Sources who asked to remain anonymous stated that the weaponry, which included rocket launchers seized by Mexican military special forces, belonged to a criminal cell directly involved with high ranking Los Chapitos member Oscar Noe Medina Gonzalez, "El Panu" a close associate of Ivan Archivaldo and Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar leaders of the Los Chapitos Cartel. El Panu or El Lobo is widely known as a Los Chapitos regional boss and even compadre of Ivan Archivaldo Guzman Salazar.

Black Friday: Violent day leaves 9 dead in central and southern Sinaloa

CHAR
JUNE 6, 2025

LUZ NOTICIAS

VIDEO TRANSLATION

A Friday, eh, that can be described as violent, a Friday where nine people have been executed in less than two hours. Information began arriving very early that two people had been executed on the Benito Juárez Highway near the town of Valbuena. Then another report arrived later that a person had been executed at the old toll booth near Culiacán, at the entrance to Culiacán.

Later, another report came that in San Pedro Navolato there was another execution, four in Guamuchilera on the highway toward Mocorito, a fifth executed, and also on the island in the city of Culiacán, in the La Isla sector, another execution, there were six, but in the community of Limón. This is in the southern part of Sinaloa. Three more people were also found executed in El Limón de los Perazas, San Ignacio, giving a total of nine people executed. In less than 2 hours, the morning was very hectic.

Yes, the truth is that the reports started coming in, and we're wondering what's happening in Sinaloa. So many different incidents in these locations, and in a very short time. In other words, it was an extremely violent morning. What we experienced here in the state was very violent this morning, and we're going to have this reunion, which we'll be able to describe as a Black Friday. In practically 2 hours, if you've asked yourself, "Violence has decreased in Sinaloa," well, let me tell you, it hasn't intensified.

May is the most violent month of 2025, and June, well, it's not looking good, it's looking very negative. And this day began with these two executed men who were found tied up on the side of the Benito Juárez Highway, known as La Costera, near the town of Valbuena, in the municipality of Navolato. The victims were Unidentified. This happened at 6 a.m. at kilometer 10 + 900 of the southbound lanes. One of the victims was of medium build, lying face down with his hands tied in front of him. He was wearing a navy blue shirt, jeans, and black calfskin sandals. The second victim was wearing a pink shirt, brown pants, was thin, and was approximately 70 years old. Thus, this practically violent day in Sinaloa began.

We have the full count of these nine people executed on the Ángel Beltrán line early Friday. We hear you, Ángel. Good afternoon. José. Likewise, the audience, indeed, as you already mentioned, for less than two hours, six men were found murdered in Nabolato, Mocorito, and Culiacán. This occurred in different incidents. Just minutes before 6:00 a.m., the discovery of two men was reported murdered on the shore of Benito Juárez, known as La Costera in the images of the town of Valbuena in the municipality of Navolato. National Guard agents responded to the scene immediately and indeed found the two men leaning against a tree on the side of the road, crossing the south-north lanes. These two men were not identified at the time of their discovery. They were tied up by the hands with their faces covered with clothing and shot with a rifle known as a "cuerno de chivo." When the bodies were transferred to the forensic medical service, one of them, the one you just mentioned, was identified by his relatives as Santos, 68 years old, who lived in the town of Patagón in the municipality of Naabolato. He was located along with this person and is
still under the protection of the forensic medical service. This man is approximately 30 to 35 years old. He was wearing a black, blue denim shirt and black cowhide sandals.

They were just reviewing the case. When another body was found on the old road leading to the town of Michoacán, in the municipality of Nabolato, near the town of Buenos Aires, this man was found lying face up on the side of the old road with a message on his body and gunshot wounds. This person was not identified and is now under the protection of the forensic medical service. At the same time, the body of another man was reported to have been found murdered at the old toll booth located on the Benito Juárez Highway near the La Estancia subdivision, also west of Culiacán. A man was found there wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt. The body was badly damaged and had gunshot wounds to the body and also to the At the same time that this discovery was being reported, another body was found in the Musala Island area.

This man was also completely wrapped in clear plastic. He also had a message, and this person was said to be wearing a red shirt and a navy blue shirt. The condition in which this body was found was not clear. It was not possible to obtain further physical characteristics.

Minutes before 6:00 a.m., the body of another man was found. He was shot and tied with wire to the side of the road that leads from the Villa Adolfo Lopez Mateos municipality, El Tamarindo, to the town of La Agua. This person was also found next to a fence and a tree. He also had gunshot wounds to his body. With these men, these six bodies add up to six bodies, well, six people murdered in less than two hours. In Culiacán, and for a change, at the same time that the investigations were being carried out, here in Culiacán, in San Ignacio, three men were found murdered, by gunshots, also in the area of San Ignacio, south of Culiacán. With this discovery, the total number of bodies is nine. Nine people were murdered in less than two hours. José, here's the report. Thank you, Ángel. Good afternoon, José. I'm expanding on Ángel Beltrán's report on these murders. I repeat, May was the month with the highest homicides in 2025, with 165, and June seems to be doing the same. April had 119 homicides. March had 135, February 119, and January 138. Violence in Sinaloa is soaring. A few moments ago, Ángel Beltrán also commented that three people were executed near Limón de los Peraza in San Ignacio. Let's go with Enrique. Hey, do you have the report on the location of these three people who were found executed? Please come with the report, Enrique. Good afternoon. How are you? José. Good afternoon. I greet you and the entire Luz audience. As you reported, the bodies of three people were found this Friday morning on the Mazatlán-Culiacán freeway near the community of El Limón de los Perazos at the intersection. The discovery was reported around 7 a.m. by passersby who were able to observe the presence of the three lifeless male bodies. Authorities were informed of the incident. The identities of the individuals, presumed to have been murdered at the scene and dumped at this location, are unknown.

Also, spent shell casings were found at the site where the bodies were found. Members of the Mexican Army, the Navy, and the State and Municipal Police were dispatched to verify the report, confirming the presence of the three bodies. The perimeter of the body was cordoned off and secured. The Attorney General's Office of the State of Sinaloa, based in Mazatlán, traveled to the area to conduct the necessary investigations to compile the investigation file. Subsequently, an on-duty funeral home was ordered to remove the bodies and transfer them to the facilities of the forensic medical service in Mazatlán, where an autopsy will be performed, which will allow the cause of death and identity to be determined so that their families can claim the body. As previously reported, this incident also adds to the wave of violence occurring in parts of the state's center this Friday, with at least six people reported dead this morning in Culiacán Navolato, and Mocorito. José Auditorio, this is the report.

Criminal Group had nearly 3,000 explosives! Army searches and secures home in El Huajote, Concordia, Sinaloa. April 25, 2025

VIDEO TRANSLATION

Yesterday, a very important seizure of explosive devices was carried out. These improvised explosives, which unfortunately are increasingly common in their use by organized crime, and many of these devices are launched from drones. Criminals are also introducing technology to this.

Yesterday, members of the Mexican army made a significant seizure. Just imagine the number: 2,889 explosive devices, almost 3,000. If they hadn't been seized, imagine where the damage they could have caused would have ended up. This was at a home within the community of Guajote, which belongs to the municipality of Concordia. According to the information, the military identified a property previously used as a tortilla factory, and the homemade devices were located there.

Therefore, a request was made to the Attorney General's Office. of the Republic, a search warrant. After receiving the document, military personnel entered the premises where they counted these explosives, which I told you were 2,889. The information was confirmed by the Secretary of Security herself, or rather, the Secretary of Public Security, through a newsletter. Then, they had to close several streets, obviously due to the danger these explosive devices represent.

Whenever a discovery of this type of device is made, the bomb squad has to be called in. The work that has to be done is very meticulous, precisely because of the risk involved, uh, the possibility of them exploding. So, yes, the work is meticulous. They closed several streets in this community, a small community in the municipality of Concordia called El Guajote, until they managed to secure the nearly 3,000 explosives. This is in southern Sinaloa.

And today in the security cabinet, President, I don't know if you or the
Secretary would like to comment on the issue of what happened yesterday in Sinaloa at this rehabilitation center where people were being treated for addictions and the emergence of this criminal group. I don't know if you have an idea which group perpetrated it and if they have made any progress in the investigations. I understand it was recently but there will be something, Secretary.

Yes, the report was received from the C4 there in Culiacán in the morning. There are nine people dead, and five wounded. They enter a building. The homicides did not occur on a public street. They are reaching the interior of this rehabilitation center, which, as you mentioned, is an addiction center named Shadai. There are nine people dead, all men, all of age. Everything indicates these are the first reports, but we will to report more precisely as the investigation progresses, it was a cell of those known as the Chapitos attacking a cell inside this rehabilitation center belonging to their antagonistic group, the Mayos. That's the information we have right now. There are vehicles that we already have information about which vehicles participated, and we are also working with local authorities to make this arrest. Due to the
characteristics of the incident, will this event be investigated by the
State Prosecutor's Office or will it be brought by the Attorney General's Office? The State Attorney General's Office has it, and we are also in the Attorney General's Office of the Republic, Sedena, Marina. Secretary of Security, we are working in collaboration with the local Prosecutor's Office.
So it was the Chapitos who broke in. These are the first reports. If
there is additional information, We'll see, but this is preliminary information we have. Thank you very much.

Luis Alfonso López Reátiga, alias Toner, one of the alleged security chiefs of Los Chapitos, was arrested last Wednesday, February 26, when he was hospitalized in a private clinic in this city of Culiacán.

According to the data, the arrest took place shortly before 9:00 p.m., in the facilities of the Médica de la Ciudad hospital, located on Álvaro Obregón Avenue.

During his arrest, Toner was wearing a hospital gown. The reasons for his hospitalization are unknown at this time, however, unofficial data indicate that he was injured during a confrontation with security forces.

According to the National Registry of Arrests (RND), the arrest was carried out by agents of the Federal Ministerial Police.

It also states that López Reátiga is in the Aguaruto Penitentiary Center.

MY THOUGHTS~BY: CHAR

EL TONER

Despite rumors in news media regarding Luis Alfonso Lopez Reatiga, known as "El Toner," being appointed as one of the security chiefs of the Los Chapitos criminal group, we can confirm that this is far from true. El Toner was never in the position of security chief for Ivan Archivaldo and Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar, leaders of La Chapiza or the Los Chapos Cartel. Instead, El Toner was part of the inner circle of Juancho or El Gavilan, a high-ranking member of the La Chapiza Cartel who has held various leadership roles in the city of Culiacan. El Toner was among several dangerous criminals who escaped from the Aguaruto Penitentiary during the first Culiacanazo on October 17, 2019, when Ovidio Guzman Lopez was freed after threats were made to kidnap military family members stationed in Sinaloa. I do not wish to downplay the capture of El Toner or contradict other news media outlets.

La Chapiza Cartel captured and interrogated a Los Cabrera Cartel operative criminal organization based out of Durango. The Los Cabrera member's name is Sebastian Martinez Perez, "El 05" who claims to be in charge of recruiting civilians to join the ranks of the Los Cabrera Cartel. Mr. Martinez Perez claims in the interrogation video to be from Tamazula, Durango but lives in Culiacan, Sinaloa.

La Mayiza and La Chapiza criminal organizations have both engaged in degrading themselves in interrogation videos since the war broke out in September 2024 between both sides. The following interrogation video is no exception as Mr. Martinez Perez warns Los Cabrera and La Mayiza members to not trust there leaders as they continue to make false promises.

Sicario: Whats your name?

Captive: Sebastian Martinez Perez. Everyone knows me as 05.

Sicario: How old are you?

Captive: 39.

Sicario: Where you from?

Captive: Tamazula, Durango. But I currently live in Culiacán, Sinaloa.

Sicario: Which criminal group do you work for?

Captive: I belong to the Cabreras mob. In addition, I report to El Picudo who in turn works for Mayito Flaco.

Sicario: Whats your job?

Captive: I recruit people to fight in the towns of Cásala, El Salto, and other areas.

Sicario: Is there something that you’d like to say to your buds from that criminal cell that you belonged to?

Captive: Things are tough out here. It’s best that everyone give it some thought before engaging in anything because this isn’t a game. As you can see my companions are in the same boat that I’m in. And the honest truth is that the Chapiza mob is to tough to defeat. Everyone is asking for people to come work with them out here but they honestly don’t need them. It’s best for everyone to just stay the fuck out of this. We’re out here dying of hunger and there isn’t any support for us. We’ve been out here for several days now and we haven’t had any help. Just stay the fuck out of this. Otherwise, the same fate that we’ve had awaits you guys. Everyone that was told that they’d ascend within the organization needs to just to stay away if you’re seeing this video. The Chapiza mob isn’t easy to defeat. We’re fighting for a mob that can’t always provide what all we need. These gentlemen spared my wife the day I was captured. I was told that they don’t mess with women and immediately let her go. The message is clear gentlemen. I already know that my life has gone to shit. But for everyone out there that still has a chance. It’s best that you stay the fuck out of this conflict. Don’t bother going into Culiacán either because everything will end horribly for you. There’s no reason why our mob should have us out here like this. As everyone can see my partners have also been captured…
