A Caravan migrant is kidnapped, he bragged about shooting down Mexicans

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat Thank you Lacy! material from Superchannel 12

He said "What are 30 assholes going to do against 30k migrants?"

It began when a Central American migrant was interviewed on video, threatening to Mexicans who are protesting against the caravan.  It is unclear where this took place but most likely in Tijuana Mexico, near the POE with the United States.

He threatened to shoot Mexicans that interfered, saying, “If they want violence, that is what they will see. What are 30 assholes going to do against 30k migrants?” he asked.

He is heard about next in a video posted on social media, after he is kidnapped and is being interrogated.

Mexicans in large part have little use for people from Central America, and have begun protesting in Tijuana against their arrival, not allowing them to loiter around the border fence. On social media, comments are brutal against the migrants, calling them free loading dogs, saying “go back to where you came from” Read the comments in the youtube video. Tensions are high.  Shelter and medical costs in Tijuana alone have cost millions. No news what happened next.

Funny; This mentality towards Central Americans by Mexicans are the same perceptions many Americans hold to all those who do not reside.

      Gotta love the irony.

    3. The same way Mexicans are racist towards Central Americans, it goes both ways! I’m mexican and live in LA — and I can tell you that Central Americans are extra rude towards me than the white people in the neighborhood. I’m not racist towards them, I just think they are dirty for literring in our neighborhood especially if you compare East Los, it’s clean and majority are Mexican residents.

    10. Chivis thank you/mil gracias for the truth, that's why many of us are here at BB. Any foreigner who's lived in Mexico for more than a few months knows that Mexicans hate black people, they call all Asians "chinos" and treasure whiteness in appearance above all.

A fin de cuentas todos son malinchistas, verdad Chivis?

Argentinians are also neo-Nazi racist AF. If you want to piss off an Argentine, ask him what part of Mexico he's from. Brazil is the only Latin American country where mixed-race ancestry doesn't matter so much and that's cause there's 150 million of them.

In general all Latinos/Democrats and Hispanics/Republicans even those that live in the US are flag-waving nationalists, though they protest their countries' corruption.

Also - look at the comments on this board from the Mexicans. Everyone hates those who aren't from their state/village/pinche pueblo. The whole Sinaloa vs. CJNG vs. Michoacano's etc. is based on all that provincial cacique feuds from pre-Cortesian times.

As the chilangos say "Fuera de Mexico, todo es Cuautitlan" = Except for Mexico City the whole country is a one-horse town

      Viva la raza LOLOLOLOLOLOL

I'd like to buy Mexico for what it's really worth and sell it for what Mexicans think it's worth.

    11. 9:12; Far less than 1% would be much closer estimate to the ridiculous claim you say.
By the way - what percent of North American use illegal drogas? I read 2.2% 9 and 10 grade try cocaine. This is more than 3x people working in Mexican drug trade.

Also not all Mexicans are very racist or even racist, but I have seen in many big city like Lima, Santa Cruz Bolivia, and other wealthy city that many night clubs and places to eat will find reasons not to let in Indios y negros even when they have money and dress nice. I see this in Lima more than any place. My experience is that Columbia is less racist of other country. Suriname and French Guiana are ruled by East Indians that have money and they are most racist to los indios y negros in all of the South Americas in my experience.

    12. 9:12 not every Mexican is in the drug trade, most of us are 2 proud to take easy money so we work hard for it and it don’t matter where we work hard, Mexico, USA, Canada, Spain, Germany, the point is that the 1% that is involved in the drug game make us look bad and I don’t know if you’re 2 stupid to understand or you’re just plain stupid

    19. I'm laughing a little because the first thing we learned years ago in college Spanish 101 was to never, ever ask, "¿Eres indio?" I can't ever imagine asking someone that, but in the US, Native Americans hold onto that heritage as a matter of pride, and it's a status symbol to be part Native American. However, you do *not* ask that in Mexico or anywhere south of Mexico. I'll never forget that.

    22. Many races are prejudiced against differences among their own people. Here's a great example. Different Indian Tribes are among the Hispanic races. Many times those Tribes don't like each other just as American Indians were always fighting and killing one another. Even America Blacks don't often times like the differences in color in their own race.

    2. I think that they are already interfering with business because of the added scrutiny at the border. There are a lot of powerful people in Tijuana and a lot of dollars flow thru there. The only other city that sees so much dollars would be the tourist area of Cancun. Honduras is bad but Tijuana is not a place to be disrespectful to the locals. I think the migrants are going to have a very difficult time especially since many of them do not have identification.

No motivation to do anything. The white man has too much pride to do some of the jobs Mexicans will do. So no they don’t come n take jobs. Look around society is getting worse and lazy. Around

  13. It is a genetically encoded tendency humans and all social creature "naturally" create "others." It is what forms kin networks, groups, tribes, etc. There survival value in this genetic coded force.
From this life force we get social grouping like tribes, gangs, clubs, classes, religions, nationalities, and "races".

Civilizations, cultures, nationalities, are natural outcomes or inventions to channel and control destructive forces within defined social groups.

It is "natural" to fear and hate the "other".... So, it should not surprise anyone if Mexicans and Central American dislike or hate "other" groups...(As we know, "hate" takes subtle to extreme forms).

Many of the caravaners will end up at putas or putos. They will be told to strap on 30 Kg of drogas then pointed north in the final caravan. The dogs of this ruin are the organizers of the caravans who spread lies in Nicaragua, El Salvador and Honduras. 31. BB FOLLOWERS:
I feel the need to clarify my statement of racism in Mexico. I don't understand racism, and bigotry, I deplore it. As a child I only encountered it once, hugely. and it killed my abundant confidence for years. Imagine being a 11 year old being the only person not invited to a party? "Because she is Mexican and they are not allowed in our home". I was so confused. I was president of student body. I always did well and had a ton of friends. Then this happened because of my skin color. I grew up in an almost all white school. no blacks, a handful of asians and 6 or so Mexicans.

That was my introduction to racism. when i made my remark about Mexicans -in Mexico- being prejudiced and racist, it gave me no joy, but I have to be honest in discussion or I am as hypocritical as Mexicans and the mexican administration.

That is why indigenous groups have to create their own government, police and schools. it is why they are never given tax dollars to improve their towns. it is why zapatistas have their own government and call the federal gob "Bad Government" it is why places like Michoacan created autodefensas. although 13 states have AD and have had groups for over 100 years. it is why the constitution gives the right for indigenous people to create their own government, police etc. Being they don't give a rats ass for people of color. Mostly found in the southern states. More black Mexicans are found in Guerrero, one of the most impoverished, violent states in Mexico. that is no coincidence. It is why the 43 kids were taken and killed in Iguala, because the perps thought there would be no consequence. Groups had previously gone to the feds begging for help with the killings. they said it was a state problem.

no, the state was/is the problem. No until the world demanded answers did the feds step in. and now things are better...right? nope, when the spotlight left so did the feds and killings are up in Iguala.

I try hard to keep a balance. I work with Migrante Shelters. In each backpack I give with supplies, I include a letter from me. I have seen men cry when reading it, one said "this is the first time I felt human and that someone cares since setting foot in Mexico".

Most migrants are economic migrants and are good hard working people. and not like this punk loud mouth. And sadly there are bad people in the caravans. it is a free ride, paid for and organised by an open border group. we must demand the integrity of the immigration laws.

I will say Mexicans who are not prejudice against CAs and dark skin are in the minority. Even I, which i am medium color as I said "cafe con leche" skin tone, even I encountered racism in a north east state. Long story. It was then I looked around the room and saw i was the sole person with jet black hair. The governors mother at the same meeting, a Spaniard woman did not accept my out stretched hand of greeting, she kept her hands at her side and simply nodded. and we were there to honor my work.

So if you want to criticize me and point out what you heard or isolated incidents or situations, understand I lived and worked in Mexico. I know first hand the situation. My half maya buelita told me her spainard inlaws, all from san juan de los lagos, jalisco, would not meet her because of her ethnicity, so racism roots are deep in Mexico. Sadly both sides of the equation accept what is. So change will not be soon.

I have been critical of mexico's criticism of U.S. policies and "treatment" of caravan migrants. and this is why.

    Thank you

    2. Chivis,

Thanks for sharing. I had no idea that you have lived in Mexico. It is absolutely disgusting to isolate a CHILD solely based on skin color. In the US, I have experienced racism from other Hispanics because of where I am from (Hispanics tend to have a rivalry among themselves), but not from whites or blacks. Then again, I am very white with light eyes... I have traveled to neighborhoods that are predominantly white american and was graciously received even called "full white" ... so all I can say is I'm very sorry for other Hispanics who are mistreated for their skin color. Fuck the bitch who rejected your handshake. POS ass hoe. You're a great, goodhearted woman who's making a difference. Let her think she's above, she'll get her rude awakening.

Reason I say this....in Texas, lawmakers decided to spend time and resources on legislature making it illegal to run a lemonade stand!! Look it up! Instead of being concerned about more important issues, Texas lawmakers made sure to allow "bake sales" legal and tax them. These same lawmakers are completely ignoring the issue of how to enhance the immigration process. People that were voted into these positions should be spending their time coming up with ways to streamline the process...make it better. Good going Texas!!!

  33. I realize this is a stupid question, but do Central and South Americans discriminate against a Central American raised in the US that doesn't speak Spanish? We adopted an ethnically Hispanic child, who is now 13, and he hates speaking Spanish (and hasn't spoke any since he was 2 years old). I'm trying to encourage him to learn because I know one day he may want to identify with and befriend fellow Hispanic people and learn about his culture versus being surrounded by all of the white people in his life (although we love him very much and don't personally care if he never wants to speak Spanish). I love Spanish, but I guess he doesn't want to be 'different'. He does not want to learn. I have not pushed it. Husband said to have him focus on the hard sciences and schoolwork versus pushing him to relearn Spanish.

    1. 11:39 he should not have to learn Spanish because hes ethnically Hispanic. It is very important to learn another language and a couple if you can but I would push him to learn what interests him. He doesn't need validation from anyone. As long as he loves himself then that's what matters. The kind of people that would judge someone for not speaking a language are not the kind of people you would want as friends.

I meet so many Mexican Americans that have so much potential but they set the bar so low for themselves because they feel they have to live a certain way based on the norms and way of life of the Hispanics around them. This goes for many other groups too. Imagine him speaking Mandarin or Italian, french. He would set himself apart big time.

Like literally when u see a big black trash bag on the side of the road that someone dumped, it’s very possible there is a body or body parts in that trash bag. Sad but true. I’ve seen it.

  37. Oh the irony.

Always claiming someone took advantage or 'disrespected' you,
Yet too self-absorbed to give respect where respect is due.

The least qualified to speak... never shut up
And those who actually know... don't speak.

Two ears, but only soundbites get through to their brain,
And one great big mouth pulling double-duty:
Bragging, Insulting, Accusing, Making Excuses... Lying

It's, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy", for a reason. Sooner than you think, you're gonna need a merciful God on your side. Instead of blaming & pointing fingers at everyone else, hating them for being 'different' than you (too white, too dark, not Mexican enough, etc...) Instead of playing judge, jury, & executioner, how about a little "Live & Let Live" for a change? It surely couldn't hurt.

The worst enemy of the real desplazado?
Lawlessness & corruption. That's what creates their desperate situation in the first place.

One would think, rather than attacking and criticizing those who are trying to establish law & order, the people who look for help & justice from their neighbors would show at least some kind of gratitude, not constantly fighting against the very people who actually keep their word and play fair by the rules.

  38. I don't think this individual is a great example of the majority of these illegal migrants. But he certainly does demonstrate that many of them are belligerent and think they are "entitled" to come to the USA. To threaten however will get them nowhere hopefully. We'll see what the actual resolve of the POTUS is about this. He looks pretty serious. But the Democrat Party wants us over run obviously. They don't like the USA as it "IS".
