Coahuila: Former Regional Chief for Zetas to be extradited to the United States

In the municipality of Almoloya de Juárez, State of Mexico, the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) completed an arrest warrant for the extradition of a former Los Zetas regional chief operating in Coahuila.

Miguel Ángel "R", known by the alias of Alfa Metro , is needed by a Texas Court to be charged for his probable responsibility in the crimes of criminal association, arms trafficking and money laundering.

The FGR reported that the Special District Judge in the Accusatory Criminal System of the Federal Criminal Justice Center in Almoloya de Juárez, delivered the order.

"Agents of the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM), attached to the General Directorate of International Police Affairs and Interpol, completed the detention order without using violence or affecting third parties, with respect at all times for their human rights,"
