Miguel Angel Loya, "El Chito", alleged leader of La Linea, the armed wing of the Juarez Cartel, was detained by Federal Forces. He is allegedly responsible for 60% of the executions in various restaurants and night centres, he is to be charged with kidnapping, extortion, sale of, distribution and transit of drugs in the State.

In a short communication, the PGR indicated that Amaya Loya was detained together with Saul , another important member of the criminal organization. Without mentioning an exact location, they signalled that during searches carried out in Ciudad Juarez, they arrested two men, and confiscated two handguns, two kilograms of crystal, a packet of cocaine, a packet of crystal, 28 doses of crystal, fifty three thousand dollars, four vehicles, and diverse radio equipment.

The detention was carried out in coordination with the Federal Forces Division of the Federal Police, on the back of investigations carried out by elements of SEIDO, confirmed the communication.

El Chito, alleged leader of the criminal group La Linea, armed wing of the Juarez Cartel detained today by Federal Forces, had been arrested last year together with an agent of the Municipal Police and three other men in Avenue Manuel Gomez Morin.

However, after an audience of detention control, he was released from prison, because the Judge permitted an objection to his detention, according to a Press archive.

The alleged leader, who has a domicile in Lindavista Colonia, was arrested in February of 2016 together with ex policeman Hector Magallanes Galvan, as well as Gilberto Ramos Garcia and the brothers Edgar and Ivan and David Caudillo Mendoza.

At the moment of arrest, carried out by elements of State Police, the five men were intoxicated, and had cocaine and marijuana on their persons.

A Judge permitted the release of three of them, including the agent, while the three brothers were sent to the State Prison.

  1. OK so he'll get a top lawyer, spend quite a bit on the judge, the prosecutors office, the police, pay or wack a few witnesses and in the end spend less time in jail than Dr Mireles. Why is that??? Because Dr Mireles is a real threat to those in power. Many people in Mexico know that those in the government are only looking after their own interests, but he did something about it ... and that is dangerous!!!

    1. It's the corrupt federal officials ( judges).
Prime example, one was removed from his duties for allowing several several high profile drug cartel members released. Moreover the money trail of bank accounts ect.
Corruption has been a political powerhouse for such activities.

    1. There are many leaders within La Linea. Some run small crews others run larger ones. This guy runs a pretty big crew for him to be worth mentioning and capturing but not the entire cartel.

Many reports, Charles Bowden, David Brooks, Dallas Morning news,
DEA agent Sandy Gonzalez of El Paso was forced to resign after 30 years on the force for investigating the case "too much", but don't blame the mexican narcos, USDOJ, DEA, ICE, declared him "too inflammatory", this case was all full of corruption all the way up to the US attorney general, Sandy didn't stand a chance, like Héctor Berrellez, Phil Jordan and Cele Castillo, but they got off easy, unlike Kiki Camarena.

Expect the killings to occur nothing will change. These drug wars and its intent for control will continue until some form of solution is found. From truce or legalizations?

  10. Ok if im not mistaken theres been meth and heroin flooding the city but la linea doesn't want the crystal in the city so could it be he was working with someone elae to have the crystal? Theres a recent video of a linea sicario talking about that you can Google it sp really confusing what is happening in chihuas

    1. That is exactly my observation. La Linea doesn't want crystal in the city yet this guy was said to have had crystal in his possession. Could be a betrayal or La Linea finally gave in to the meth demand??? In any case this guy was lucky I, think that the cops where the ones that caught him perhaps as a message for him to leave town. Hopefully Juarez doesn't go back to the way it was before though. This is my biggest concern.

    4. Well they claim CJNG is in Chihuahua, in order for them to operate there they pay piso to CDJ, la linea, or cartel de Juarez nuvea generation. Jalisco probably isn't paying cash to these cartels there giving them crystal and black for the fee and in turn these guys are getting it n shipping it north n Makin there money, while others are keeping it to themselves n there crews n getting hooked n making addicts within the city. Just because your boss don't allow it doesn't mean it won't be a popular way of making money or breaking homes

    6. I think the fact that mencho has lived in US, did time in a California state penetentiary, and was a cop in mexico, gives him a perspective in the trade that chapo or mayo never had. he probably has a better understanding of the market, the consumers of his products, US distributors, law enforcement/legal system, and a general sense of how things are run in our country. Doesn't seem to be type of boss interested in living ultra luxurious life or showing how wealthy he is with white tigers or Lamborghini's. This probably makes him more efficient when it comes to flooding our country with his poison. Also seems to have his people in line, I don't hear about different factions in his organization at war with each other. One of his associates/ allies include the leader of one of the wealthiest cartels in Mexico, who kept an extremely low profile until his arrest... If the US doesn't extradite this person asap and offer him a deal he cant refuse in exchange for helping take Mencho out, then in my opinion, Mencho is being protected by very powerful interests who don't care about the havoc his meth is wreaking on the minds and bodies of our kids. I shutter thinking about the state our country in 10- 15 years if no real efforts are made to control this epidemic...tweakers seem to be emotionless, erratic, selfish, people whose mind and bodies seem to be deteriorating at a steady pace. Their minds are occupied thinking of useless, ridiculous things to do, which they never finish because they've ran with their next great idea. Add sleep deprivation, paranoia, hallucinations, dementia, poor health/hygiene, malnutrition, and countless other negative effects, known and unknown, the concern I have about the world my grandkids will live in is overwhelming.

    7. Mencho is not anywhere near the magnitude of El Chapo or El Mayo. C'mon man! El Chapo is a household name. El Chapo's name can be breathed along with the King of Cocaine Pablo Escobar. You mention their names & people know who you are talking about. You mention El Mencho and people are like "who the hell is that?"
