In the state of Jalisco, two people were arrested, including Alfredo "N," identified as one of the operators of a criminal group causing violence in several municipalities of Zacatecas.
Members of the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of the Navy, the Attorney General's Office (FGR), the National Guard, and the Ministry of Security and Citizen Protection participated in these operations, along with the Attorney General's Office of the State of Zacatecas.
Following lines of investigation to locate perpetrators of violence in the state of Zacatecas, Alfredo "N" was identified. He was involved in the buying and selling of narcotics, firearms, homicides, kidnapping, and extortion, with a presence in several municipalities in southwestern Zacatecas.
The same investigation revealed that the individual traveled to the state of Nayarit in April of this year, seeking protection from authorities. Therefore, he was monitored using mobile surveillance and technological equipment.
This led to the detection of his intended destination in the municipality of Magdalena, Jalisco, to a property in the La Cañita neighborhood. An operation was deployed, locating Alfredo "N," who was accompanied by Isidro "N." They were stopped and subjected to a security check.
After the operation, two long guns, one handgun, three magazines, 44 cartridges, two kilos of cocaine, and 900 doses of methamphetamine were found on them.
Along with the confiscated items, both individuals were handed over to the Public Ministry agent, who will determine their legal status and conduct subsequent investigations.
It's worth mentioning that Alfredo "N" has an outstanding arrest warrant in the state of Zacatecas for extortion, bribery, and criminal conspiracy. Furthermore, Isidro "N" is a public official in the municipality of Hostotipaquillo, Jalisco.

Tepic, Nayarit - The Secretary of the Navy through the Mexican Navy informs that, in recent days, naval personnel carried out the location and eradication of 15 marijuana plantations in the State of Tepic, Nayarit.
Vice Admiral Felix Quiroz Javier, Commander of the Tenth Naval Zone, explained that in different actions carried out by Navy personnel in the vicinity of the municipalities of Jala, Ixtlan del Rio and Santa Maria del Oro, 15 marijuana plantations were located and eradicated.
These plantations covered an area of approximately 25,700 square meters, with approximately 555,750 plants weighing approximately 166,725 kilograms.
Two metal magazines, 58 cartridges, nine magazine holders and a tactical vest with magazine holders were also seized and were handed over to the competent authorities for the corresponding investigation.
In the permanent fight against drug trafficking and in view of the increase in the consumption and popularity of various illegal drugs worldwide, the High Command of the Mexican Navy instructed naval personnel to establish operations to locate, seize and destroy illicit crops.
In conclusion, Vice Admiral Felix Quiroz Javier added that with these actions, the Secretary of the Navy, through the Mexican Navy, contributes to the Mexican Government's joint efforts to combat the production and processing of drugs in the country, thereby weakening the manufacture of drugs by criminal groups and preventing their distribution and sale, thus preventing them from being within the reach of young Mexicans.

During a patrol, members of the National Guard secured grenades, improvised explosive devices, long arms, magazines, useful cartridges and tactical equipment bearing the initials of the Jalisco Cartel - New Generation, in the municipality of Xalisco, Nayarit.
The federal agency announced on Saturday afternoon that the discovery was made during security and crime prevention patrols in the town of Trigomil in the municipality of Xalisco, Nayarit.
There, the national guardsmen participating in the National Public Security Strategy in the state of Nayarit received a citizen's report alerting them to the presence of armed persons on board a pickup truck in front of a construction site.
