Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, [left at his inauguration]  is the new governor of Guanajuato.  At his inauguration on September 26th his emphasis was on increasing tourism, and restoring security in the state.

State authorities say, the governor had already  requested a federal operation in the area of Jerécuaro, Guanajuato, the objective;  to arrest José Antonio Yépez Ortiz, alias "El Marro",  leader of the Santa Rosa de Lima Cartel.

The governor’s first day on the job was Thursday, 24 hours later  a powerful confrontation between armed men and elite elements of the Federal Police commenced, leaving at least 8 dead in the balance.

The Ministry of the Interior released a statement stating that the clash was the result of new security measures implemented to combat the runaway violence that has permeated certain areas of the state.  The battleground has CJNG VS Santa Rosa de Lima,  warring over lucrative oil production pipelines in the area and control of the refinery in Salamanca.

The ministry says that the armed men were in 7 trucks and outnumbered federal agents.  Some of the men wore vests identifying themselves as CJNG.  In the trucks was heavy artillery including assault rifles, a grenade launcher and improvised explosive devices.

CJNG members created a blockade of burning vehicles, to help facilitate their escape.

  1. Governor of Guanajuato is on Mencho's team. The governor sends his state police to protect him whenever he goes into Guanajuato. Mencho is only being looked by the Mexican marines

    1. No doubt about it! Just about every politician in Mexico is corrupt whether by greed or intimidation. "La Tonina', before he was killed in Pueblo Nuevo was in and out of jail as it was some type of hostel. He had municipal police escort him and his crew to the pipeline just on the outskirts of Pueblo Nuevo. They would literally shine light for them while they stole fuel. In nearby el Brete CJNG rounded up some brick makers, pointed to one of them nicknamed "La Mosquita" blasted him to hell and left 3 others scared shitless. The sicarios stayed a good 20 min after they put about 10 rounds in La Mosquitas face. While most criminals would immediately take off after executing someone by "swiss cheesing" their head, these CJNG dudes knew that no sirens or flashing lights would show up. Guanajuato es de Guanajuatenses? Chinguen a su madre... Mexico debe ser del pueblo! It shouldn't be for lacras who sell drugs, kidnapp, extort or steal fuel. I love all of Mexico, especially Guanajuato but these pieces of shit are destroying what little good is left in Mexico. We've made little progress from the time of the ancient Aztec & Maya. We still sacrifice humans but for the mighty green gods "Dollar y Peso."

    3. 1p:35 CJNG does not need to show work, the police and army do and i swear they killed La Mosquita, Colombian styled Falsos Positivos have been a fact of life in Mexico for a long time now, since FECAL got elected, and they also helped EPN steal his election with Colombian hackers help.

  12. Ya Know, I am SO sick of this “INCREASE MX TOURISM “ theme; everybody ought to BOYCOTT the MX tourism Industry. They , like every other country just exploits their best beaches , etc. Pave and build to the sky up to the high tide line, it is just sick capitalism at its worst. It is just like what we in the US do to Native Americans. Anyone ever been to Cherokee , NC or 100 other examples ?
5 Star Fly-in Resorts are NOT Mexico , they are Disneyland. if we made a Disneylandia Estilo Mexicano no one would even have to cross the border for Spring Break or their pretentious weddings.
It is not and has not been “ el cheapo” to drink, fish or retire in MX for YEARS now, which used to be the big draw. It was OK then but it’s Not ok now.

    2. I hear you. Traveled extensively throughout Mexico from coast to coast. The best places are the mundane, everyday locales, chilling with the inhabitants, soaking in the culture, far away from the discotheque and high- rises, watching the fishermen come in with their catch, sleeping beach side in a palapa, getting away from the crush of the border where the dollar sign on your back fades just a little. My children, half Mexican, don't know their country, and it's a shame. I do wish sometimes to take them back to see their culture, but there is too much to lose. And so yes, a boycott it is. Much respect to the the people of the Rio Ostula, Michoacan.

    3. Just another typicall liberal complaining about capitalism. I see nothing wrong turning miles of wasteland into resorts (think los Cabos). Instead of sitting here on your ass complaining why don't you go get an education and do something about it.

    4. Oh and another thing, your on here complaining about exploitation and capitalism but your probably holding a phone made by cheap Chinese labor.

    8. Cherokee NC was a depressing place the last time I was there and you make a valid point... Destin Florida was not crowded when it began and now you can’t even walk down to the freakin beach without trespassing on some fukin hotels “property”... 354 calling people liberal because they don’t want a hotel built on a public beach is about as immature as the phone comments... let’s just turn Mexico into one big Tijuana Juárez and Nuevo Laredo all in one...
ever heard of Atlantic City? The playground for the rich and famous on the east coast.... I have family there... how did capitalism work out for that city???
      They ruined some great beaches...

    9. This is a ridiculous comment. I own a couple of restaurants in central Mex that rely on tourism. Not everything is a mega resort on the beach. Taking a way legit means of employment means even more people falling into whatever they can do to survive

    1. Where is your proof? Stop listening to the corridos menso

    2. Correct. Already a pact with Mayo and most cartels have lined up except CJNG. Essentially AMLO pacted with the big guys from CDS/CDP to unite and cease fire. Too many casualties on all sides. El senor M even held meetings recently with navy , military, state, federal in order to get an agreement made. This is how AMLO will hold his promise from election day of pulling out military and bringing Mexico back to peace. Everyone is lining up except these dogs and "last letters". They will get wiped out. Get your popcorn and see what happens. Remember, quitly CDS/CDP are gaining more strength then ever. No one sees it but they're stronger now then they ever were. Just watch and kick back. Already starting to clean up Acalpulco and give it to Beltrans who are now and have been calling truces with CDS. Territory is getting handed out but CJNG are not in the current plans for Mexico's new government or the United States.

    3. Michael Miller you are starting to sound like sicario 006. Lets remember el chapo paid for EPNs campaign and it was no use because epn had other planes. Agreements are meant to be broken in this. So dont speak to soon.

    4. Dios te oiga Miguel Molinero. Ya estamos asta la coronilla de estas lacras.

      Delete
    5. True 10:15, the agreement was broke because of something Chapo refused to do on behalf of EPN. I'll leave it at that . Plus, you have nooo idea of how this arrangement was broken and why. Get your popcorn ready. I thought CJNG was the richest and paid for everyone's campaigns, why can't they even take control of an important Plaza ???

      Delete
    6. Why cant powerful mayo get rid of chapo isidro in guasave?. Why was chapo caught in los mochis by municipales if he ran the plaza? You should know those answers. Same reason.
