A Locksmith, housewife and Intern were among the 20 hanged in Uruapan

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat

[Note: When cartels plan a mass killing, typically they will round up innocents.  In Boca del Rio Veracruz when Mencho’s hitmen known then as “Mata Zetas” tortured, killed and dumped 35 bodies in front of the World Trade Center, it was laterknown all were innocents most picked up by municipal police for CJNG.  The entire force was subsequently fired.  Now with the 20 in Uruapan, it appears the same method of acquiring ‘props’ may have been  used….. Although meth was discovered in most of their systems, it is not unfair to speculate they were forced to take the drug…Chivis]

Adrián López Solís, Michoacán state prosecutor, reported Friday of 12 of the 19 bodies found Thursday in Uruapan, Michoacán , have already been identified.

In an interview with MVS News , the prosecutor explained that among the people identified there is a law intern, a merchant, a musician, a waiter, a housewife and a locksmith.

"In some cases they had been missing since August 4 and family members did not report the incident until they learned of these events," said the prosecutor.

López Solís also said that the causes of death of these people are varied, as some died from suffocation, others from gunfire or poly trauma, and that in the toxicological tests performed, most of them had positive results for methamphetamines.

    1. Chivis, 3 weeks ago in my country the authorities discovered a serial killer. He killed at least 2 young girls. One of them managed to call the police before being murdered. She told them that she was beaten and raped. They arrested him the next day after he already killed and burned her. The police moved very slow and made a few mistakes. A few days later, my country's chief of police was dismissed, the city prefect was dismissed, the local police chief was dismissed, even the interior minister resigned. I'm curious who will resign or who will be dismissed in Michoacan after this case? It's obvious that the persons in charge with the population security failed. They can't continue in those positions.

    2. For 3:20 PM - in your country (which is also my country of birth) that was such an isolated case, that the news spread like a wild fire and it was discussed non stop on every media channel and paper for weeks. In Michoacán there are so many more murders than our country (most extremely brutal and made as gory as possible) that the locals have become (sadly to say) more desensitized to it. Also the vast billions of in flow cash makes corruption there a vast organization at every level of government, rather than just a few individuals here and there. They can and will continue in those positions. There may be a couple of dismissions here and there, but that will be a drop in the water, and not stop future events like this. The replacements are also as likely to participate later on and become corrupted as their predecessors.

    4. They caught 12 from cjng that did those atrocities but no one will resign even if they March or protest.. mafia has taken Mexico, specifically michoacan.. cartels and government work together, there is many stories here on BB how michoacan people tried to self govern because of the lack of trust for government but the government and cartels killed many leaders and infiltrated the autodefenzas... too much money involved and government ALWAYS sells out if not they get killed too

    5. @9:07 NP. The country I'm from it's pretty corrupt also. Not at the level of Mexico tho, but still. It's Romania...

    6. 10:38 PRI, EPN, Policia Federal, Army marinas and navy, came to put law and order in Michuakan after Mireles AutoDefensas had kicked out the Templarios, and sent it all to hell again through corruption starting with PRD Conejo Aurioles sent by EPN/PRI.

    2. Why would CJNG plead guilty to a crime like this that carries a sure death sentence? Or go and murder in Veracruz the same way when Arturo bermudez Zurita had his own professional team of killers in the State School or academy of police where his victims kept being murdered for six years by "Los Fieles"?
CJNG may have even paid for the job, but bermudez delivered a bunch of innocents, not the zetas that were the deal.
The new fiscal and attorney General looks guilty as hell, including the Helicopterazo where former states attorney Martin Godoy got whacked. Ambition would be the reason, fiscal and AG have worked around in many criminal states like Tamaulipas to have wide knowledge how to do this kind of shit, they are not new at this, at least contracted the job.

  3. My guess is that the innocent victims in this case were unfortunately picked up when they went to go score at a Viagras tienda. Probably picked up just to pad the numbers. Of course there were some not-so-innocent victims in this case that have already been identified.

    2. 2:50 the viagras went to pick up the victims from Guanajuato where they were buying to kill them for the CJNG?
YOU FLAP YOUR GUNS TOO MUCH, TOO SOON, TOO UNNECESSARILY.

    3. Don't know where you're getting the notion that the victims were picked up in GTO from. Marina did arrest a group of CJNG punteros in GTO and claimed they were the CJNG "Grupo Elite" that committed the massacre. Two problems with that (1) Grupo Elite is active in GTO, not Mich (I have never seen a manta signed by Grupo Elite in Mich or an execution attributed to them in Mich) and (2) the victims of the massacre have all been identified as living in Mich. The group of CJNG punteros captured in GTO are in for the ride of their lives if the gov't frames them as Grupo Elite.

People come up with some contradictory propositions and you just have to line up a question for them to check their facts.

  6. I know someone who had been kidnapped by CJNG and they forced him to smoke meth. Why they seams to always do that?

    1. Two probable reasons: creating a future customer, and so the government can announce meth was in their system when killed so it looks like they were linked to the criminal world

  8. Yes chivas, you are correct about boca. the ag went on radio and admitted that after investigating only 2 had minor criminal record. 2 guys one for public intoxication the other for stealing things I think bricks.

he said that not one could be linked to organized crime.

I remember you were able to get the records from the pgr on victims. and you wrote a good article about all of it. I tired to find it in the search bar but couldnt. please help me

I think in this killings maybe there is a mix of innocents and not innocent. that is just a guest

  9. It's hard to imagine that innocent people were picked up just to install fear. That is some messed up stuff.

  10. So everyone that’s tied to a criminal organization should have a criminal record? A lot of people that are involved in illicit activities often have a “Job”. Just because they were housewives or musicians doesn’t mean that they were innocent. Sad thing is we will probably never know for sure.

    1. Do you always pick out one fact and leave others alone? pgr could find NO link to org crime not one. and that was tough for fge and pgr to admit, it is much easier to have 35 people slaughtered and dumped if they are zetas.

I recall pgr went in and gave polygraphs to all police---half quit and would not take it, the others all failed and they were fired. the feds were sent in to take over the police department.

they were found complicit with org crime, as all narco plazas, and in picking up compliant innocents and handing them over to org crime to use as props.

it is far more difficult and dangerous to pick up narcos for mass killings.

at 4:44 yes the records were clear and there were many good people killed, including award winning teacher and a 15 yr old going to get chicken food before school. his grandmother raised him and they sold eggs for a little money

    2. Even if the fallen were addicted or cartel members themselves, there is no death penalty in Mexico for many reasons, even proven real Big criminals do not get treated like that, for any reason, ever!

      Delete
    3. 5:34 "...half the police quit and half failed the polygraph tests"
--That should tell everything about state and municipal Police corrupted thoroughly by Federales and military and their narco-governors sponsored by their presidentes like FECAL and EPN.

The people are still going to say sinaloa set them up cause cjng dont do this to innocent people ja ja cjng is the worst they have been doing this alot and they dont care about any innocent people and i know every cartel kill inocent people but like every war thers civilian casualty but when you do it all the time thats different

    2. 1:17 yea cause killing innocents will always win you a plaza, now cheering for anyone but killing innocents most likely will make you loose your plaza especially if you do it all the time, and cjng its been wining all the plazas that they go in so something does not add up here

  12. Do you think it would be better or safer for the innocent people if they could get their own guns?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Yeh for sure they should have their own guns I think its likely the ONLY thing that can save Mexico at this point is arming the people who need to be armed to defend themselves. As it is now its all the wrong people with the guns. This is why you don't get huge cartels overtaking parts of America where the civilians have the right to bear arms to defend themselves.

  13. All twenty corpses had meth in their system!? It was obvious that the deceased were forced to ingest Meth. The stigma about drug addicts is immense in Mexico. The public has no sympathy for "drug addicts."

  14. Jeez now they torturing and executing innocent people again just to use as props to send a message???? I can't even begin to imagine the confusion terror and torment these poor people went through leading up to their deaths :( this is horrific this is EVIL this is SICK!! enough is enough Mexico get that corruption problem fixed already before you completely lose control of the country as it is right now its looking to be totally over run by a cartel like CJNG and until the government start removing the bad apples within them the bodies of the innocent will keep piling up.

These cartel people are the absolute scum of the earth they need wiping out and FAST! this has gone on too long.

Don't let these poor people die in vain AT LEAST give them some justice I know not all the cops in the government are corrupt there are some that want to do the right thing and make Mexico safe and put away the bad people but the odds are stacked against them in a job where you cannot trust anyone.

Its all just so so sad :(
