Good morning city of Puebla. This message is to reiterate that we the Jalisco New Generation Cartel will not allow any kind of monetary collections, extortion, kidnapping, or robbery. Much less will it be done in the name of our enterprise. If someone in Puebla tries to extort you by phone or in your home, business, etc., look for us.

We know that there are commanders from several different corporations that by orders of their superiors and even the governor himself are in agreement with these scumbags. These clowns will continue to be killed.

As well as those who support them. You have seen that this isn’t a game. And as for you, the authorities, you should already know that we have respect for you guys. But we don’t have any fear. Stop supporting these groups of scumbags. We know everything and we also have eyes everywhere.

Puebla: Human Remains Found In Barrels

Translated by Valor for Borderland Beat

Authorities in Puebla found human remains inside barrels in the municipality of San Andrés Calpan.  The discovery was confirmed by the district attorney’s office of the state on March 4.  The district attorney’s office also added that scientific analyses have been carried out to try to identify the victims.

The district attorney’s office stated that human remains belonging to 12 adult men were found in at least ten steel barrels.

“There are indications that suggest that the discovery is related to the investigation that began with events that happened in the Teatro del Pueblo in the municipality of Cuautlancingo, the place in which, as was previously reported, where police work was carried out along with the securing of several vehicles, after receiving the report of missing persons,” the district attorney’s office said.

In addition, authorities in Puebla arrested six men for their alleged responsibility for the crime of false statements, since the detainees “accommodated and looked after vehicles” on the day of the events in Cuautlancingo.

On March 1, the District Attorney’s Office of Puebla reported that at least three people disappeared after a shootout in Cuautlancingo.

The incident occurred during a cockfight, which was performed at the Teatro del Pueblo of Cuautlancingo, where “several people from different organizations” gathered for the cockfight.

For that reason, authorities took the statements of “various people” and 13 vehicles were secured at the location and the videos of the security cameras were requested, “considering that several subjects were shooting.”

Fed Up With Abuses, Poblanos Create Their Own Self-Defense Group

Neighbors from Chilac gather around the leader Francisco Alfaro

By: Gabriela Hernández
Inhabitants of the town of San Gabriel Chilac, southeast of the poblano (inhabitant of Puebla) territory, announced the formation of a self-defense group to be mentored and trained by their counterparts from Michoacán and will also be funded by poblanos living abroad.

Francisco Alfaro Rodríguez, spokesperson for the citizens group that make up the Common Front For Peaceful Civil Resistance (Frente Común de Resistencia Civil Pacífica (FCRCP)), said that they have been determined in creating this group in order to defend themselves from organized crime that plagues the region and that are in collusion with municipal and state security authorities.

Even though the spokesperson announced that a group of people will be traveling to Michoacán to receive training, the state government issued a report denying the existence of this self-defense group and announced that he’ll be sending elements in order to strengthen the security in San Gabriel Chilac.
