CSRL Interrogates Two CJNG Lookouts in Guanajuato

By "El Huaso" for Borderland Beat

Two new narco videos released by members of the Cártel de Santa Rosa de Lima (CSRL) show the interrogation and killing of two lookouts working for the Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) in Guanajuato.

In the first video, two CSRL members interrogate a young man who identified himself as working as a lookout for the CJNG in the town of Puquichapio, in Yuriria, Guanajuato. He claims he was paid 1,500 pesos (90 USD) a week by a local officer named Martin. According to the lookout, in recent days the CJNG has been attacking targets in the town with the support of the local police.

In the second video, which appears to be filmed in the same corn field, a larger group of CSRL members interrogate a heavily beaten man who also claims to work as a lookout for the same Martin, and offers the same information about the CJNG-police collusion.

Neither mans corpse has been found yet by authorities.

Since the mid 2010s, Guanajuato state has been violently contested by the CJNG and CSRL. Around 2017, the CJNG invaded the state from the east, intending to secure control of drug trafficking routes north. The CSRL, then under control of José Antonio Yépez Ortiz "El Marro", declared war on the CJNG, sparking a brutal turf conflict which has made Guanajuato the most violent state in Mexico by homicide count for ten years. In recent years, the Los Mayos faction of the Sinaloa Cartel has supported the CSRL, using them as a proxy against the CJNG.

The CSRL routinely records interrogations and violent murders of captured CJNG members in an attempt to influence public perceptions of the group.

    1. There used to be crazy narcos and even narcosatanicos but now there's a bunch of narco-princesas throwing tantrums on social media and taking it out on low level lookouts.

    2. Very strange, after having private security agencies from US worth millions of dollars a year, the "santa rosas" are fully vested and got the best top of the line military equipment and uniforms to murder the lowest of the lowest of unemployed mexicans.

Like the antrax group whose leaders would send 8 Suburban SUVs full of 40 year old pendejos to kidnap and kill a 15 year old kid and then have a corrido glorifying how baddass the mission was.

    5. Do you want Sea Tac? Sea Tac is an administrative federal detention center that primarily houses pre-trial detainees and inmates in transit.
Northwest posse won’t be available until the Haitian crisis is over...

    6. It's mostly Sinaloa and less by other groups. Once out of the airport things go to local distributors. It doesn't matter how much local police, DEA, military or other LEOs are in the airport since the cartels ALWAYS have people "on the take" otherwise drugs would have stopped coming in ages ago.
