Nuevo Laredo: U.N. sees federal forces connection in wave of disappearances

Chivis Martinez Borderland Beat...Republished from Reuters   Thanks again Tu Fren

Citizens have been reporting this for months:

The U.N. human rights office has “strong indications” that Mexican federal security forces are behind a wave of disappearances in and around the city of Nuevo Laredo, a statement from the U.N. human rights chief said on Wednesday.

Mexican officials did not immediately respond to the UN allegations.

The U.N. has documented the disappearance of 21 men and two women in Nuevo Laredo in Tamaulipas State from February until May 16 this year, the statement from U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein said.

“Many of these people are reported to have been arbitrarily detained and disappeared while going about their daily lives,” the statement quoted Zeid as saying.

A local human rights organization put the number of disappearances in Nuevo Laredo at more than 40, and the U.N. human rights office received testimonies that they were allegedly perpetrated by a federal security force, often late at night or at dawn, the statement said.

The report is the latest finding by international groups highlighting alleged abuses by the government in its decade-long battle against criminal gangs.

La Jornada reporting:

According to testimonies received by the UN-DH, these disappearances were often perpetrated at night or at dawn, by members of a federal security force. People were reportedly detained by uniformed personnel while walking or driving on roads, and according to the information received, several vehicles were found on the side of the road, burned with bullet impacts.

"It was reported that many of these people were arbitrarily detained and disappeared while carrying out their daily lives." It is particularly horrific that at least five of the victims are minors, three of them very young, just 14. These crimes, perpetrated during four months in a single municipality, that is outrageous, "said High Commissioner Zeid.

The UN High Commissioner pointed out that, in spite of the extensive information and evidence available, the Mexican authorities have made little progress in locating the disappeared persons and in investigating what has happened to them.

It has been happening since the need for traffic of minors for the Habana Hilton customers was made LEGAL BY LAW by the great Cuban society of Fulgencio Batista until the communist animals took over and kicked the gangsters, the mobsters and the banksters out of la isla chingada, in the 50s...
Then they moved to Cancun to make the book "El Infierno por El Edén" famous...

  3. Not all is as cut and dried as it seems. The Humaos Derrechos in MX has been corrupted and devalued for years. They openly hide vicious cartel sicarios and provide shelter to cartel henchmen. Whenever and arrest is made they pay citizens to riot and protest, (most dont even know the people detained in the first place.) Yes there is wrongdoing on all sides but the UN should clean its house and get the facts before pushing propoganda and whatever else the Humanos Derrechos de Mexico has to sell.

    1. from what I understand is they cant find the legit halcones or legit criminals so they got frustrated and started taking anyone who they think could be affiliated or related to cartel. im just goin by what the song says. That they were "cagando mucho el palo" aka shitting the stick, meaning they kept fucking around with the people.

    2. They are one and the same. We dont know who is a criminal and who is innocent. Nobody had due process. So every single one of them is innocent. It was not proven otherwise.

  9. 2:12 you lose your bet, the state government is the one disappearing most of the people, that is the Colombian model that made Alvaro Uribe Velez a billionaire in dollars even before becoming "Pre-sidente de Co-lombia", those billions of dollars and his alliance with the US has kept him out of prison where he belongs with his paras and milicos and AUC AND HIS BROTHER SALVADOR and HIS DOCE APOSTLES GANG...
in veracruz, state sponsored crimes, drug trafficking and their alliance with zeta and CJNG made Fidel Herrera Beltran Z1#2 and Javier Duarte de Ochoa "la marrana" and their favorite "police chief" Arturo Bermudez Zurita MILLIONAIRES MANY TIMES OVER with million dollar properties on the US and mexico... justiceinmexico.org/arturo bermudez zurita
There are hundreds of reports about how the state death squads operate in Mexican states in cahoots with criminals, but the authority resides with the governors, feudal barons of the "presidents" like EPN who talked about "el muxe #1 Borges",la marrana Duarte de Ochoa , el capulina Duarte de chihuahua,
"La silla de montar" guillermo padrés, Los moreiro boys, yarrington. Puro pinche corrupto, after all they brought down the capos like osiel, decena, lazca, El chapo, abl, decaf, and the guadalajara cartel to steal the drug business a day once in it to kidnap for ransom and murder for the lands.
--There are many reports even in "black out news" mexico,
    Try and read one, buddy...

  10. @chivis you published an article last year that mentioned cjng would try to enter tamps or nuevo leon in 2018, my point is several media outlets have reported mencho sending a high ranking lieutenant to Tamps to try and work out some kind of alliance with the dudes grupo escorpion is smoking left and right. Mencho keeps using the sinaloense stragety of heating up the plazas and these reports of the marina doing all this extra shit has cjng bribes written all over it IMO.

    1. That is EXACTLY what they do, cut a limited alliance to achieve a goal. They have done this in each plaza they have acquired beginning with TJ and Michoacan.

      Thanks for the info

  12. The marinas and soldiers are federal Presidential envoys but work in cahoots with the state government and their state police, they have eliminated preventive municipal police to steal all of the whole cake, the narcos are their bitches.
