Tijuana: Lieutenant of 'El Gross' gunned down

Lieutenant de 'El Gross' attacked

Early Saturday morning in Colonia Indepencia, an alleged lieutenant or second in command of Arturo Herrera Gomez, aka 'El Gross' was gunned down, though he survived.  El Gross represents CJNG in Tijuana, and Sanchez Tadoaba, as his main area of influence, his profile has raised significantly in the last year, as feuds between him and Sinaloa cells bloody the streets of Sanchez Tadoaba, and other areas.

Last month, three dismembered bodies were tossed in the street, initial reports claimed they were Arturo Herrera and his three closest lieutenants, though, these reports proved to be inaccurate.  He was mentioned in the narco message, which hung from a bridge, below the disarticulated bodies.  The message was from 'El Griego', a Sinaloa retail cell leader who has been warring with Gross for at least a year.  Griego is aligned with Aquiles, considered the main rival of El Gross, and El JP, as they both worked for him, or on his behalf in earlier years.
There is little information on the attack of Marcos Eduardo Medina Rodriguez,  'El Loony', though he has a prior arrest in October 2015 for possession of a weapon, and retail drug sales, in Zona Central. He was also arrested in May of 2015 for the same offenses.  It is reported he is seriously injured.  If he recovers, it is unlikely, or at least unknown if he will face charges, on any outstanding warrants.

There is also little in available documents indicating he was a ranking member of Gross' crew.  In the past, low level retail arrests would indicate he was not a person with a serious position, but now, it's common place for leaders and their council to be former retail drug dealers, barely removed from the globos and tienditas.

As their profiles slide into larger focus, expect more arrests and killings from the circle of Gross, though he is said to be operating from a state in the interior of Mexico, giving orders through cell phone and radio communications, as is standard procedure.  Gross and his crew are all former retail drug dealers who came up under Teo, Aquiles, and Atlante, the new generation of Tijuana traffickers, known for their brutality, and decadence, in the form of partying, clubs, and corridos.

    2. Your prob the typical northern keyboard gangster who is still stuck in the 90s like all u farmers brainwashed , and they dont hunt them down like you claim most of them provide or use the gangs to move or protect their weight , and for your info most of the top pushers are from the the southern part of cali not because they are better but they are geographically closer to the border, so stop listening to your norteño bs rap , the south controls

  4. J, this guy wasn´t involved with gross, he is a hitman for Los Pelones led by R4, associated with El Tigre, this guy has a lot of hits under his belt of low and mid level retailers in the area controlled by los pelones, I´m not sure what neighborhoods they are, but they are located in the Playas de Tijuana district. The info of him being related to el gross came from Gente de la Tia Juana(Akiles page), they want to bring attention and heat to the people of gross and caf, its the new cyber banners.

    2. I read Gente De La Tia Juana.....A biased source, but a good one. In the CAF/CJNG alliance post a few down, R4 and El JP are mentioned as the same...which has been known for sometime, so whether he is a person of Gross or R4, I think the result is the same, as those two are said to be close. Los Pelones or Los Erres, same group. AFN had the same info, as far as Gross, I don't know if they got it from that facebook page, or other sources.

A good source? how so!? most of his articles and actually published and writing by PSNENLINEA/FRONTERANOTA. All his or they do is add and subtract words.

  5. Thanks for the report J. Mucho quidado mi gente de Tijuas, como que va a estas bien caliente este invierno.

One question though, why do you guys put "gunned down" when some of the people survive? Where I'm from, LA, if someone gets gunned down that's a wrap. To me, someone gets gunned down, there's no coming back from that. El Nemesis-

Yeah cds may kill a high ranking guy here and there but thats only one guy. They kill one five more join. You kill one of ours we kill five of yours and thats how the cartels are

    2. Bola de estupidos, what you need is bring the local politicos to trial, if they are not guilty that is their problem, instead of killing each other like dogs just because the job got to be too much and too big for the local grameros pendejos.
You know, crime does not establish anywhere by itself just like that, it is always dirty greedy politicians and police chiefs, there is Leyzaola "reconquering his tijuas", no mention of him anywhere, "Horge" hank rohn still wants to be gobernador of all of both califas, nobody remembers his nasty chilango ass...

  13. Did they not chop up El Gross and his buddies a few weeks ago throwing body parts off a bridge?
