The Debut of El Chapo?

Someone sent me this photo above for comparison to the video and another previous picture of El Chapo, is it the capo?

There is a video making its rounds around the internet where Joaquín “El Chapo” Guzmán is apparently seen interrogating a man. The video is of low quality and very hard to see any detail. Can anyone truly say for certain that it is El Chapo? I doubt it, as El Chapo has been very elusive and pictures of him are few and outdated.

In the video the person wearing dark pants, white shirt and baseball cap, the supposed alleged El Chapo Guzman, is standing asking questions of a man (Lopez Nuñez?) who is sitting and this man is providing information about a rival criminal group that is supposed to be operating in Mazatlan and Zacatecas.

This video has a duration of 1 minute 44 seconds, but does not include any reference to the place and date it was recorded, and most important the dark grainy face of the alleged man conducting the interview does not give clear evidence of the capo of the Sinaloa Cartel. Weigh in, por favor!

Here is the content of the interview:

Kidnapped: ...their money, they sent them a phone.
Chapo Guzmán: Who are they?
Kidnapped: Our people were around there, Emiliano, the one that got killed yesterday.
Chapo Guzmán: Oh, that mother fucker was a group boss? He was the boss of Mazatlan?
Kidnapped: No, the Colombiano, the Colombiano gave orders to him.
Chapo Guzmán: Where is the Colombiano right now?
Kidnapped: In Los Mochis.
Chapo Guzmán: So the whole band of assholes is in Los Mochis?
Kidnapped: Yes.
Chapo Guzmán: So we have to get that damn bitch [to get] all the vatos. And in Mazatlan where is she?
Kidnapped: For real I don't know, but the one that picks them up is the one that died yesterday.
Chapo Guzmán: Those from Zacatecas are in Mazatlan as well?
Kidnapped: Yes those from Zacatecas are the ones in the fields.
Chapo Guzmán: And in Los Mochis?
Kidnapped: There is also people from Zacatecas, Juanjo and El Oso.
Chapo Guzmán: Where are the people from Zacatecas?
Kidnapped: In Los Mochis and right now here in Los Limones.
Chapo Guzmán: You are not lying to me? A while ago you told me they were in Mazatlan.
Kidnapped: It's that yesterday they got here, and from here they sent them to the fields.
Chapo Guzmán: How many are there?
Kidnapped: I don't know how many there are, but they were coming in various trucks towards Los Mochis.
Chapo Guzmán: So they already sent all [your] people to Los Mochis?
Kidnapped: Yes.
Chapo Guzmán: And to Nayarit?
Kidnapped: I don't know señor.
Chapo Guzmán: But people did go to Nayarit?
Kidnapped: Yes señor the twenty [of them].

There is also a letter dated February 28, 2012 that makes reference of El 50 - M-1, El Fantasma - M-Z and Bravo - Chapo. It is signed by Licensiado Damaso. It ends with "Note - Do not forget to filter "El Bideo" (video) and "las fotos" (photographs).

Letter thanslated by one of the BB readers:
"Valued friends Today is a day with lots of advantages for what we have planned the big bosses are very stressed and must feel trapped we are the only ones with any authority talk to your boys(people).we have very little time left i have been insisting on our plan for a long time dont forget you are the one's that made them big those who now only enjoy pleasures and betray us.this is always more disturbing ,lets see if now you believe me,remember who will betray who: 50-M1, Fantazma to MZ , Bravo-Chapo ps dont forget to filter video and pictures or blog"

  1. old video with unknown goal; The Colombian mentioned in video was killed in august 2011 in Mazatlan. The man looks the same as he did 10 yrs ago. He would never let anybody video tape him let alone carry powered cel. phones around him. Looks staged. Miss-information has started.

  2. BS. I'm reading everywhere that this video/letter was a zeta/BLO creation. To me it's a fake.

That's the truth. That's why they rely on VHF radios for communication. A cell phone could pinpoint his location.

  7. As rich as Chapo is you would think he would have a new hat by now. Wow, he doesn't age either!

    Has to be a fake.

  8. Look at the way he stands with his feet pointed out and his stance is wide. This is just as he stood in front of those reporters while he was in prison. If he is a fake, he has got his body language down very well. Also, notice the one one profile shot we are given and compare it to the profile shot on the internet of him dancing with that lady. It looks identical.

  10. That video on Mundo Narco is not clearer, it is darker and the big words block a lot of the scene. What is the connection of the letter and what is Buggs trying to suggest about the content of it?

    ReplyDelete
  11. The video is not fake, you can tell by the way he talks. When he was arrested in Puente Grande he was interviewed by reporters briefly, and he has the same tone of voice.

Yeah the video is like a year old,El Colombiano was one of the plaza bosses for the Beltran Leyvas in Mazatlan,he died in a shootout with Mexican Marines.
The content of the letter is what really catches my attention. What does the word Fonora mean??

    ReplyDelete
  12. Not Fonora but, , ,

"Kien pondra a kien" The person writing the letter is using a lot of slang, who will finger who? then the names are given of the Sinaloa current bosses along with the issue of the video and photos, that is what Buggs is alluding to?

Looks like a treason among the ranks to me!

    ReplyDelete
  13. The letter is talking about the leak of the video, to be careful and screen all pictures and videos, and says who is next to go public (with the names of the top Sinaloa bosses), that is the relevance of the letter Buggs is ALLUDING to.

  14. El Chapo is not stupid he knows he has to remain in the shadows in order to survive. He has very few photo's of himself so what makes anyone think he would let someone shoot a video???

Its b.s. its not El Chapo but someone posing as him.

  15. Lol....Funny ass video. CHAPUTO and MIADOS own people have turned against them for betraying them not surprising.

Hopefully the Underdogs get rid of CHAPUTO and MIADO and leave them tied-up naked together on a tree!....

  17. That Lic. Damaso has to many misspellings he needs to go back to school. I think is all fake.

Why will el Chapo make a video like this one whit a crappy ass camera?.

  18. That is not chapito as he stands against one of the pillars to the palapa notice his height in comparison to the palapa. He is only 5'5" can't be a 6' palapa.

  20. Does Chapo even get his hands dirty like this? Even if its not him in the video, I wonder if he still interogates people. He is supposedly very hands on so i guess so

    ReplyDelete
  21. If that's not him that's an Oscar worthy performance. I think it's him, you guys are making up too many excuses. Maybe it's a cellphone without service or some other cheap recording device or the video has been converted there are several possibilities.

    ReplyDelete
  22. What everybody here should be talking about is that letter... I highly doubt any of this is real, because of that letter. The man who supposedly wrote it, El Licenciado Damaso Lopez, is supposed to be the right band man of el Chapo. He is an educated man that would at least know how to spell. He and his father served as law officials in the state of Sinaloa in their hometown of El Dorado. El Lic, as he is better known by, also served as head of the prison of Puente Grande at the time el Chapo escapes, yet the media never ever reported any of that. His son El Mini Lic, or Damaso Lopez Jr. the third, is also well known in the Narco Jr celebrity scene, he has dozens of corridos

  23. It is him, like people said look ay the old picture, look at him nhe does have thwarted body language like when they caught him before. Now im sure he interrogated this dude probably because it was priority. And to shw he still top dog, no need for dudes surrounding the victim with aks aiming and hiding ,he simply walked around asking question n if u look at his movements ,he does look relaxed and at the sametime looking out and anxious. To me is not fake,But Then again i wasn't there can only speculate.
What in eager to know is about the letter ,it sounded to me like people want to take over leadership,to help easy top dogs.

  24. I think this video is real. Who cares if he's holding a cell phone. Trust me the Mexican Government and the US know exactly where El Chapo is.

  31. Haha I love hearing everyone’s opinion. That camera footage was found on some idiot who had been recently killed by marines. That is definitely el senor Guzman. (And to people who are going to talk smack on my facts. I respect your opinion. lol) Right now there is big problem within Sinaloa Cartel, too many people talking, or not paying back in full their shipments. I’m talking bout the shipments that Guzman himself distributes to the boys. The person who receives the smallest is one of his old bodyguards and I believe that shipment is bout 2 million cash back that should come back to chapo. But lately things haven’t been going as smooth as that.

There have been talks of cleaning out the bad apples. And right now everyone seems to be talking bout chapo because no ones knows if they will be the next to go since this is the name of the game. Betrayal…….

As for the colombiano. I have never met the same colombiano. That nickname is given to anyone who is from Colombia. Or given to the man handling the cocaine pipeline from "columbia" (very important)
(On a side note this is why Mexicans are starting to try and lock down directly from Peru to knock out the middleman "colombiano" but this is still in the works not enough merchandise yet so they must still rely on old methods.)

Columbia drug lords don't trust Mexicans I can not stress this enough!!!!! They will always have 99.9% have ONE man handling that pipeline for that cartel dealing. And that man deals directly with the head meaning CHapo or Azul. Very rarely zambada. Zambada handles other matters can not touch on here till I see BB post something regarding those matters. Lets say chapo or azul die or out the game. Colombiano doesn't go to Zambada it goes to surviving brother/sister of chapo or azul. But if family decides to let Zambada handle these matters. That's another deal and would probably result in completely new cartel and restructuring.

    (and to people who thinks that columbians are NOT in on the war in mexico hahahahahahaha your a fucking joke. Only difference is that they align themselves with the cartel they are dealing with. And usually they dont have squads they send lone assassins for particular missions ONLY. But I have heard first hand (with my own ears in the same room) when shit goes wrong and Columbians offer assistance to Narco to get rid of their problem.) { Part 1 of 3}

  32. Its not how people think it is. All complicated and shit. Its very straight forward and has been done the same way since Ive been a little child and first time I remember seeing ten million in cash, 12 million in pesos, 18 million in quetzal and about 6 trucks full of perico. And this was just a normal Tuesday. The hardest part really is staying alive. Second hardest part is for the Mexicans. Having to cross it over and that is simply a joke because of the volume that its imported in.

This game is controlled by very few and the only way these men can be taken from power is not by force. Its by stop acting stupid and find out the little town they live in (which people know already) and start offering the poor people something else to look forward too. Start with building schools to keep the kids busy, as well as sports, art, and music then social services, and then find a way to give all those uneducated people a job. And every now and then have a free celebration for everyone to enjoy and be a part of. Its harder said then done.

So when a top Narco. Goes to his neighbor juan and says. We need a new road and Fuck the government I want to build it now. Can you help me juan Ill pay you $$$$$$$. You immediately get your men together and let me know what you need. ITs this easy with a man that is a narco. On the other hand lets wait till governor "selfish" stops giving contracts to his sisters husband. So he can have time to come to our little town he doesnt even know he governs and see if he can approve a new road in ten years. Which option would you go with???

A lot of YOU kids need to learn some culture. And realize that when you talk shit about something its usually because there is something you don't understand. This is a culture just like anything else. And my guess is that its not going anywhere. It has been here since our great nation the U.S.A. was even a nation. All we've done is fucked it up for everyone who really isn't on top leadership. And the people who fucked that up is exactly those same people on the bottom. Whyyy????? You ask???????

    No one has culture any more. Traditions are a thing of the pass. All kids now a day might be smarter then their elders BUT they lack knowing when too shut the fuck up. Or when to act up and speak up!! Or who are the real people they should be loyal to?? Respecting elders even if you dont respect their views. And waiting till your moment is given so you can prove your point and not be stepping on every old mans toes. {part 2 of 3}

  33. As for el senor Chapo Guzman. That is him in the Video to all the people who wanted to see a current video of him. Well this is a current as your going to get. Until he retires or gets retired.

These men aren't untouchable but very respected by the people that surround them. This is why he cant be caught because the pussies who really want to get him. Are in their office jacking off benefiting from the benefits from both sides. You guys know who you are and you guys are scum. Not because of what you do. But because of the fucking hypocrisy. You are lying to the people your suppose to be protecting. And using all those powers for selfish reasons and just doing enough to not get impeached from office. You people are the true scum of our society and I don't have to tell you it because you know it already. People like me die happy because I am real and speak what I do. I can't speak for everyone but I do speak from a point of view in which I respect the drug dealing game and don't know why its illegal. Too many innocent people are affected when you are dealing with illegal contraband. And thats Why I think it should be legalized. But then again your government officials would really be hurting financially after that happens haha this shit is ridiculous,

Im back to where I started. THis shit will never end. But what can happen, lets fucking clean it up again. And make it about drugs again. Stop all the fucking around and thinking you are military commandoes taking over your land that rightfully belongs to you. We are drug dealers and this is it. Sell your drugs and keep it clean. While we let the goverment keep their old dirty ways.

  36. Gizzle, only thing i can 100% confirm is that connection you talk about regarding Colombians, or any other coke producion national, and the Chapo Guzman/Azul Esparragosa connection. It is a known fact in South America not to trust either Zeta, Zambada, or Arellano lines. Zambada family is known to not pay colombians. The Arellano and Zeta lines, well i dont think I have to explain why.

  39. MIRA VIEJO. Ill say it in english so a majority can understand.

unlawful fees, kidnappings, extortion, car thefts, theft of travelers in local buses, just plain theft, and assassination of immigrants. Name one dam country that doesn't have this??? Not even your holy Rome is exempt from this evil.

Evil and Good. Is what makes the world go round not money dummy. You as an individual find out who you are. And be one hundred on it.

I can tell you this. Not one living soul on this earth is 100% evil or good. But what truely make a good man in our universe is finding that balance.

So know that Im done with the spiritual explanation. Let me give you the one you were looking for. "Cobro de piso" wont happen in any place that its citizens feel they are protectected in. (Government problem) and in these towns already they don’t pay taxes to the country, state, or even locally. Which they would be forced to and at even higher rates where government is functioning.

kidnappings from my own experienceres. This has happened to me, myself. Where I have lost relatives. The funny part is that I always end up finding out that the people that kidnapped my relative are relatives themselves. Again, the explanation of evil and being true to oneself. So what do i do in this situation. I still dont have an answer my friend. as to the random kidnappings that unfortunatly happen to innocent people. This is strickly poor people striking on apportunity alone. Can you blame them? I can assure you they don’t strike at people that don’t make themselves easy targets.

Theft on local busses. This problem if it does lead back to a cartel. Its not top bosses this is there local idiots. Who are more dispensable footsoldiers than regional managers. ( on a side note having to have soldiers to fight war in a cartel is fucking ridiculous. And NO need for it) They use to have small unit of body guards now they are better protected than the president and have more current relevant intelligence on them!!!! ) This is unacceptable and the reason I say give them legalization. Reduces our profits and prevents us from being above the law.

Same reason with just plain theft. It’s a poor issue striking on pure opportunity. I have seen towns, I have experienced it, where the fear of being killed just for a petty theft. But I have also seen these poor men rise to high narco power. And they themselves don’t know why they are in power. But I do see it, is because they offer all the conveniences of a government and instantly. With out the political bullshit. And they clean up the crime rate, they offer people jobs, which gives the people a sense of opportunity to improve their lives.

The assassination of imigrants. Happens in every country that has immigrant problem. Whether is just because they are not locals and people tend to be unwelcoming to misunderstandings. Or its pure bad luck and they happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. And a humane instinct would be if you had to dispose of something. Dispose of that, which has no connection to you. And this is complety WRONG. And I don’t agree with it. But it is human reaction. But this tends to be a bigger problem where poverty is high.

What Im trying to say. These men have no borders. And I see us focusing on the wrong problems as a society. Give them what they want its money. And mark my words evil and good will balance out again.

This world is too big for one group to control it all. But this world is much too small for all of us to act like idiots and think the world stays the same. And can’t see the changes that are blindly happening in front of your eyes. Wake up

    Gizzle

  41. The CDG messed up everything recruiting ex military and creating Los Zetas who in turn think that being hyper violent is a good business model when the truth is that hyper violent shit has done nothing but ruin everything... Before innocent people were not harmed, women and children were safe for the most part... There was a code of ethics among cartel members... Now it has all gone to shit and ruined everything and is slowly taking down the entire country of Mexico... What I dont understand is when its so easy to see that what Los Zetas are doing is ruining everything why do they still continue with the hyper violence and doing the very things that do nothing but continue to ruin everything? Some say that the so called leaders of those cartels are smart men then why does it seem to be the exact opposite?

They are going to continue using that senseless hyper violence and pick at the border until they finally piss off the U.S. enough and they send in military intervention and then all hell is going to break loose and all the criminal cartels lose in the end, what is so smart about that? It is the dumbest thing I have ever heard... Cartel suicide? You can bet sure as the sun will rise tomorrow that the U.S. will not tolerate for one minute the hyper violent crap that they are doing in Mexico...

The idiotic hyper violent business model of Los Zetas has done nothing but ruin the entire country of Mexico and it has done nothing but ruin any chances of any of the cartels having much more of a future so then why arent the cartels that were around before Los Zetas joining together and eradicating that cancer once and for all? All of the criminal cartels are going to be held accountable for the hyper violent actions of Los Zetas...

They created the cancer that is now slowly killing the entire country of Mexico and if let to run wild will eventually lead to the destruction of all the DTO's operating in mexico and the entire South American regions because when the U.S. injects military force it will not stop with just Mexico, no they learned from when they stopped Gen. George S. Patton from continuing on into Russia when he had the chance...

The bottom line is when they created Los Zetas all good sense went down the toilet... If they do not band together and do something soon the beginning of the end is not that far off...

  46. What I hear half of Sinaloa saying is fuck the higher ups, not stating that the letter is real, but just an overall unsatisfaction because of their betrayals. Mostly from the MZ camp, nobody trusts the old
Man anymore and are left wondering where is the protection in Culiacan when you have half of las antrax getting killed. Then you have the infamous M1 robbing meth labs and marijuana plantations stating "it's for the cause.". Their people are all left wondering what el niño is saying, after the reports where he admits, yes I was cooperating with the DEA. Then the coupe de grâce, the betrayal of el Mochomo, the main reason of this war. Even el Macho Prieto Gonzalo Inzuzna decided to abandon ship.

The Chapo camp meanwhile is still pretty much strong and united by what I hear. None the less they still question the old mans authority from time to time

    ReplyDelete
  47. If it's not him, the man deserves an Oscar for the performance because even his " lingo " in the conversation is of like someone of the old school of the Northern Sinaloan region. It resembles alot of what the pictures of him look like. Maybe some professional analysts can chime in?

And on the letter it's weird and contradicting. But the licensiado could also refer to any educated person in Mexico. In Mexico many who have studied further in their education sub name themselves Ing. y Lic....etc...

Why would Chapo film an interrogation? Who knows? But Gizzle does provide a different insight on the Narco culture. It has been interesting so far.

  50. Chapo has plenty of money so its not impossible for him to have his own nutritionist,I mean the guy looks very healthy.

When Arturo Beltran died his nutritionist and another girl that gave masages was with him.

    ReplyDelete
  51. @Gizzle I will say you are a drug trafficker, and you ask for the legalization of drugs for you own benefit, not for the benefit of others.

At one time in Mexico, drug cartels did whatever they want it, the authorities didn't mess with them and that is exactly how they got so powerful.

Kidnapping increased in Mexico because of organized crime, it wasn't strictly poor people striking on an opportunity alone as you are saying, it is people whit organized crime connections doing the kidnappings.

Having to have soldiers to fight a war against a cartel is not fucking ridiculous, the problem was the police got corrupted at the highest levels and they were not reliable. Legalizing drugs will not reduce your profits it will just reduce the chances of you getting arrested and paying for your crimes.

You said some narcos don't know why they are in power. But you do see it, is because they offer all the conveniences of a government and instantly. With out the political bullshit. Exactly what type of benefits you are talking about? Because I have seen busynesses close down because they couldn't pay the stupid quota.
Narcos don't build roads, schools, hospitals and other institutions to help regular people.

You said the assassination of immigrants happens in every country that has immigrant problem. You are totally wrong about that, it has only happened recently because of the power of organized crime, they are looking for lucrative ways of making money at all cost.

You said these men have no borders. Well I think that was, because for many years they have had the protection of corrupted officials, if el PAN stays in power little by little they will loose that privilege and eventually they will be killed.

Whit the assistance of the U.S. Mexico will be successful. When I said assistance, I'm talking about training, technology, and intelligence. I believe in my Mexican people. Criminal organizations are only affecting the opportunities of development and they are pushing investors out of our country.

lol, los anthrax are disposable, they really are nothing more than glorified sicarios with narco corridos.

el macho prieto was tied up and ready to be executed by el chapo cuz hes been fucking up a lot lately but luckily for him el mayo intervened on his behalf and sent him down to do some business in tijuana.

and for the people asking why would el chapo allow someone to video tape him... the video was obviously recorded without his permission.

as for the video itself, people close to the business say it indeed might be el chapo but the video is from a couple of years ago.

  60. Not sure if anyone has noticed but in the video El Chapo seems to be wearing the same kind of shoes as the picture where he is next to that old man holding the guns. Also in the background of the picture you can see Pelapa hut style sheds same as the video.

  70. EDUCATION ITS THE BEST WAY TO STOP CRIME SMART PEOPLE DONT JOIN THE CARTELS FOR MONEY THERE IS NO PRIDE TO THAT ITS NOT GOOD TO BE ON THE RUN ALL YOUR LIFE OR IN JAIL OR DEAD.

    ReplyDelete
  71. I don't know if it's him in the video or not, I don't even know if it's him in the yellow shirt picture, he looks so different compared to the footage of him in the early 90's. Maybe he has undergone surgery to change his appearance?

He seems to be one of the last charismatic cartel leaders and definitely the lesser evil of all these drug lords. I don't want to deny that he is probably responsible for some brutal crimes, but I think these were forced reactions to the sheer brutalness that was established by rival cartels.
