. Does that answer your question.

    8. Cartel de Guadalajara was Felix Gallardo´s, he was THE boss, Sonora was and in part is Caro Quinteros plaza, proof of that is he still had people working in Caborca, Altar and most of the desert all those years later.

      Delete
    9. He stayed 20years in Mx jail and went out the front door.
What ever he forget about the business, los chapitos haven’t heard of it.
And btw I thought Sonora made him a big player, je has his roots there.

    11. 6:06 obviously with all his "expeirience" he doesnt have control of it. Dont be naive and ignorant.

    12. Sonora cartel was Miguel Caros, rafa helped create the Guadalajara cartel witch he belonged too, along with miguel angel Gallardo.

      The business has evolved.
Los menores can careless about Rafas history and past, Sonora has been mz/chapo for the past 2 decades. Regaining the desert is gonna be uphill battle for RCQ.

Seems like Rodrigo paez got a little brazen after Rafas return, nobody had heard of him making a run for the plaza beforehand. Let's see how long they last. And even if rafa had people working while he was in jail, none of them were openly loyal to him, they still flew CDS/chapo banner.

Look how sajid Quintero had it. He was openly being hunted by CDS.

    13. Fighting for Guadalajara would be the dumbest mistake RCQ could make right now. He doesn’t want mencho on his back, as of now mencho probably appreciates him causing trouble in the chapitos territory. He needs to focus on Sonora, which I still think the chapitos will retain anyway. If the BLO in their prime couldn’t keep the plaza from salazares/chapos I doubt anyone can take it from them now.

    14. @7:13 Y también se dice que al contrario, Caro jala con CJNG ya que el CJNG representa los intereses de Miguel Gallardo pero más que nada del PRI amigo (de la rata mayor).

    15. Caro probably gana win he has old school Colombian connects and since chapos and cjng want Guerrero I’m sure familia and viagras are with caro cause cjng wants Guerrero and Michoacan. If caro Gas sonora and Guerrero and Michoacan dudes gana have open border from south and north

      Delete
    16. Amigo, if RCQ don't seek peace, he's magnifying his already negative situation. Chapitos are not gonna relinquish their territory. They've already established themselves they're too deep. I am not going to say that Quintero's aren't strong, I'm saying it's very bad for business, when you already got a target on your head. But make no mistake, the American government does not want rcq on American soil. Even though they claim that they do. They would much rather see him dead. He knows too much. The other side of it is, Ivan is a very big fish. And he is very powerful. And they've got huge money behind them. Not to mention government. The smart thing to do, it's go to the bargaining table.

    3. This guy they took out the Zetas when they were in there prime . Durango has survived many wars , this war has nothing to do with Durango though it’s in Sonora . The reason why Durango is being brought up is because the leader for CDS has the nickname el Durango but the war itself is in Sonora . I’m sure Caro Quintero has a lot of people working for him that are from Durango too

    4. Los Durangos is Jose biviano's group,
That operates out of Sonora. Loyal to noveno/cazador/CDS.
They dont operate directly out of Durango the state. @10:31

    8. Thanks to El Ondeado, Los Cabrera, Los Números y La NEA Durango was free of “Z”. And plus these videos were recorded in Sonora. El Durango es gente del Noveno.

    9. Durango was one of the few states that completely eliminated the Zetas. And they didn’t fight there way in a lot of people from Juarez and Beltránes brought them in. They have fosas full of Z. Kidnappings and extortions stopped once they got kicked out. Now everything’s calm and quiet how it should be.

That’s why all those states gotta cross their bullshit thru Laredo and reynosa cuz the weed on this side is SUPERIOR and that brown flat nasty bullshit can’t compete.

  4. The last video really pissed me off, it’s the typical bullshit of oh we’re here to protect you and this and that fuck out of here. They should go and say that to the people of La Primavera and it’s surrounding areas that are having to deal with land seizures by them.

  5. They are people of El Noveno or El Cazador, that's why there's a nine on that truck.

  6. It’s caborca vs altar,,, altar don’t seem to have problems with Mayo because otherwise they will be gettin hit from Magdalena/Santa Ana area. A war is costly and draws attention. Why don’t they stick to their areas? Or share strategic areas with common interests? These goes deeper. Magdalena only was the novenos for a little til Mayos people got them out. And send them back to altar. Sonora hot spot was Obregón, now all this desert area of sonora. This will end up with either being ok with each other or a complete bloodshed

    ReplyDelete
  7. People of El Durango, right hand man of El Noveno. They are from Altar and fight the Caborca plaza for Chapitos vs RCQ.

  16. What are the chances the guy in the top pic has ever used those hard knuckle tactical gloves on anyone? Anyone with a decent upper body strength can really stun the shit out of an opponent’s face with these. There’s that high probability these come into play on their live captures right before the filming begins.
