Tamaulipas violence continues as internal clashes flare

Lucio R. Borderland Beat with C.E.M.

The regional leader of the Gulf Cartel (CDG) is having trouble keeping his troops in line, having to contend with some of his close friends and troops who have turned their weapons against him.

The most recent episode of the fighting started when Julián “El Toro” Loisa Salinas, (left) ordered a change in the structure of command of the criminal organization in the area immediately south of Starr County and the cities of western Hidalgo County, commonly known as La Ribereña.

This change is attributed to the kidnapping, torture and murder of Gumercindo “El Aguila” Gamez Villarreal (below).

The man known as “El Aquila” had been operating on both sides of the US border with Mexico, and recently he had been the commander in charge of the rural community of Díaz Ordaz, south of Sullivan City, Texas. The region has been considered to be a valuable transit point for CDG. The death of El Aguila has resulted in  his followers openly seeking to establish a new commander in the region, causing clashes that has spread terror in the region.

Although there no official word, common in Tamaulipas, this past week, two large convoys of Gulf Cartel gunmen clashed near the rural town Arguelles, not far from Diaz Ordaz. Reports from residents released information about the shooting at vehicles. They say  armed men in vehicles chased each other while shooting weapons throughout the area.

  2. Is this La Aguila from Mission, Tx that was the plaza boss of Diaz Ordaz around 4 years ago and then ran back to the U.S. after almost getting killed with all the infighting???

  3. Fuck CDG! These fuckers were attacked by CDS even before CDS attacked the Juarez cartel and if it wasn't for the Zetas that kicked CDS out they probably would have been conquered by CDS. Granted Zetas later split from them but my problem is that now they claim a sort of alliance with CDS even after what had occured which I, just mentioned. Fuckin CDG looks like they can't hacknit on their own as it is. Zetas might help the Juarez cartel now like people say but this is only after Mexican military, DEA and CIA and federal police helped CDS against Juarez!

    1. 8:47 Looks like what is worse, the hackneyed and mightifull setas could not chew off the hand that fed them, the 4 or 5 remaining golfitas beat all the setas up on the ass, and they are all now playing "visiting dignitaries" in juarez or wherever they little cartelitos and remains of the day need a few good men...for maruchan if they can rob some tiendita...

    2. XD you don't even know what you talking about bruh. Callate mocoso. Zetas was a group that CDG made just like the metros & rojos. CDS ain't as stuff as they claim they are. Los Antrax got nothing on Golfos or Zetas, this is why El Chino Antrax was working for CDG before he got caught. He was im charge of expanding drug routes in Europe & middle east for CDG Metros.

    3. @5:56 be as it may seem that CDJ is a "cartelito" my friend but they still exist and have kept CDS from conquering them even after all this mentioned and as the famous war saying goes " an army destroyed by an outside enemy can still regroup and grow. An army destroyed from within cannot grow". This is fukin punk ass CDG fate from what it appears.
@6:17 the only thing that matters is that CDS attacked CDG and Zetas kicked the shit out of CDS in defense of CDG.

    4. 6:17 Is that why they decided to take him down in the eu? ... See that sicario in picture standing there with lots of confidence, usually those from the cdg don't take pictures like that, is that one there with some other cartel that doesn't pay with marihuana or maruchans?

    5. Lol Chalito Araujo should have killed Chino ántrax when he had the chance. Breh the CDG ate because a Sinaloan let them eat Jesus Albino quintero that's a fact he passed Hella weight through tierras Tamaulipecas. And the only reason the CDG won was because of the zetas or else El Corrido fuera differente and most of those cats are not even from Tamps that's a fact. One things for sure thou Mochomera and FEDAS gave em hell thats why they decided to truce con Los leyva

    6. Don't forget about el karis, he could wipe out anyone anywhere as he did with chapos and beltranes in Nuevo Laredo that's why Barbie fled the city, the gvt knew he was a serious threat that's why they took him out.

  4. The new Mataulipass governor has no news for the citizens of his state, but he must have picked his team and they are mopping up the remains.
Incoming soldiers, marinas, federal poolice, state poolice municipales against viejidio cantú's old guard is what it looks like, helped by this new age of computers, the poolice knew it all before the computer age, and today the power of hacerse pendejo still trumps the cyber-cops, often at the store where they buy obsolete equipment and juno at prices only the US government is used to pay...

  9. El aguila has been mentioned as playing some part in el metro s death. El toro the reynosa boss also lost his brother who was killed.so who knows how all this killings are tight up. Commanders in his faction keep getting killed an operator of sinaloa was arrested in reynosa.loads are not crossing steady like usual. El toro as boss is fucking incompetent. The reynosa faction needs new leadership. El toro and all the leaders under him shld be killed and replaced.

  11. Some said that was during the last century. But the wounds are carried on from generations to generations. As a matter of fact, we inherited this {Mindanao Moro] problem from the United States. Why?
Because they invaded this country and made us their subjugated people.
Everybody has a terrible record of extrajudicial killings. Why make an issue about fighting crime?
He cannot even deal effectively with those at the Mexican border. Look at the human rights [record] of America along that line, the way they treat the migrants there.
You are all so enamored with America. You should be proud of who we are.
He [Obama] should be the one explaining to me why they are doing those extrajudicial killings… Can he explain the 600,000 Moro massacred in this island?
Do you want to see the pictures?
Maybe you’ll ask him. I’ll make it public. We have a recorded history of that sordid period of our national life.
Nobody, but nobody can just… who are you?
Even the American Indians… in movies, you wiped them out. What about the human rights who died in the past?
Is it because it’s just the past tense that we don’t answer for the present tense?
You must be kidding. Stop joking yourself, all of you who are adoring… who is he Obama to ask me that?
I tell him who are you? Tell him that. Telegraph it now.
Why do we have to bow down?
We have long been a republic. I do not kneel down before anybody else except the Filipino in Quiapo walking in misery, and in extreme poverty, and hunger.
The drug campaign will continue and many will die until the last pusher is out of the streets… until the drug manufacturer is killed. We will continue and I don’t give shit about anybody observing my behavior.
These US lapdogs are pretending to be the conscience of this… I would even kick them all in front of him.
There are a lot of you who talked so much about extrajudicial killings and then connect it with Obama. I don’t want to pick a quarrel with Obama, but certainly I would not appear beholden to anybody.

  13. I only am answerable to the Filipino people who elected as president. This is an independent country. Nobody has the right to lecture me.
    Don’t do it.
I do not accept the proposition that anybody is superior to me. We are supposed to be equal there.
My country might be small, hardly keeping up with the economic problems. But I will not allow myself to be insulted, or the Filipinos.
But there are others whose mental capacity of dogs who lapped at the asses of the Americans.
    Thank you.

Obama, on the other hand, appears to have lost the appetite to talk to Duterte. Obviously, he was insulted even before this speech when the latter admitted to rather talk to Vladimir Putin instead.
Asked at a news conference in Hangzhou, China, whether he still intends to meet with Duterte and raise the issue of extrajudicial killings, Obama said he had instructed his aides to assess whether it is still possible for the two leaders to have a constructive meeting in Laos.
“I always want to make sure that if I’m having a meeting that it’s actually productive, and that we’re getting something done,” Obama said.
“We recognize the significant burden that the drug trade plays not just in the Philippines but around the world, and fighting narco-trafficking is tough. But we will always assert the need to have due process and to engage in that fight against drugs in a way that’s consistent with basic international norms. And so, undoubtedly, if and when we have a meeting this is something that is going to be brought up,” said Obama, who has been attending a meeting of the Group of 20 nations.
    Shit yourself, Mr. Barry Soetoro.
Another slap in the face of America, the Exceptionalist Nation!
    Jamb your imperialism!

    3. Not for sure what your talking about . Maybe your saying Obama sucks ? Yea pretty much the whole USA thinks that . The Usa people ? Whoa now . The only reason the Philippine islands are not now called the Empire of Japan is because the American soldiers killed the cruel Japanese occupiers out of the Philippines . My dad fought on the Philippine islands in combat that lasted days at a time and often ended up in hand to hand to the death .The Nippon did not surrender . Instead they always chose a "honorable death" fighting . I'm pretty sure the Philippines have been a independent country since the USA liberated you from the Japanese . Probably rebuilt you like we did japan . Everybody hates the usa . I think pretty much all the us relations is, usa gives and the other country receives .
      Fuck Obama

    1. The problem is not that the trash kill each other, the problem is that behind that rigmarole, the government comes to extort and kidnap for ransom with their "anti-kidnapping" specialists that handle the rescues to the death of the kidnapped and steal the money, and the plain old murders they commit just because or to show "work", they call it state sponsored terrorism for a reason.
