Judge denies "El Chapo" amparo

Translated for Borderland Beat from a Zetatijuana article by J. Cheever Loophole

The Second Unitary Court of the Twelth District denied the amparo of Federal Justice, to the drug trafficker Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera.

Joaquin Archivaldo Guzman Loera "El Chapo"

The imprisoned leader of the Cartel de Sinaloa intended to combat the detention order confirmed by the First Unitary Court of Sinaloa on charges arising from his capture on February 22nd, 2014 in Mazatlan.

The formal processing of Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman Loera was upheld for his alleged responsibility in the commission of crimes and possession of firearms for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces, and Ammunition also reserverd for exclusive use the Armed Forces.

First was the Tenth District Judge in the State of Sinaloa, who on the 10th of March 2014 ordered that the Capo be detained, after he was caught at the Miramar Condo in Mazatlan. Followed shortly after by the First Court of Sinaloa that confirmed that decision on April 30th of that year.

Guzman Loera obtained an injunction to overturn the formal arrest and imprisonment warrant from 30th June, but the injunction had an improper basis with legal motivation. A Judge of the First Unitary Court again  declared formally against "El Chapo" on November 14th.

Against this resolution, the Sinaloan Capo moved a new Justice Guarantee that has now been denied, a Second Unitary Court Judge ruled that the evidence is legally sufficient and effective to prove the body of the crime and probable responsibility.

The firearms and bullets found on Joaquin Archivaldo when he was detained together with his "secretary", Carlos Manuel Hoo Ramirez were a 40mm grenade launcher, a single grenade for this type of launcher, a FN Herstal 5.7 mm pistol known in Mexico as Matapolicia ( cop killer), a .38 super revolver, a rifle of .223 calibre ( probably a AR15 variant), 60 rounds of ammunition for the FN Herstal 5.7mm mata policia, and 24 rounds of .223 calibre ammunition, among others.

"El Chapo" Guzman has reserved the right to declare anything in relation to these charges, however when questioned by the Federal Prosecutor, he replied that he doesnt not belong to any cartel, that he is a farmer who does not know anyone involved in organised crime and that it is not his desire to denounce anyone. He also emphasized that the staff involved in his arrest respected his human rights.

If people feel la tuta had shit on michocans politicos. That is j ust 1 state. Now consider chapo and the cds they were in whole other level of corruption.

  10. Chapo has fooled the world once again. I know for a fact that is his clone, just like the Beatles who replaced Paul Mcartney with his Canadian clone soonafter he died and still have the world fooled, Chapo paid off his clone and his whole family from Guatemala to replace him if things got heated. Do your research people Chapo is happy and well smoking a fat rooster in the Sierra Madre mtns of Sinaloa raising chickens and growing chickpeas. With a net worth of 50+Billion dollars he paid the forensics team who confirmed his DNA 150 Million to lie, and well, the Mexican govt. is still under his payroll of 2.5 Billion anually. Open ur eyes people it's a win-win for everbody including the USA as can be seen in the recent mex cartel documentary by BBC. Then again...u might get blinded by the light.

This dude is full of something, it's his fault that Mexico has a domestic drug problem. Also ,they should put 24|7 video of him in jail. There's no way in hell that he spends the whole time there. How are the lawyers being paid? How did this farmer get soo much money? Let's see the accounting. This is all about political power house games. Have him extradite d already.

  23. Much respect for the man. He might have killed, sold drugs and be an icon for Mexican drug crime but it's all a shit load of propaganda that has people hating this business man. He's killed masses of people and children? How man have country's killed in bombings. He sales drugs? What about you reading this after picking up your Perscriptions of oxy. All in all of drugs were legal like alcohol then he would have built a legal empire. Prohibition once existed and during that era man were viewed as criminals and killers but those same people lead the way so that you could enjoy a cold one on the weekends. The war on drugs isn't a war on crime it's two different things. at the end of the day there truely is no right or wrong because in the future this person you consider a criminal will most likely be viewed as an icon and honestly respect him for growing up in poverty and becoming what he has. Just enjoy the comment and not Internet gangster or whatever you want to state on my comment. Truth is I'm not here to debate but honestly pay some respect to the man. How many people are employed and actually enjoying and upper or upper middle class class life due to him that would not have been able to. mucho respecto!

Regardless you have to respect Chapo and those in his organization because while your going to work in your Bmw as I, we both know that deep inside you would not make it a day under the stress and violence these people go through. LIke I stated I'm not here to trash talk just simply open the eyes of those that believe they are better then these traffickers. Truth is that they lay it all on the line daily for there families. Much respect and haha don't be afraid debate says it all. Can't imagine fighting for a deal and simply making your argument "oh he's a moron"
