A Novice Operative From Chihuahua Loses Horribly

“Sol Prendido” for Borderland Beat

Ok, so here it goes. It’s murder by the numbers yet again.

An individual by the name of Héctor Julián Vásquez has been caught during the ongoing Sinaloa civil war somewhere in Sinaloa.

His capture comes at the hands of the Chapiza mob. They suspect him of being a Mayiza operative.

Several questions are asked and he speaks because they force him to.

We learn that his name is Héctor, that he's from Chihuahua. He’s questioned how many people he came with.

And he in turn tries to downplay his significance by claiming that he came alone. His answers aren’t well received by the enforcers.

This causes him to get beat with the barrel of a rifle, kicked across his upper torso, burned with a flammable aerosol, and finally removed from this world with repeated machete strikes.
