Chihuahua: ''El Jaguar" of Gente Nueva Thought to have Died in Confrontation of Rival Groups

Yaqui for Borderland Beat from: ElDiario y El Heraldo
Francisco Arvizu, "El Jaguar", CDS, Gente Nueva
There were between 50 and 60 units with armed people, as reported to the emergency systems, who, by the way, did not respond at the time of the clash between rival groups of La Linea and "El Jaguar".

Recall that Francisco Arvizu , alias “ El Jaguar ”, has been identified as head of the Plaza del Gente Nueva and the Sinaloa Cartel in the municipalities of Cuauhtémoc and Madera , both located in the border state of Chihuahua.

The confrontation between groups of criminals at Rancho Las Pomas left people without life and the fearful community requesting help from the authorities. The armed groups burned vehicles and houses. The large number of armed civilians identified themselves as part of the "La Línea" group, and with megaphones they toured the area announcing that they would take control of the place.

The incident occurred around 5pm, on the road of the community of Ejido El Largo Madera.

The gun battle took place among members of the antagonistic groups of organized crime, one of them led by "El Jaguar."  It is known that there are at least 2 deceased and more possible wounded; "El Jaguar" was reportedly killed, but this is not officially confirmed.  In addition, houses were burned by criminals terrorizing the residents.
A convoy of 50 - 60 VEHICLES carrying armed people arrived near 5 pm yesterday
The image of a man, lifeless, bloody and with at least one shot in the head has begun to circulate in social networks, where those who spread it claim that it is the criminal leader Francisco Arvizu, aka "El Jaguar", who was killed in the confrontation that took place yesterday in Las Pomas, Municipality of Madera.

The man whose characteristics correspond to a young man, wears black pants, dark shirt with white stripes. His body is in the middle of a pool of blood on what appears to be a neighborhood dirt road. However, the Prosecutor's Office has not yet officially determined the identity of the victims.

Francisco Arvizu,  "El Jaguar", linked to the Sinaloa Cartel, Gente Nueva, has maintained control over the western part of the state, mainly in the municipalities of Madera, Ignacio Zaragoza and Gómez Farías.

The fight for control of that region, against the new Juarez Cartel, has left more than 60 dead in less than two years.
Last August in Madera, an 18-year-old woman was identified as Magdalena “N”, alias “La Güera”, whom the authorities pointed out as the drug partner's partner. The woman was arrested in a joint operation carried out by elements of the State Security Commission (CES), the Ministry of National Defense, the Federal Police and the National Guard.
The Attorney General of the State (FGE) West Zone confirmed this morning the confrontation between drug traffickers with at least two dead, seven incinerated vehicles and with bullet impacts.

People from the ejido stressed that alleged members of La Línea Group, armed wing of the Juarez Cartel, have returned to the area, and added to the deprivation of freedom of some people, a situation that officially has not been confirmed.

The alleged death of Francisco Arvizu aka “El Jaguar”, leader of the group that is part of the Sinaloa Cartel, has not been officially confirmed but the Office of the Prosecutor stated that there were two bodies found so far.

During the brawl last night the calls for help from the population were not answered by the authorities of the three levels of government,  today, the operational review continues in place to offer the population some guarantees of security.
Backround:
Five drug cartels fight control of the border state of Chihuahua in Mexico

The organization of "Gente Nueva", "Los Mexicles", "La Línea", "Los Aztecas", and "Los Cristaleros", are the five criminal groups that already operate in various areas of the state of Chihuahua.

Mexican border entity that is one of the most "longed for" by drug cartels due to its proximity to the United States, the largest drug consumption market in the world, According to information released by the news site the Sun of Chihuahua , these groups share the territory in the middle of a fragile calm.

They are also under the stalking of the "Jalisco New Generation Cartel" which, unlike all other criminal groups, has failed to establish itself in a "formal" manner. It is known that the "Sinaloa Cartel" operates in the area under the pseudonym of "Gente Nueva", under the leadership of Francisco Arvizu Márquez, alias "El Jaguar".

While "Los Mexicles", they are also related to the "Sinaloa Cartel" because they are located as their armed wing in that state, according to reports they would be in charge of a subject identified as Luis Santiago, "El Miclo".

In the case of the "Juarez Cartel" they operate under the name of "La Linea", which apparently has no visible leaders after the arrest (on May 17, 2018 in Namiquipa, Chihuahua) of Carlos Arturo Quintana ,"El 80" , so according to media, it operates with constantly moving cells.

"Los Aztecas", are identified as other of the most dangerous, because at one time they operated as an armed arm of the "Juarez Cartel".

The last criminal group that is registered is "Los Cristaleros", which is independent of the historical cartels, and the one that apparently sells drugs in the capital city of Chihuahua. Source

Hopefully, we will get confirmation and identification of the two dead men.

  3. If it is Jaguar that died GN are 90 percent destroyed in the state. The remaining 10 percent will operate mostly in Parral and scattered around Chihuahua.
If La Linea strenghtens no way Jalisco will enter no matter how hard it tries unless it allies itself with Sinaloa like pussies.

    2. If you're a mafioso from another state would you prefer to move weight, get paid and not be in constant fighting or try to corner a local market(cities in Chihuahua) that has different criminals fighting for local sales? Remember not too long ago meth was prohibited by the stronger mafia from being sold, it seems that is not the case any more. Do you cede that income to your competition?

    4. For 30 to 60 vehicles, two dead seems like targeted executions, and the only one that could have snitched is la guera, under arrest of "the military, Comision estatal, Mando Unico, and the National Guard", the have experts in exacting confessions.

  4. La Linea would have been stronger with Aztecas had they not betrayed these. Aztecas were taking care of Juarez while Linea would have wiped out GN/CDS out of the state a year or more ago because of this.
Fuckin Linea can't really be trusted but needless to say they give a hell of a battle to anyone as evidenced by these and other stories.
It is the third largest cartel in Mexico after CDS and Jalisco even though they own only one state. Guess that's all it takes.

    2. We’re not talking about Just any state .. this is Chihuahua we’re talking about, the largest state in the nation, the state with the longest border with US, the largest and deepest Sierras in Mexico, neighbor to Sinaloa and centered right in the middle of the US/Mexico border where one can easily go to Houston as to Phoenix and LA in less than half a day, this particular state is home to Juarez one of the most if not the most sought after plaza on the border , it’s not surprise that chapo and mayo wanted it so bad... no surprise that Amado made his fortune while in control of this territory

La linia was made famous for the Juarez' Houses of Death, they were also the State of Chihuahua "Policia Judicial Estatal" and the case fugitives were never arrested, they were also accomplices with Tejas criminals including federal Level Where former governor Cesar "El Capulina" Duarte hides these days protected like a foreign dignitary, on the US...
They did not murder Amado Carrillo Fuentes to share their state with anybody else but their own compas.

  15. I called this a few months ago. I don’t know what their cell is called. I think the Linces. The make an L as hand sign. Or maybe just a very well equipped cell of la linea. Anyways it’s the same group that cleaned Cuauhtémoc a few months back taking out Gente del Tigre. Picking up and disposing of Cuauhtémoc police with extracting all information. This cell is also from Cuauhtémoc. They did align them selves with Gente del Tigre a while back. Maybe that’s why they were able to dismantle them so quickly, because they quickly decided to go back to La Linea. They are very well equipped and very well trained. They move silently and strike heavy. Nothing was known about El Jaguar 6 months ago. Just that he came with backing of CDS from Sonora maybe linked to los Salazar. He was helping with soldiers, money and weapons to El Tigre’s people. That’s all that was basically know. Now look at him. And all his people. They have been hiding in the mountains for weeks. Having the Madera police bring them food and supply’s because they knew this cell was in town. These guys are no joke and are not done.

  17. La Linea + La Linea de Cuauhtémoc now known as Gente del Tigre or Cartel de San Antonio + Aztecas + Mexicles + Los Muchacos + another 100 large crime family’s that are under the radar + Political Friends = Juárez Cartel.

There is only a small fraction of Aztecas who are not at war but also do not aid La Linea.
And I’d say also a small fraction of Mexicles that have now started to aid La Linea. Los Muchachos and many large crime family’s never turned their backs on the Linea. And it seems like they are also beginning to have a political advantage as of late. Juarez Cartel isn’t back. But it seems to be building up. Especially since no leaders have been identified. That means a lot of people are working together. And if there are Jaliscas in Chihuahua they are not working out in the open. No CJNG signs on the trucks or hats. They might be quitetly moving drugs to cross the border in a quiet discreet manner. In a medium size operation. They have zero chance of taking Chihuahua

    2. Governor Duarte was accused of having one brother who is a gang banger, and both are said to be US Citizens.
if this is true what are their connections to Juarez cartels? Julian Leyzaola was imported to abuse people in Juarez after he got kicked out of the Tijuana police and after he had been abusing people in Morelos where his old buddy Capella replaced him as chief murdering enforcer of their cartel. They usually hire people for their private security corporations and they then unleash them to take over all the crime they can, the states do not usually have the budget to pay for their "services", but the crimes will.
