The Children of "El Chapo" Guzman Created a Business Network

Yaqui for Borderland Beat from: Informador y RadioFormula
The children of the drug dealer founded companies in the real estate, pharmaceutical, medical services, school and office supplies, as well as fashion.

For more than a decade, the sons of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán , former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel - who faced federal forces last week to free one of the heir to the capo, Ovid Guzmán - operated a network of companies in the real estate, pharmaceutical, medical services, school supplies and office sectors, as well as in fashion.

The eldest children of Guzmán Loera's first marriage, with María Alejandrina Salazar Hernández, Alejandrina Gisselle and César, created Specialized Services in Cegival Vaccination in 2007 and in 2009 JDOBLECG Construcciones, in Jalisco.

Trade and brand registrations, which El Universal obtained, indicate that in 2000 they also took over the company of their maternal family, Gissell School and Office Items. The three firms were liquidated in 2012, when the first and second wives of Guzmán Loera, Salazar Hernández and Griselda López Pérez, entered the black list of the US Treasury.

The company Don Archi, SA de CV, opened in Dec 2018 and which manages the brands El Chapo.701 and  Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, which is still active, but Guzmán Loera's children do not appear as shareholders.

However, the two brands, as well as the name and nickname of Guzmán Loera - since 2010, according to the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property - in various modalities, as well as the image of the face and various logos, are owned by Alejandrina Gisselle.

Businesses have been carried out in Guadalajara, Zapopan and Puerto Vallarta in Jalisco.

Alejandrina and Cesar, children of “El Chapo” who tried not to follow in their father's footsteps:
The eldest daughter of the former leader of the Sinaloa Cartel is a medical surgeon graduated in 2005 from the University of Guadalajara and was a majority partner of Specialized Services in Vaccination, Cegival, SA de CV, in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, founded in 2007. The company had as objectives marketing of medicines and cosmetics; stem cell collection, blood bank and distribution of implants and prostheses. However, it was only 5 years open and in 2012 closed for liquidation.

Meanwhile, César Guzmán entered the real estate sector in 2009 with JDOBLECG Construcciones, SA de CV, of which he was a partner with 80% of the shares of the company, which was registered in the city of Guadalajara, but was based in Zapopan, Jalisco.

In addition, the oldest company was part of Gissell Articles Escolares y de Oficina , SA de CV, since it was founded in 1990 by structure 7016 by members of the maternal family of César and Alejandrina  Gisselle , and was registered with the public registry of the city from Guadalajara until 2000, the year in which the children of “El Chapo” remained 50 percent as partners.

In 2012 , Alejandrina tried to enter the United States, in an advanced state of pregnancy through the pedestrian crossing between Tijuana and San Ysidro with a false passport and visa . Therefore, on October 12 of that year she was prosecuted in San Diego, accused of six counts of fraud and false statements to federal officials.

In July of that same year, she returned to business and launched a fashion line in homage to her father, through the brand " El Chapo 701 ".

However, the two brands, as well as the name and nickname of Guzmán Loera - since 2010, according to the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property - in various modalities, as well as the image of the face and various logos, are owned by Alejandrina Gisselle.

  6. That's really cool his oldest daughter has her stuff together. A medical surgeon...? That's super badass to hear when any Mexicanos are on top of their game like that. We always get talked about and called drug dealers, drunks and all other negative things etc.... it's always nice to hear when we see one of our people make something of themselves. Legit. much love and respect from Wichita Ks.
