Cartel de Sinaloa: "Trump Will Never Win This Fight..."

“Trump will never win the fight”: what 'El Chapito' said following other cartel leaders interviewed by the media

The most wanted Mexican narcos left their lairs to answer a rosary of questions asked by journalists, including actors. Although some only allowed notes to be taken, others accepted to be videotaped. A son of ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán spoke with a Belgian magazine a year ago.

There is a saying that warns: a known boss is a dead boss. But some leaders of Mexican cartels have made exceptions in recent years to “confess” to the media. They have shown their faces trying to legitimize the activities of their organizations, to complain about the "betrayals" from the government, to implore them to stop persecuting them and also while seeking notoriety.

One of those who recently agreed to be interviewed is Iván Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, one of the sons of Joaquín ‘El Chapo’ Guzmán, former head of the Sinaloa cartel. ‘El Chapito’ and his three brothers, including Ovidio Guzmán López, remained at the head of the faction of the cartel inherited from their father, who since July is serving a life sentence in the safest federal prison in the United States.

Guzmán Salazar, on the list of the most wanted drug traffickers by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), answered the questions of a collaborator from the Belgian magazine Knack, who published the report in March 2018. The 39-year-old boss talked about an alleged betrayal that the Mexican government made to his father, he distanced himself away from the death of six soldiers and said he is not hungry for power.

“My father had placed his trust in the hands of the Mexican government and they handed him over to the Americans as a trophy. I will never forgive them for that, ”he told the same media and described politicians as“ the most legitimate mafia, ”because they only use their positions for their own benefit.
“I don't have the ambition to be important and I don't feel at all important. If I went and had a lot of power, would I have to hide constantly? ”Asked the son of El Chapo’, who took the opportunity to distance himself from an attack in which six soldiers died in 2016.

“In the last few days, many people in my organization have been killed by these accusations. I find it unfair. The government knows I didn't do that, ”said one of the youngest chiefs of the cartel.

Against him weighs an accusation brought forth in a San Diego court. They implicated him in a current operation that, in complicity with more than 100 people, has imported huge shipments of drugs into California. But this fugitive who does not hesitate to show his eccentric lifestyle on social networks said he is not willing to have his arm twisted.

Donald Trump will never win the fight against us. We are much stronger than him. If the Americans began to attack the cartels in their own country, of course they will do everything possible not to shoot themselves in their foot. They focus on Latin America to divert attention, ”said Guzmán Salazar.

‘El Chapo’ in Rolling Stone magazine

"The day I cease to exist will not reduce drug trafficking, that is false. Drug trafficking is already a culture that comes from ancestors not only in Mexico, this is worldwide," El Chapo Guzmán said in his nasal voice, who was then the most wanted criminal in the world.

From somewhere in the mountains in the so-called Golden Triangle, his territory, ‘El Chapo’ reflected in front of a boy who threw questions at him holding a cell phone. He responded with his simple speech, typical of the Sinaloa ranchers. This video recording published by Rolling Stone magazine happened shortly before he was recaptured for the third time in January 2016.

It was 17 minutes in which Guzmán talked about his early years selling oranges in his hometown of La Tuna, in Sinaloa; his relationship with his family who are also involved in drug smuggling; his days being a “happy” fugitive after escaping from a maximum security prison in 2015; and about his prolific business that for four years placed him among the richest in the world

  1. I'm surprised that El Mayo agreed to an interview way back when given how isolated he tends to be otherwise.

    1. In that article you have to rest between the lines. It was around the time Vicente was sent to the USA. It was his message to the USA that he was willing to play ball in order to save his son from a life sentence.

    2. He agreed to the interview, because he knows he has the power and in charge of Mexico. Trump will not come to Mexico. By the way Amlo is the spokesman for the cartels.

    3. In charge of Mexico? Really? The whole thing? No seas mamon hijo! If he was in charge his sons wouldn’t be locked up in the U S of A! Tu mayo ya tiene Alzheimer’s, acaba de cumplir como 130 años 😂

    4. Mayo is more powerful and smarter than you think. Yes his sons are in jail but within 3-5 yrs they will all have served their time and be clean of warrants to live in the US and spend daddy's money(some under witness protection). he is setting them up so they can retire from that lifestyle... if they are smart enough to stay away..

  2. they say that because they know that they're boss AMLO wont let trump get close to them..

  3. 7:50 mostly right. However the pressure on the socialist/pacifist president is increasing. His hugs not war idiocy is wearing thin.
Every day Mexicans will (or have) lost faith and what little ego he has doesn't want to be remembered as the cartel biatch.

    2. @11:31 and @8:55 How would either one of you guys handle the violence and crimes in mexico. What qualifies you two to take on the job as mexican president, or governor of whatever Mexican state your parents turned their backs on. Please enlighten us since you guys feel like you can criticize without giving us a solution.

    3. Apparently Ivan didn't learn that much from his father. He should shut his mouth, keep his head low and not challenge the President of the United States. Everyone hates Trump but if he wanted to he could send in Delta Force to wipe out their whole clan. The most powerful military in the world compared to elements within a third world nation? It's ludicrous, a wise man knows his limitations.

  4. Los carteleros sostienen un gran hacha sobre la cabeza de gobernación. Si los sicarios van a Cancún o San Lucas y matan a una masa de turistas con ametralladoras, significaría el fin del turismo y el colapso del gobierno.

  5. Its Mexico's problem. They set this stage for the cartels. What response AMLO or poetic words given will not change anything.
Drugs will be consumed and killings will continue. The drug trade is a very lucrative business.

  6. I think these Narcos underestimate Trump’s ego lmao. Do these schlomos really think they have more power than the American government? CIA is the biggest cartel in the world. These plebs wouldn’t stand a chance if they CIA ever turned their back on them.

    3. C.I.A can overthrow AMLO and put a military General in charge or their puppet of choice. Not an option right now because of uncertain outcome an its near proximity to U.S. Spooks are everywhere.

    4. @2:53 PM The CIA both outsources and performs any of the activities you just mentioned in your comment. I'm not sure about the stealing cars part but the end justifies the means.

  7. Chapito clearly meant, trump will never win this fight as cartels will always be around.
Just like the "most powerful druglord chapos" capture didn't diminish crime, drug trafficking or consumption. But offvourse BB like stirring the pot.

  8. Will the US eliminate the cartels overnight? No, it will take years but the US Government recently cut the head off of ISIS and reduced a once powerful terror cell into nothing.

You can talk big when the government is shielding you, but if one day they decide to let the USA do what it does best, you will rue the day.

    3. You are correct on the US playing a direct and deliberate role in the creation of ISIS. Collusion has also existed between the USG and cartels.

    4. Yea right. These fucks are uneducated lenses. They wouldn't be ready if the U.S was there. They would be begging for some free money and a job.

You will never win this war. Your Father will die in Admax USP. You will die in Admax USP. Your sons will die on the streets or in US Federal prisons.

Don't get too cute their buddy. Take some notes from the Humble farmer Senior Zambada.

Even when he did his interview he plaid the Humble farmer roots thing to the hilt....
