During the search operation for 10 miners, personnel from the Mexican Navy located the sites and also seized weapons in two locations in Concordia.

Search operations for the ten missing miners resulted in the seizure of ammunition, tactical equipment, an improvised explosive device, and the discovery of 10 camps in the municipality of Concordia, Sinaloa.

The first operation was carried out during aerial and ground patrols in the town of El Verde, where naval personnel seized 1,600 rounds of ammunition, 46 magazines, an improvised explosive device, four tactical vests, and a ballistic helmet.

In a second operation, in the town of Los Naranjos, also located in the mountainous region, ten camps belonging to organized crime were located and dismantled.

They were searching for miners and located the Concordia camps.

As a preventive measure that weakens their capabilities, protects the civilian population, and reaffirms the institution's commitment to strengthening security, efforts were made to dismantle and secure the area.

The explosive device was destroyed in the area by specialized personnel, while the remaining seized items were turned over by personnel from the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection to the competent federal authorities to be included in the corresponding investigation files.

With these actions, the Secretariat of the Navy, through the Mexican Navy, reaffirms its commitment to strengthening security, combating crimes that affect the population, and contributing to the maintenance of public order.
