The five men were captured during a military helicopter operation in La Guamuchilera, where an arsenal was seized.

Five men, including an alleged leader of a criminal cell in the employ of "Los Chapitos," were sentenced to more than 10 years in prison after being captured in a massive military operation in Mocorito.

The Attorney General's Office (FGR), through the Specialized Prosecutor's Office for Organized Crime (FEMDO), reported that those sentenced are Esaú "Q," Luis "B," Juan "Z," Jimmy "B," and Librado "I."

The detainees received sentences of ten years, five months, and 29 days in prison for the crimes of carrying a firearm with aggravating circumstances and possession of magazines and cartridges for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces.

The arrest in Mocorito
According to the investigation file, the five "generators of violence" were arrested near the town of La Guamuchilera, Mocorito, during a military deployment involving helicopter gunships and special forces from the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena).

During the operation, Luis Alberto, alias "El Cañas," was captured. He was identified as the alleged leader of a "Los Chapitos" criminal cell and considered the right-hand man of Humberto Figueroa, alias "La Perris" or "El 27," a Sinaloa cartel affiliate.

That day, federal forces seized a significant arsenal, including five high-powered firearms, 11 fully loaded magazines, 1,412 live rounds of ammunition, two hand grenades, tactical vests, and two vehicles.

Everything was made available to the Federal Public Prosecutor's Office, which gathered sufficient evidence to secure a conviction against the suspects considered "generators of violence" in the central and northern regions of the state, linked to crimes that occurred in Culiacán and communities of Mocorito.

The District Judge determined that the convicted individuals must serve their sentences in the Aguaruto Penitentiary in Culiacán.

Sinaloa experienced a violent day, with up to 15 deaths reported at the start of the weekend.

José Maximiliano Insunza Ruiz, better known as "El Chochías" or "El 60," was captured by federal agents in the municipality of Navolato, Sinaloa. He is identified as an operative for Los Chapitos. At the same time, at least 15 people were reported dead in acts of violence in Sinaloa on Saturday.

Insunza Ruiz was arrested in the town of Campo Balbuena and in the municipality of Navolato. He is considered the right-hand man of Juan Carlos Bernal, alias "El 11," another operative of the criminal organization led by the sons of Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán. This individual was captured by members of the Navy (Semar).

Upon his capture, "El Chochías" was seized from a 9mm pistol with seven magazines and 54 cartridges, as well as 95 bags of a substance similar to marijuana and 103 bags of a substance resembling crystal meth. Everything seized was turned over to the Attorney General's Office (FGR).

In another operation carried out in Navolato, Sinaloa, two other people were arrested, according to information from the Sinaloa Public Security Secretariat (SSPE). These individuals, whose identities have been withheld, were seized: an AK-47 rifle, an M4 rifle, two handguns, and 10 magazines of various calibers.

These arrests are in addition to the violent incidents reported in Sinaloa on Saturday: at least 15 bodies were found in different parts of the state, according to a report by José Luis Echegaray, a correspondent for Radio Fórmula, in a link with Juan Becerra Acosta.

The events of the violent day were concentrated in the municipalities of Ahome and Culiacán, according to a Radio Fórmula correspondent. All of these incidents occurred one year after the capture of Ismael "El Mayo" Zambada, one of the founders of the Sinaloa Cartel and head of the "Los Mayos" or "Los Mayitos" faction.

At least 1,632 people have died in acts of violence since July 2024; in addition, 1,500 people have been reported missing. The violence has not only disrupted the lives of residents but also business owners, who are forced to close their businesses earlier.

In this past week, authorities announced the deployment of 1,800 Army personnel to reinforce security in Sinaloa. Security Secretary Omar García Harfuch stated that criminal organizations, such as Los Chapitos, have been "reduced" by the operations.

Interrogation videos continue to intensify as the La Chapiza or Los Chapos VS Mayo Flaco criminal groups continue to wage war on one another. The faith of the four interrogated Mayo Flaco "MF" gunmen has already been sealed, but before they meet their end, La Chapiza members are interrogated.

The MF commander captured by La Chapiza is Luis Alberto Sanchez Quintero. Moreover, El 19 is a lieutenant of Ismael Zambada Sicairos, "Mayo Flaco," leader of the Mayo Zambada criminal organization.

The four Mayo Flaco gunmen were allegedly captured near the syndicate Eldorado, Sinaloa, and it is important to add that the Eldorado Plaza is now controlled by the Mayo Flaco criminal organization. UpDate: Chapel Of The "Los Damaso" Family On The Verge Of Collapse, Criminals Once Again Attack The Chapel In Eldorado: Sinaloa

Culiacán, Sin.- Two days after the desecration and theft of two bodies from a chapel belonging to the family of Dámaso López, a video has circulated on social networks showing how the mausoleum is practically on the verge of collapse.

It was this morning, Wednesday, July 31, when a citizen managed to capture on video how the chapel looked completely desolate and destroyed, as if heavy machinery had been used to demolish the structure of the same.

According to investigations, the remains of Dámaso López Núñez's relatives rested in this building, namely Dámaso López García and Adolfo López Núñez, father and brother of 'El Licenciado', respectively.

This chapel had two luxury floors, was built on a clean land and with firm construction material, however, now there is only rubble around it, the railings that were placed on its sides are fallen, the windows and objects that were there when it was recently desecrated are no longer in place.

So far, no crime has been attributed to anyone responsible and no complaint has been filed. The State Attorney General's Office informed in a statement that the collapse and the exhumation of the bodies were already being investigated ex officio, but there is still no updated news on the case.

The event reached the President of the Republic himself, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, who indicated that the corresponding investigation was already underway.

Breaking News: Chapel Of The "Los Dámaso" Family In Eldorado, Culiacán Is Desecrated And Two Bodies Stolen: Sinaloa

Culiacán Sin.- The bodies of two people, apparently the brother and father of Dámaso López Núñez, captured in Mexico City in 2016 and later extradited to the United States, where he obtained his freedom, were illegally exhumed from the family chapel located between the Quilá and El Dorado syndicates on Sunday, July 28, in the southern sector of the municipality of Culiacán.

It was during Sunday evening when through the different digital platforms and social networks, videos began to circulate where reports were given about the desecration of the chapel located in the cemetery, located between the communities of Melon and Portacelli and where it was reported that the bodies resting there had been illegally stolen.

During the morning of Monday, July 29, the crime was confirmed upon finding the two-story luxury chapel built on a plot of land of approximately 20 meters in front by 40 meters deep, and which, at first glance, had severe damage to the interior doors and windows, as well as the desecration of two drawers where an equal number of bodies were resting in their respective coffins.

According to the data, to commit these acts they used all-terrain vehicles and a backhoe with which they tied steel cables to pull the doors and windows and thus destroy the ironwork and the security systems that were in the site, but it is unknown who or who were responsible for this fact.

At first glance, it could be seen by the signs at the site, that the tomb was visited regularly for religious ceremonies and maintenance of the site with luxury finishes and quarry, and by the traces found at the site, it is presumed that the bodies were taken and dragged to the outside where they were taken to a vehicle to be taken to an unknown destination.

Various news sites based out of Sinaloa have been able to confirm that the two stolen bodies from a grave inside a chapel are Damaso Lopez Garcia and Adolfo Lopez Nuñez, the father and brother of Damaso Lopez Nuñez "El Licenciado". The timing of the chapel and graves being destroyed has steered many to speculate of a connection between the fall of Mayo Zambada and Joaquin Guzman Lopez in El Paso, Texas.

The likely reason why the chapel of the Damaso family was destroyed and two bodies were stolen is because of a recent video made by Ocran Leaks who is believed to be Damaso Lopez Serrano "El Mini Lic".  Ocran Leaks on July 17, 2024, made a special episode dedicated to drug lords who are gay or bisexual. In this episode, Ocran Leaks stated that Raul Carrasco Lechuga "El Chore" was bisexual. Ocran Leaks (El Mini Lic) claimed that El Chore had a relationship with a famous gay person from Sinaloa. This statement allegedly led to extreme anger in those who worked under El Chore. Important to note, that Raul Carrasco Lechuga "El Chore" was killed in a military operation on June 23, 2024, and was a former Los Damaso underling. Ocran Leaks also claimed on this episode that Marcelino Ticante Castro "El Fantasma" former security chief of Joaquin Guzman Loera was bisexual.

Sadly, not even dead bodies are respected in another grisly chapter of the Los Damasos rivalry with Los Chapitos.
