Eight people died after gunmen attacked a bar in the state of Morelos early on Saturday morning.
Around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, a group of gunmen attacked the “Rincón de la Banda” bar in the municipality of Ayala in Morelos state, according to a local government press release. By the time authorities arrived at the scene, seven men and one woman were slain by gunfire.Diario de Morelos reported that the bar’s owner also owns several other bars across the state which have been attacked over the last couple months. If this is accurate, it could suggest a motive for the massacre.
According to the Ayala city press release, the bar was operating illegally, without the appropriate alcohol license. In response to the attack, the city has begun inspecting the cities’ bars, shutting several down.

ReplyDeleteHow can you expect to soar with the eagles in the morning if you hoot with the owls all night?
It is very dangerous to go and drink in a Mexican bar. You must follow caution rules if you do. Every time I go to a Mexican bar I always sit in the back next to the back way exit door. I make sure it's not locked. I also sit with my back to the wall and facing the front door. If Koo Foo is available I give him a couple of bucks to sit outside and watch out for anything suspicious. These simple rules can save your life in a Mexican bar if the owner skips on his extortion tax. Nuff Said!!!
