Jalisco: Federal agents discover military grade weapons cache at CJNG camp

Lucio R. Borderland Beat material from PGR website

It is uncertain why the attorney general is referring to this as a "dismantling of a major cell" as only 3 persons were arrested, but the weapons seized was an impressive find for such a small camp.

Message presented by Elizabeth Hernandez the Head of the Specialized Investigation of Crimes against Health Unit.

Mexico City

"Good morning ... friends, friends from the media, thanks for joining us ...
In a coordinated effort between the Attorney General's Office, the Mexican Army and the Federal Police of the National Security Commission managed to dismantle a major (CJNG) cell of a criminal organization that operates in the state of Jalisco.
Near the town of Las Palmas, in the municipality of Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, operatives were able to locate a camp, wherein  a group of heavily armed people were discovered.
This armed group, realizing the presence of federal agents opened fire against them with heavy weapons, causing federal agents to repel the attack.
Realizing they were outnumbered the attackers fled, which began a chase that ended with the arrest of three of them, each carrying a weapon, two of which had 40 mm caliber grenade launchers."

In the makeshift camp, federal agents secured:

- 6 rifles (long)
- 2 short
- 3 RPG
- 3 of .50 caliber Barreta
- 40 of 40 mm grenades
- 15 grenades for RPG
- 7 hand grenades
- 88 gun chargers (clips) of various calibers
- 2,294 rounds of ammunition of different calibers.

"The Deputy Attorney Specialized Investigation of Organized Crime (SEIDO), through the Specialized Crimes Against Health Unit, initiated a preliminary investigation against these persons for their alleged criminal responsibility in the commission of an offense of  carrying  weapons lawfully designated for exclusive use of the  Navy and Air Force, and Army.
For the crimes mentioned above, the prosecutor of the Federation exercised criminal action against the accused before the First District Judge of Criminal Proceedings Federal in the state of Jalisco, residing in Puente Grande.  The accused are now inmates  in the CEFERESO (prison)  number 06 in Huimanguillo, Tabasco."

The Mexican Attorney General (PGR) confirmed the capture of Marco Tulio Carrillo Grande “Marlon” by federal forces on Monday.

    1. The word in Spanish is cargador which translates to charger/battery charger but when it's being used in relation to weapons its translation is magazine/clip

But your are so trolling pal, and I would have just added the term used in U.S. and not have posted your comment.

BTW I guess you don't know what a charger looks like either, since there is a foto and not took difficult to figure out. Oh excuse me I mean photograph.

    6. Hey Chivis I have a question, if you can answer before CJNG became big they were part of el Cartel del Milenio. I read on youtube that the reason Nazario Moreno Gonzalez did not kill Mencho and Los Cunnis when he could have and just kicked them out of Michoacan was a very important one he could have killed them but he didn't do you know why?

      Delete
    7. I can only guess that he listened to chango. chango and mencho were/are very tight along with the siblings sierra santana who became viagras. rather than killing mencho he thought, mistakenly, that he would be controlled if kicked out of michoacan. anyway that is my guess

  5. This just means that they set up another home made factory! How many are out there? Good luck Mexico you are losing the battle.

  6. Apparently no one respect Mencho in Jalisco. His people are getting jacked up all over the state.

  14. this "camp" was IMO was planned as a quick staging spot in the midst of transporting. Tents were fashioned of sheet plastic. this was not a real cartel camp.

  15. The truth is its just 3 criminals because cjng is the only active cartel that makes more than half of the weapons and ammo that they use..so maybe they will miss the fifty CAL berretas and RPGs..I'm sure they have more stashed elsewhere ..

They Use It For "Show" And Intimidation Purposes ... Sorry Lucio, Valor, Chivis And Other BB Followers If I Offended Anyone ...

    2. There was a story here how cjng are making their own guns for your info. You don't need much training for a 50 cal, I shot a few in the military, if You can follow the bullets you can hit your target. That's how they shot down the chopper in jalisco when they tryied to catch mencho.

    4. 10:10 attaboy, there is the pudding on the cake, all the cjng suffered was mass murder planted on Tanhuato that the mexican government is desperately "classifying" for five years...

  17. these were not made in a gun factory by CJNG! I’m not positive, but it looks like hardware from the old Vietnam days. Someone is doing an international gun running hustle and it could be us (the USA). Foul, I say.

    2. 10:13 the gun connects have the government connects, they have the money to buy everybody, the narcos only have to fork some a lot of their hard earned billions of dollars for the weapons they are sold as part of the deal...

  19. Las Palmas is where they raise some impressive horses and is known to be a Narco controlled town. It's about 30 minutes outside of Puerto Vallarta on the way to that magical town San Sebastian De Oeste where the narcos abushed the state police a few months back. I hope this region doesn't fall into chaos like Acapulco has over the past decade. It's always been safe and nice all around without many incidents.
