Among the victims are a father and son, originally from Mazatlán; the older of them is the romantic partner of the woman who was released after being tortured.

Six people, including two brothers and a woman, the partner of one of the victims, were abducted while traveling in a late-model vehicle toward Villa de Ahome.

They had all departed shortly before from the port of Mazatlán; their families have already filed missing persons reports.

Father and son deprived of their freedom

Two of the men who were deprived of their freedom are Luis Ramón Flores Ceballos, 38 years old, and his son Luis Armando Flores Vallejo, 19 years old, both originally from Mazatlán, but temporarily residing in Villa de Ahome.

In addition, a third victim was identified only as Yuri, a woman who lives in Villa de Ahome, and was the romantic partner of Luis Ramón Flores Ceballos.

Two brothers abducted

Among those "abducted" are two brothers named Juan Antonio Soto Espain, 29 years old, apparently from the Residencial del Valle subdivision, as well as his brother, a 17-year-old identified as José Ángel Soto Espain, 17 years old.

The fifth missing person

Likewise, the fifth man who was deprived of his liberty is named Heriberto López Díaz, 30 years old, and it was not stated whether he was also originally from the port of Mazatlán or from the municipality of Ahome.

Little is known about the abduction.

On Sunday, February 8, the ex-partner of Luis Ramón Flores Ceballos and mother of Luis Armando Flores Vallejo called 911 and reported that, at the time of their abduction on Saturday, February 7, they were driving from Mazatlán to drop off Yuri in a white Dodge Attitude.

Unofficially, it was also reported that while driving on the Los Mochis-Ahome highway, near the El Macapul junction, they were allegedly intercepted by unknown individuals who forcibly took them away; however, there is no official information yet regarding the exact location where they were abducted.

Until that moment, it was only known that Yuri and Luis Ramón Flores Ceballos' son had been taken. However, this morning, the abduction was reported again, and it was reported that three more men were traveling with them; that is, there were six people in the vehicle, including the woman.

The woman was released.

It was also unofficially reported that, after the multiple disappearances, the woman was released hours later, allegedly after being tortured.

It wasn't until this afternoon that the Sinaloa State Commission for the Search for Disappeared Persons confirmed the disappearances and issued missing persons reports, numbers RZN-0023-2026 and RZN-0024-2026, for the father and son. RZN-0025-2026 and RZN-0026-2026, by the Soto Espain brothers, and RZN-0027-2026, by the fifth missing person with the surname López Díaz.
