Mochomo: Psychiatric Eval ordered for Alfredo Beltran Leyva

Lucio Borderland Beat with C.E.M.
By Narcomics fo Borderland Beat
The two day hearing scheduled for Alfredo Beltran Leyva last week, was postponed and and a continuance filed by the defense granted.  In its place a status conference was held.

The reason for the continuance was a request for a psychiatric evaluation.  The evidence to support the request is under seal.  And most likely will remain under seal.

The move is an unusual one, especially at this late stage of the case, Alfredo pleaded guilty and the hearing was pre-sentencing.  The hearing ordered by the judge was considered favorable to the defendant.

This most certainly not a ploy to stall, as part of the filing the defense attorney submitted evidence proving his preparedness for the hearing.

Because of the surprising guilty plea, the judge ordered the 2 day hearing in which prosecutors would have to prove some of their claims.  For example, the outrageously high forfeiture amount.

The amount was calculated by information given to federal prosecutors by narcos in exchange for sweet deals for themselves.  Using that information and magical math prosecutors are asking for the ridiculously high amount of forfeiture …..10 Billion USD.  In the pre-sentencing hearing feds will have to give evidence to support their claims.  It was assumed that La Barbie would be the integral witness, if the case had gone to trial.  He would have given information regarding the operation of the cartel.  He cut his own deal with the feds, and rumors were persistent after his arrest in Mexico, that he was not only a Mexican government witness long before his arrest, but also a witness for the U.S. government.  When the hearing was ordered, La Barbie was dropped from the witness list.

His pleading guilty and being a first time offender will benefit in sentencing.  The feds are asking for life.  A much higher sentence than given to higher profile narcos.

Alfredo is asking for credit for time served since 2008, and that he serve his sentence in a federal prison in Southern California, to be closer to his family.

    3. Maybe he wants to withdraw his plea of guilty . I would say that would be the only reason to file such a paper . I can assure you being not of sound mind will not get him released . Often insanity pleas gets a murder life rather than execution .
Then the other side . Anybody in his situation should have sanity problems . Comon now . Do you think anybody in his situation is feeling chipper . He obviously has the money to work every angle . Freud even classified the evil as sick rather than evil .
I can tell him how to feel better . Instead of thinking of his poor little ol self and the predicament he is in . He should thing about how the world will be better off without they coca and heroin and mota he would have delivered. Now if we could lock up about 100,000 more of these poor depressed fuckers. Simple get him a 50 year scrpt to Prozac . Or better than that feed him heroin a week and take him off a week for the next 50 years. Now that would be justice !

    1. nothing at this time. Hopefully one day soon. But I can say this was not a ploy as 12:1 seems to think. First of all Mochomo through Prosecutors off their game by the guilty plea. He did not want a deal that would require his testimony against anyone, and did not want his family put through a trial.

By his plea he was in the drivers sear ---so to speak--- because then the prosecution had to prove certain claims before sentencing. Such as the outrageous claim of forfeiture. The amt was based on testimony from narcos who cut deals and prosecutorial magical math. That is why the hearing was ordered no doubt the judge will find it a vastly hyped number. Mochomo would also benefit as first time offender.

I do not believe his atty would have asked for the evaluation if there were not valid concerns for his well being..

  4. Calling it now...25 years for trafficking...forfeiture will be lowered significantly...and not a day in prison for any of the hundreds, possibly thousands of murders Alfredo Beltran Leyva ordered or carried out himself.

    2. 2:15 why stop at "thousands of murders" alfredo beltran leyva may have committed or not?
--Hundreds of thousands of murders attributed to el mochomo would clear the books of unsolved crimes and disappearances done by the mexican government through its armies of sicarios soldiers, marinas, paramilitary and poolice corporations, and clear javier duarte de ochoa of his crimes, and other past and present governors, presidentes and ministers too...

  5. I'm not a lawyer, so I don't understand. If Mochomo has already pleaded "guilty" and is awaiting the sentence by the judge, how would a "crazy" or "not crazy" evaluation change the case at this point? Can he go back and change his plea to "not guilty by reason of insanity? Or will a "crazy" evaluation provide him with some other options in serving his sentence?

    1. As I said it is not to help the case it is to help HIM.
and no I doubt he would prefer to be locked up with loonies. I feel this is a legit concern for him, probably, and this is a guess, because of behaviors exhibited. I think he was in a good position going into the hearing. I do know although Barbie was to testify against him in the jury trial, he is dropped from the witness list for the hearing.

I am not sure about changing the plea, I think he could have done that, or at least try. I will ask...

    2. Chives do they do a psychiatric eval on barbie?

      Delete
    3. 4:30 . I am not chivis and I am not a doctor but I can do a diagnosis on Barbie from here at my computer . The primary diagnosis on Barbie is deviant sociopath . Sure they can get depressed and feel sorry but it is all for themselves . They don't have the capacity to feel empathy .That don't have cant get and will remain void of it . Ive seen these types "clean up their act" and become preachers or what ever . A example of that is Joshua Milton Blahyi . Also known as general Butt Naked in the civil war in Liberia . What does this have to do with the drug war ? Mexicans furnished the dope . And he is being compared to the evil cartel members .

    4. I agree 10:26, Helen Keller could have diagnosed Edgar. I would think he would have multiple mental diagnosis. But Sociopath would be one.....

  12. Man at the end of the day crime does not really pay for real look at this guy mochomo going crazy cause he is now locked up for many years of his remaining life , his family has been destroyed almost compleatly all the money he has made will never revive his dead brother and other family members crime does have a big price to be paid and that price is not worth it the money you will make .

  13. Helen Adams Keller was an American author, political activist, and lecturer. She was the first deaf-blind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree. The RedemptionRedemption of General Butt Naked.......Joshua Milton Blahyi - aka General Butt Naked - a brutal warlord who murdered thousands during Liberia's horrific 14-year civil war. Today, the General has renounced his violent past and reinvented himself as Evangelist Joshua Milton Blahyi. This portrait takes viewers on Joshua's crusade to redeem his past, as he confronts his victims and attempts to rehabilitate the former child soldiers who once fought for him. Whatever you make of him -- liar or madman, charlatan or genuine repentant -- the film challenges viewers to ask important questions about both the power and the limits of forgiveness, amid a nation's search for healing and justice. Jajaja there is the rest of the story.....

  16. Since the prosecution is using "magical math", I want a check for the "madness" all these numbskulls post here. The diagnosis is simple for el Mochomo. When the sun gets things hot, time to head to the cave, and don't forget the load your carrying.

  19. This is not standard practice...far from it. If you read the document evidence that is sealed had to be considered by the judge.
