DD; There are rumors that there is more to this story than we have here and when we can confirm them we will post updates.

Zihuatanejo Gro.  April 25 2017   Three municipal police killed is the preliminary count of an armed attack against the command of this corporation in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo.

The aggression was perpetrated around three o'clock in the middle of this tourist destination, in the vicinity of a shopping center.

The area was surrounded in a few minutes by elements of the various police and military and Marines, as well as personnel from the State Attorney General who took charge of the legal proceedings.

Police reports indicate that among the dead is the commander Pablo Hurtado and agents Casareo Sanchez and Efrain Buillen.

It was reported that suspected gunmen aboard a Suburban truck pulled up in front of the facility and immediately opened fire with high-power weapons.

The commander was lying dead at the gates of the of the command and two more dead in the interior.

At press time the mega operation to  find those responsible had not produced any detentions.

  1. I was there last week, matter of fact stayed in front of that plaza at the emporio hotel. I also showed up one day after they burnt down "la malkerida" bar.

    3. Well unfortunately whichever part of Mexico you go to you may run into issues. The cartel move about freely from area to area so saying one part of Mexico is safer than the other, who really knows if that's the case. It saddens me greatly that the country that I have come to love for the beauty, culture, food, etc. has turned into a country where I wouldn't feel as safe in as I once did.
Some may say if a tourist/local doesn't visit bars/clubs and go out late at night one is safe. But how does anyone really know that? Why play with fire if one has other options?

  4. Is the police or army still recruiting people?? I'll be very discouraged to join with all these killings...fighting a losing battle, n they don't know how to quit

    1. You should never be discouraged to fight for your country. It's the lack of encouragement which suppresses ones country's political stance and its wellbeing.
Patriotism is not a choice but a necessity.

    2. Being a cop in Mexico is VERY lucrative! I remeber back in the day word had it that the fee for certain posts was USD 1 million!

I assume that the most profit minded people are those looking for a career as a polisia in Mex.

    3. Some say La Chapa started as a municipal police officer and got promoted to driver of Miguel Angel Felix Gallardo, his police reports were filled with only X letters.

    5. Patriots do not join the mexican military or police, they degrade them for serving the traitor corrupt government, after swearing loyalty to their country they owe the government blind obedience.

  8. DD have you heard of a Zeta branch called los Bukanas? They operate in he central part of Mexico, to be exact hidalgo state. They also have some control in central veracruz, the side that collides with Hidalgo.

    2. Despite the senseless killings towards police violence and killings of journalists in Mexico have made headlines.
Recently read a report on the New York Times which statistics of journalists killed since 2000 were at 104 while 25 presumed missing . Presumably feared dead.
I can truly state that these occupations in Mexico are Hazardous.
Wondering if hazard pay are generously applied.
      It's tough.

  12. The FUERZA MUNICIPAL and their luxurious trucks must be very well off, the Polesia Estatal Bike is another button of regress, very useful to murder and escape, bI cycles next!
Comandante Toro needed to collect a life instead of bitching about his payments of "millions of dollars" to the marinas, maybe only "estadistas" know when to get rid of their partners.

  15. A cowardly act indeed!
Hopefully apprehension for all those responsible will be at the forefront. This cannot be neglected nor tangled with political elements. In other words Narco politicians.
Justice needs to be administered swiftly and decisively.

  16. When it comes to war a "cowardly act" that accomplished a mission with no casualties of the group is a win, what did you want? A romantic "duel" between gunman?

  17. Hehehee, the mexican polesias never catch anybody infraganti, I doubt they will even torture anybody for these murders, unless they chose right who to torture into confessing.
