Juan Pedro Arámburo García, the commander of the Sinaloa State Preventive Police, was shot and killed yesterday morning in Culiacán, in an ambush while he was driving through the streets of the 10 de Mayo neighborhood.
According to witnesses, Garcia was driving in southern Culiacán in a white Nissan Versa when a vehicle blocked his path. Another vehicle with gunmen pulled up and opened fire before fleeing the scene.
The Sinaloa Cartel civil war has brought homicides to new heights in Culiacán and across the state. Last year, the number of murders nearly doubled, from 541 in 2024 to 908.

A little cavalier for the top cop to be driving around Culiacán in a Nissan, isn't it?
ReplyDeleteMaybe Commander Garcia's successor should consider an armored Humvee for his ride.
Why was homicides soo high in culiacan 2017 again?
ReplyDeleteMayo flaco swooping in like a great golden eagle, talons slippery with 🍕 blood
ReplyDeleteWhen i go to wiki page for Mexican drug war it says that casualties are up to 400 000 , from 2006 to 2021. Now add another 5 bloody years. Also the mexican authorities are always hiding the real numbers and I don't even know if civilian casualties are also included so it could be 700 000 plus easily, probably up to a million. And there are at least 150 000 missing if we are to trust the official sources. These are Russia Ukraine full blown war numbers and it's absolutely insane.
ReplyDeleteLol being a police commander is a death sentence 🇨🇴👮♂️🚔
