Over the last week, a crime group has been killing off the members of a notorious pickpocketing gang in Puebla, leaving signed narco messages. On 28 October, the groups leader was found dead next to a narco message claiming the group would continue the killings of her gang.

Neighbors reported the body and message on 28 October in a ditch in the San Pablo Xochimehuacan area of Puebla. The text of the message was: “This happened to me for charging pickpockets too much and for being a turncoat. And we're coming for more. Atte, El Comandante Diablo. There's your Paty Rubín.”
Patricia Angélica Rubín Montes, "Paty Rubín" was the alleged leader of Los Rubin, a criminal group operating in Puebla focused on theft of handbags and pickpocketing. Paty Rubín was previously arrested in July 2025 by Policia Estatal for theft on public transport, but was later released.
In a press release, the Secretary of Citizen Security announced that the body was confirmed to be Paty Rubín.
This is second body left next to a narco message signed by El Comandante Diablo in Puebla in a week. On 25 October, another corpse was left with a message in the La Resurrección area of north east Puebla.

The message read: "The purge has arrived for all those who go around collecting fees and extorting working people... The people of El Comandante Diablo Special Forces Corps have arrived."
Killing the members of a notorious theft gang is an easy way to gain local support, especially when civilians view the justice system as corrupt, slow, and ineffective. This type of opportunistic vigilante killing and accompanying messages are a common tactic in Mexico's crime conflict.

Cartels doing kidnapping, extortion, raping men and women, property theft. Why pick on pick pockets, they to trying to earn a living.
ReplyDeleteBecause they’re idiots . Who think they have “morals” . I rather get my cellphone stolen than come across the cartel scumbags
DeleteThat's what she said.
DeleteI want to comment here about a funny occasion that occurred in another article because I want everyone to enjoy it. Somebody mentioned a "stadium full of BB posters." Can you imagine such a spectacle? One part of the stadium will have a bunch of "performative males" holding lattes which cost a quarter of their wages. Another part will have a cluster of middle aged men with faded 90s tribal tattoos and all. The last section of the stadium will be a mixed bag, wannabes, Edgar haircut types, sol fans, bordering, if not full fledged, on being incels/lowcows. OK, I'm out.
Delete4:03 yea fuck them we gotta take the country back , que se vayan a la vrg pinches cricos , they nothing without the pueblo
DeleteNuffy?
DeleteJust stick a blade thru their eyeball if u encounter em
Deletepeople really defending thieves? unreal.
DeleteIt's only shitbags killing shitbags. Relax and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteWe don’t steal we just sell your children drugs laced with fentanyl
ReplyDelete@3.17. They're often just Police let off the leash to serve the purposes of the corrupt authorities and whichever boss has most to lose when people are being robbed. They get together and some mythical Commandante is created to scare the petty thieves and reassure the business owners. Commandante Diablo was likely just 3 sweaty middle aged cops with masks who'll be back at work tmrw. And no, it isn't Rey de Reyes attack dog from the Gulf-Zeta war lol.
ReplyDeleteTownspeople, pheasants, compensinos should team up with weapons and get rid of the local criminal cartel, an eye for an eye.
ReplyDeletePoor picket gang.
Why hasn't Borderland beat reported on the assassination of uruapan mayor huh....
ReplyDeleteI hate to say it but this is probably one good thing that the cartels are doing. These pickpocket scumbags are too lazy to work in an honest job and earn a living the normal way. I went to Paris France recently with Buffy because she had to look for vampires. The streets are full of Romanian groups that all pickpocket. They are not afraid of the police. If there's no evidence they are let go. If there is evidence they are held for one hour and then charged a small citation and released to continue their pickpocket stealing. I guarantee you that if somebody started killing these dudes the pickpocket would immediately stop. Nuff Said!!!
ReplyDeleteYou guys outnumber them 100 to 1... A revolution would be nothing, for you Industrious SUMBITCHES, wey!
ReplyDeleteAre you all going to cover the murder of Carlos Manzo? I understand BB is unpaid but instead of random stories, maybe covering the most widespread news right now would be a good idea.
ReplyDeleteYeah thats fair. I'll see if I can make time after work today to cover it.
DeleteYour tio is a cartel member or your primo or maybe the neighbors… or you can be one too
