"El Mayo" of La Linea is one of 3 Arrested Tied to the Ambush of the LeBarón Family

Yaqui for Borderland Beat from: RadioFormula y Universal y Excelsior

3 arrested linked to the murder of the LeBarón family. The arrest occurred early today this Sunday, December 1 in Bavispe, Sonora. The multihomicide was carried out a few weeks ago in the limits of Chihuahua and Sonora.

Some media outlets such as El Universal reported the arrest of three people linked to the killing of three women and nine children of the LeBarón family. El Universal details that the arrest occurred at dawn on Sunday, December 1, when federal forces completed a search warrant obtained by a federal judge.
Already an Update: With naval intelligence work, elements of the Special Operations Unit (UNOPES) of the Mexican Navy, arrested Mario “H”, aka "El Mayo" , head of Plaza de la Línea in Janos Chihuahua.

According to sources from the Federal Government, "El Mayo" , a member of the criminal organization of the Line, armed arm of the so-called New Cartel of Juárez (NCDJ), is likely responsible for the murder of 12 members of the LeBarón colony on November 4 in Bavispe, Sonora.

With the arrest warrant issued by a control judge, the elements of the Infantry of the Mexican Navy, stopped yesterday afternoon at  "El Mayo" , head of Plaza de la Linea, without making a single shot.

The newspaper notes that after the arrest of an alleged suspect last month, federal authorities have been obtaining key information.

According to the first reports, the arrest was made thanks to the joint actions of the Attorney General's Office (FGR), the Navy, the National Guard and the National Intelligence Center.

  1. Is Ncdj advancing to agua prieta still? They entered because of Tolteca which seems he still on the run

  2. Linea needs to stay to the agreement of only staying and controlling Chihuahua. They are gaining power and used the threat of Sonora to break the agreement. And the agreement was inside between members of La Linea. That’s why there’s infighting now in Juarez. Everyone agreed to take Chihuahuas and nothing more. Many high level members of La Linea are upset with the decision to go into Sonora and most off all the outcome of it. This was a terrible decision. The cells that decided to do this with out approval of the council will be punished.
    And rightfully so.

    1. This still could've been Cds that did this massacre, they just caught a couple Linieros and assumed they are responsible, bavispe is cds turf they control everything there and they could make everything go their way

  4. Is there still BLO presence in Sonora? It seems like a decade ago they had taken most of Sonora, but since Sonora is just like Durango (CDS nuthuggers) my guess is not anymore.

Paying a little more the Cartel feels empowered with no law enforcement. Before I cross cars I go to the Cartel pay them. Mexican Custom doesn't regulate the frontera.

    4. most likey there won't be but there def should be, you have no idea how fast the us govt. would locate these assholes in convoys of 30+ trucks up in the sierra madre and in the desert, etc. they would easily blow these fuckers up with drone strikes not to say some of those idiots be giving up their locations themselves by posting up all their fuckery on their facebooks LOL

    5. The usa killed bin laden theat isis asshole last month so dont think its not possible. As an american we cant have some terroristic cartels be more powerful than our goverment neighbor next door. And to be honest the usa wldnt even need mexicos permission. And on top of all that. The regular average none criminal mexican wld wlcome the usa help with open hands. Theyre tired of their goverment being punked by criminals. Ppl got tired of Amlo quick.

    6. apparently the "regular mexicans" in law enforcement in mexico are not pissed off enough about "regular mexicans" being killed to do anything about it. i'm sure the "Americans" killed in mexico would rather not have been killed.

    7. Once ur labeled a terrorist, it's a wrap. The US has killed "labeled" terrorists all over the world without permission. What's AMLO gonna do? Face tariffs, try and stop the US military? Doubt it. Just like trump said, it'll be done quietly and efficiently. Funny how all the latest atrocities have been headline news in the US lately.

    1. I read on another "unverified" site that El Mayo Zambada was not happy about this happening in an area he largely controls and that he had called for the heads of those responsible. They might have gotten lucky getting caught. I imagine prison will be much more pleasant than any retribution the cartel had planned for them. Like I said though that was on another site so I'm not sure about the validity of the story.

  19. Why are these low level coked-out sicarios being released? I understand mid level or bosses with clout who have ability to corrupt the system, but these pieces of sh*t who run around causing chaos? Why let them go? Extra judicial killings seem more appropriate than that. I thought the strategy now is to round up nobodies and insurgents and leave major traffickers who move weight quietly alone to restore peace

    1. No, it's not coming. The Zetas killed a federal United States agent in Mexico a few years ago and the USA backed away, they did nothing of that sort.

    2. 10:21 Do you happen to have any links about the federal agent killed a few years ago? Sounds very out of character for the US since they are still actively trying to extradited Caro Quintero and he has a 20 million bounty on his head for killing a DEA agent almost 35 years ago. I'd be curious to read about the circumstances of this newer murder. Thanks

    2. 10:52 is correct, by the way remember when cds had people working in their fields in chihuahua for like 2 or 3 years? Well actually they were been forced to work like slaves literally, what you call that? Cds are trash always blaming shit on others, remember what chapo thought them (SNITCH)!!!

    3. From personal experience I can tell you that los linieros mugrosos killed neighbors of ours in Cuauhtemoc 6yrs ago.. a 72yr old woman and her husband decapitated because La Linia was too scared to go look for their son which was living in Bachiniva and was supposedly working for el Flaco Salgueiro .. they were too chicken shit to confront an armed group so they took it out on the two old folks that had nothing to do with anything .. so YES I do believe linieros would do some low shit like this .. keep idolizing those sick minded linieros! It’s no wonder that people in Madera and the rest of the Sierra were supporting CDS
