Translated for Borderland Beat from a Milenio article by J. Cheever Loophole

The State Attorney General informs that an operation carried out in the town of Cuauhtemoc achieved the detention of Cesar Ivan Guttierrez Chavez, alias "El Sonric's".

Cesar Ivan Guttierrez Chavez, alias "El Sonric's"

Agents of the State Police of Chihuahua, detained a presumed leader of La Linea, and discovered a field with 84 hectares of poppy, as well as a camp and various amounts of drugs and controlled medication.

The Prosecutor General of the State (FGE), detailed the actions deployed in several regions of the state, reported that in the operation which took place in the Municipality of Cuauhtemoc, Elements of the operation detained Cesar Chavez Gutierrez Chavez, alias "El Sonric's".

Together with the suspect, who is considered to be a leader of a criminal group in this region, elements also detained Erick Apodaca Trevizo. They also report that "El Sonric's" offered a bribe of 20,000 dollars to the State elements to leave him at liberty.

"El Sonriic's" is accused of committing homicides and kidnapping people who are rivals to his band of dealers and independent dealers, while Apodaca Trevizo is the main distributor in Cuauhtemoc and surrounding areas, they confirmed.

Erick Apodaca Trevizo

The subjects were travelling in a Jeep on the streets of Margarita Maza and Cascada de Cusarare in the Basaseachi Colonia. During the arrest they found 29 wraps of cocaine rocks, and 11 wraps of powder, with the initials NCDJ (Nuevo Cartel de Juarez).

For the other part, Agents of the Prosecutor General of the State with, Jorge Gonzalez Nicolas, destroyed a poppy field of more than 84 hectares, located close to the community of Arroyo Largo in the town of Guadelupe and Calvo.

The site superficially was divided into 8 plantations with a density of 10 plants per metre squared, with a total of 840,000 plants, it was discovered by agents carrying out hiking tours in this region.

Finally elements located the camp of Villa Coronado, Chihuahua, is very close to the state boundary with Durango. The people who were protecting the camp fled when they realised the police were closing in, with fresh perishable food still in the camp.

The agents secured 7 large black bags with 36 kilos of Marijuana inside, 7 small bags of cocaine, a short firearm in 10mm calibre, Municipal Police Uniforms, three scales, and 197 doses of a controlled medicine.

The investigation revealed that the medicine and the drugs were being utilised to refine the cocaine further to obtain the best quality for the number of doses, concluded the FGE.

  3. You would think they would go in with tracking dogs to chase down the runners. But that would be too easy.

    1. It was a sting, not a massacre, they do not use dogs because they were not fighting black African American troublemakers, like that there Luther King or Malcolm X...

    3. It's history, my dear cherrypie, dogs were used on peaceful civil rights marchers, who were labeled troublemakers by among others the FBI, who also is accused of killing Luther King, AND nobody needed Cee Lo Green coming up with a pretty song like FU...

  4. Amazing what the NSA can do these days. Pendejo liders are falling like flies because of cellular interception and voice recognition supercomputers. And no, what I write is not guesswork. The NSA sorts and organizes voices even those of halcones and cell tower locations instantly. And here you thought all these jefebusts are just plain good luck. Silly Rabbit.

    1. Wow!!!!!!!! I guess the USA is not as bad and corrupt as some posters were saying a few days ago...

It is great that these thugs and criminals are going down!! Maybe if we get enough of them cleaned up - someone will come to the aid of Dr. Mireles...

Now if the government and judicial system will just KEEP THEM IN JAIL!!!

    2. Actually that happens to the US citizens. The government is only getting tips from recently captured criminals to get a higher up. It's not a coincidence that one falls and maybe a couple weeks or a month later the higher up gets arrested. That technology is saved for Americans to spot "terrorists". The last time a major face recognition took place the United States took and saved photos of every single person attending a concert "just in case they commit a crime". Jefe busts are just good police work with some Intel from the US.

    6. No bro the USA is still the most corrupted country in the world. How do you think we went from being a third world country too being one of the best. Don't think by being straight. Of course the USA doesn't mess with their citizens like other countries do but trust me other countries feel the wrath of the USA. When we invaded Iraq we invaded their women as well. USA soilders are some of the dirtiest out there and it only gets dirtier when you climb up the politics(DEA ICE CIA ect.). True talk.

  11. Hey the NSA can listen in on my phone calls all they want. I am not talking crime on my phone. Everyone is so up in arms over it. If they will prevent the death of me or my loved ones than do it. I think they would find my calls quite tedious. lol Also one comment said this is fake. I find that hard to believe. They have all these singers getting shot and killed there. Who needs them? Obviously cartel members are singing enough for everyone when they are caught. They are not happy being and custody and will have anyone they can get caught join them.

  12. The math does not add up. 84 hectares equals 840000 square meters. With 10 plants per square meter, would equal 8.4 million plants. 84 hectares equals 207.5 acres. How could the agents on the hiking tours not stumble across the site? the 84 hectares divided into 8 plantations would equal 105000 square meters per plantation. Google earth could spot this.
