Good evening to all the Michoacán citizens, federal government, and the leaders of the Ministry of National Defense. The day of a social uprising is very near. As citizens, we will protect our families and stop the murders of innocent, hardworking people committed by Wicho, Poncho, and Abuelo Farías.

We say to the government, that if you are going to continue supporting the insults and abuses committed by these extortionists, the people will no longer allow it. Let them wage their war with other cartels. It's not fair that we, the people, have to pay for this.

Their extortion and fee collection business is lucrative. But now, they’re trying to recruit our wives and daughters to form so-called self-defense groups. Open your eyes: these self-defense groups are hitmen under the command of Wicho, Poncho, and Abuelo Farías. It's unjust to see them mess with the lives of people and hard working citizens.

We're fed up with their persecutions, the government's abuses, and their lies. The only thing they’ve ever given us was lots of empty promises. If Michoacán and Mexico need another revolution, it will be born here in Michoacán. The state of Michoacán will no longer live under the injustices of the government and the murders of the so-called self-defense groups.

As for you, Abuelo Farías, we all know that the government supports you with the weekly percentages you give them. Wicho and Poncho, we Michoacanos know that you are supported by the mayors of Los Reyes, Tingüindín, Tocimbo, and Cotija.

They’re the ones that allow them to have those scumbag public security directors who lend themselves to the disappearances of citizens and many other things. Let it be clear, government, this is our last warning. Expect us very soon.

Army busts clandestine mega-lab in Tepalcatepec, a blow of 80 million a week to Michoacán's biggest drug lord, after the murder of eight soldiers in his territory

MAY 28, 2025

INFORMATION BY NOVENTA GRADOS

Tepalcatepec, Mich., May 28, 2025. In a major blow to organized crime, members of the Mexican Army located and dismantled a clandestine mega-laboratory in the municipality of Tepalcatepec. The laboratory had the capacity to produce nearly two tons of synthetic drugs weekly, with an estimated value of more than 80 million pesos per week.

The operation was reportedly carried out during surveillance and reconnaissance patrols in high-crime areas, specifically in the vicinity of the town of Catarino Pérez, according to the Ministry of National Defense (Sedena).

During the operation, soldiers detected several individuals aboard a pickup truck who, upon noticing the military presence, abandoned the vehicle and fled into the undergrowth. The vehicle, which had been reported stolen, was transporting two tubs containing approximately 300 kilograms of a granulated substance with characteristics similar to methamphetamine.

After securing the vehicle, the soldiers conducted a search of the area and, a short distance away, located a clandestine complex operating as a drug laboratory. The site was equipped with industrial infrastructure and large quantities of chemical inputs.

At the site, four reactors, four condensers, three metal centrifuges, seven cylindrical containers, 53 drums containing unidentified chemicals, 32 vats, 29 drums containing various substances, six buckets containing unknown white material, 64 sacks containing probable caustic soda, more than 10 gas tanks, and three large-capacity metal pots were seized.

This discovery represents one of the most significant seizures in the region so far this year and comes just hours after the deaths of eight Army and National Guard soldiers when a mine was activated that blew up the armored truck they were traveling in, on the border between Michoacán and Jalisco. The crime is attributed to the terrorist organization (designated as such by the United States) Carteles Unidos, which includes the Los Reyes Cartel and the Tepalcatepec Cartel, with Juan José Farías "El Abuelo" as its top leader.

Despite being the leader of a terrorist group, it is presumed that El Abuelo Farías does not have a single arrest warrant in Michoacán. However, it has been proven that the Army protects its territory from incursions by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, even using helicopter gunships to preserve the drug trafficker's hegemony.

The state government has even further protected the criminal stronghold of Tepalcatepec—a municipality governed by a sister-in-law of El Abuelo Farías—by installing six Interinstitutional Operations Bases with state agents and soldiers, a disproportionate number compared to, for example, Morelia, the state capital, where there are only five bases to protect one million residents, while Tepalcatepec has only 24,000 inhabitants.

THIS INFORMATION WAS POSTED BY LATINUS

The alleged criminal was arrested on October 28, 2024, at a home located in Jalisco, where firearms and cartridges for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces were seized, as well as one kilogram and 53 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride, according to the FGR.

Armando "N," alias "Delta 1," the operator and chief hitman for "Los Delta," the armed wing of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), had his precautionary measure changed by a federal judge, who granted him house arrest, his defense attorney reported.

On October 28, 2024, "Delta 1" was captured along with a woman by the National Guard after an operation in the Lagos Country residential neighborhood in Zapopan, Jalisco. During this operation, the Attorney General's Office (FGR) reported that he was seized with firearms and cartridges for the exclusive use of the Army, Navy, and Air Force, and charged with simple possession of one kilogram and 53 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride. He was subsequently charged with crimes against public health, for which he was brought to trial.

The alleged criminal was presented by federal ministerial authorities before a Specialized District Judge of the Accusatory Criminal System of the State of Mexico, based in Almoloya de Juárez, who ordered Armando "N" to be prosecuted and placed in pretrial detention at the Federal Social Readaptation Center No. 1 "Altiplano" and granted a four-month period for the complementary investigation.

Víctor Beltrán, the defendant's defense attorney, asserted that the federal prosecutors failed to substantiate the evidence presented to the judge against Armando "N."

"The prosecution failed to prove anything; once again, they fell short, offered no evidence, and ultimately tried to rectify their poor work by making laughable and unfounded arguments, as reflected in today's ruling," the litigant emphasized.

The alleged criminal's expert legal counsel submitted a brief requesting a change in the precautionary measure. The hearing was held remotely on May 1, 2025, at the Federal Criminal Justice Center in the state of Jalisco, at the Puente Grande Penitentiary Complex, before Control Judge Juana Beatriz Aguilar Jiménez.

"Through a ruling in favor of my client, it was proven that he has been housebound, allowing him to enjoy his full freedom, carrying out his proceedings outside the country, going to sign in every 15 days, and continuing with the technical tasks associated with his job, running his business as a merchant," the lawyer explained.

Latinus asked the Attorney General's Office what actions it will take following this ruling by the Control Judge, but so far it has not responded.

Videos reveal how public thank the leader of the Jalisco Cartel - New Generation at an event organized by municipal authorities.

In the municipality of Coalcomán in the state of Michoacán, a public event generated controversy after, according to videos posted on social networks, the event organized by the municipality thanked Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias “El Mencho”, leader of the Jalisco Cartel - New Generation (CJNG), for gifts to local children.

At the event, held in recent days, there was a sign that read:

“The children of Coalcomán thank Mr. Nemesio Oseguera and his sons 2 and 3, and Commander Delta 1 for their noble gesture! Thank you for your gifts!”.

On Nacho Lozano's Imagen Noticias newscast, headed last night by Crystal Mendivil, it was also reported that last December 10, during the anniversary of the founding of the municipality, a corrido in honor of “El Mencho” was included during a cockfight, in front of local authorities.

Government Reactions

The governor of Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla, strongly condemned the events through his social networks:

“In Michoacán we condemn the apology of those who promote violence. For this reason, we ask the @FGR to thoroughly investigate the municipal authorities of Coalcomán for their probable links to a criminal group”.

Likewise, the government of the entity requested the removal from office of the mayor of Coalcomán, Anabel Ávila, of the Movimiento Ciudadano party, to facilitate the investigation of her possible involvement in these acts.

The fact has caused indignation in social networks, where users demand strong legal actions against those who participate in these practices, which contribute to the normalization of violence and social control by organized crime.
