  1. All the lies and far fetched exaggerations in the news post that get copied onto this site it all just gets so old. They arrest one person and he’s responsible for controlling every plaza in Mexico. 99% of those reading and posting here have never even been to Mexico and you believe every word.

    1. 2:18 It matters not . If you have been to Mexico . I guess you are in the inner circle and know whats going on . Just being in mexico don give you inside knowledge . People not in mexico with lots of sources may know more than most operators on the inside . I only know what I read and I admit it . What about you ??

    2. This guy is actually kind of a big deal. This guy is the same person responsible for the killing of Victor Diaz Contreras (alcalde of Tecalitlan). I would like to think there is a direct connection between this guy, the 3 italians, and the killing of Victor. Glad this guy is now under arrest.

    4. Wtf lmao? He runs a few plazas in Jalisco and Nayarit. Do you know that to be a lie? Does that seem implausible to you? MX gov't bullshits at times sure, but to try to discredit the arrest, this site, AND the MX gov't all at once IS a bit farfetched.

    5. 2:18. I would like to echo 5:42s comment w/o the lmao. I agree with you that 99% of the posts here never go to Mexico and in their mind Mexico is one big war zone and that’s something to lmao!
I’ve been driving 60k+ SUVs all over Mexico for almost 20 years and I use common sence by staying on toll roads, but I do drive late at night all the time and I regularly stay in Saltillo, Torreón, Durango, Mazatlan, Tepic and Culiacan. I remember when Torreón felt a few years ago but I’ve never been accosted, seen a gun fight, dead person, or narco message.
Most people here don’t realize that the Mexican economy has exploded the last 10 years and it’s been a gold mine for my business. There may be isolated violence but most Mexicans are not affected and they go about their daily life as Americans do.

  5. So anonymous, who posted at 2:18 PM, since you are professing to be a well connected, and very informed reader, why don’t you get off of your ass and contribute? You can assume the moniker “Deep Throat” and bless us with all of your factual information. Hopefully, it’s better than the hyperbole and fantastical bullshit that you initiated your fact less rant with. Anyone can be a critique because it takes such little effort and intellect. El que no puede crítica.

  7. I was just in Acatlan de Juarez and this dude was there with about 13 bodyguards and the local police there just walking around the plaza. Lol. Not really flashing guns but enjoying the party. But every guy there had their bags at their side where I’m sure they were all carrying guns. U often hear “without a single shot fired” when these guys are arrested. That tells me that they usually surveillance these guys and take them down when they’re very vulnerable.
